I am having problems with my hotmail email and new software update. It keeps asking me for my password even though the email account has been verified. Please help

It keeps asking me to re- enter the password. Is there something that I am doing wrong, the account has been verified but as soon as I exit out of settings it will ask me to re-enter my password.

I have done this and keeps saying the same thing. I have even tried setting my account through Microsoft exchange but no luck

Are you having problems with Windows XP Pro and Airport Utility Updates?

I was having problems with my wireless laptop setting up my Bonjour Printer. I checked to make sure I had downloaded the latest updates to Airport Utility and Bonjour. Check. After doing this I noticed I couldn't see my Airport Extreme through the Airport Utility. After much frustration and bringing my entire network crashing down around me, I got help from a knowledgeable guy from Cox Cable in San Diego. He helped me get my trusty iMac Power PC online. It saw my Airport Extreme but no answers were forthcoming in any forums about my XP issues. Here is what finally solved my problem. I uninstalled all Airport Utility and Bonjour Programs. I then went back to Airport Utility 5.3.1 for Windows. It installs Bonjour Printer services with this download. Everything is working perfectly again. I have my Canon Pixma MP500 connected to the USB port on my AEBS and Bonjour walked right through the setup process. I suggest that if this works for you, turn off all Airport Utility and AEBS firmware updates until you see that whatever issue Apple created with these updates gets fixed.

I'm pretty sure the extra 512 memory stick was the problem, that would explain why it was being inconsistent with its type of failures before. I'm going to reinstall it later and run memtest86 and try and see if i can get it to work at all somehow without causing problems, cuz 1.5 was already low enough...

My ipad keeps using my old email account for I cloud, even though the emal account was canceled two years ago. How do I change the account number which pops up on my ipad?

When I got my ipad, i was still using an old isp, but i changed isp when we moved. When i attempt to use cloud features, i get prompted for the password for the old email account which I turned off 2 years ago, What should I do?

You need to do the following:
1.     Go to Manage Your Apple ID https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
2.     Sign on with your current Apple ID and password
3.     Change your Apple ID to the old email address, but do not verify it - Save Changes
4.     Go to Setting>iCloud on your iPad, and scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Delete Account
5.     It will ask you for your password to turn off Find My iPhone, type in your current password
6.     Delete iCloud account
7.     Go back to Manage Your Apple ID and sign in with the changed ID and current password
8.     Change your Apple ID back to your current ID - Save Changes
9.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with your current Apple ID
You should be all set.

Problems with ipod battery life AND new software

First of all, I'm not 100% sure if my ipod is fifth generation... it's a 30 GB and I've had it since December 2006. This just seemed to be the only category it fit into.
But here we go: I have two major problems with my ipod that have arisen in only a period of a couple days.
First of all, my battery life suddenly got REALLY REALLY bad. I know there are already a bunch of threads with people complaining about their battery life, but mine is much worse. The battery life did progressively get a little worse over the past few weeks, but it was nothing major. But I turned my ipod on the other day, RIGHT after fully charging it, mind you, and within 2-3 minutes the battery was halfway discharged and in about 5 minutes it was almost dead.
And a couple of times, I had my ipod plugged into my iBook to charge, and the iBook went into sleep mode because I left it alone for a while. But after a couple hours I came back and the battery level was LOWER than when I plugged it in!!!! What's going on with this thing?
And then to make matters worse, I finally broke down and downloaded the new ipod software the other day (sorry I can't remember the version, but it's the most recent). Everything seemed OK until I turned on my ipod the next day. With the old software, when I would select "Music>" and then "Artists>" it would go to the list of artists like it's SUPPOSED to.
But now, when I select "Artists>" it then goes to a list entitled "Artists" and my ONLY option is "All>". If I click "All>" then it takes me to a second list called "All Albums" and my only option again is "All>". When I click it again, it takes me to a list called "All Songs" with NOTHING in it. At first, I was afraid the update had deleted all the music off my ipod, but I plugged it back into my computer and according to iTunes, everything was still there as if nothing had happened.
Is there anything I can do to remedy either of these problems? I am so frustrated with this thing, considering both of these things happened rather suddenly and the fact that my ipod is not even a year old and it's not like I've been abusing it or anything.

I've had both exact problems (listed below) within days of each other just like you. This is extremely effing frustrating and it appears Apple isn't doing sh|t about it.
Problem 1: Battery constantly discharges even when ipod is turned off.
Problem 2: After upgrading firmware to 1.2.2, all my content (songs, podcasts, everything) was gone.
I'm glad to say I was able to fix problem 2 after reading about reverting back to version 1.2.1. There are instructions in this forum on how to do it. If you are like me, you'll have to download the 1.2.1 files from Apple's website because they were no longer on my computer.
This dieing/dead battery problem is a major effing pain in the a$$. Like you say, the effing thing is dead after minutes. The only way it can be used for any length of time is to leave it plugged in to a charger.
No one seems to have a solution which is even more upsetting than the problem. Hey Apple, I want my money back!

I'm having problems with Flash Videos (Youtube and ESPN)

I have been having this problem for the last couple of days now and it is really annoying. Whenever I watch a flash video like on youtube or espn my computer freezes up and the audio will make a loud buzzing sound. I have attached a video with the post so you can see what happens. I don't have problems with anything else except this. I also get this error no matter what browser I use. I have system restored my PC as far as I can go, and I've ran a ton of scans and driver update checks and nothing seems to work.

I have been having problems with my iPod touch and my WRT54G router. I am so frustrated right now because after following the various steps mentioned in one of these threads, following Earthlink's prompts, and speaking with Apple, my iPod touch will still not work. It is connected to the internet but will not download the pages. It is quite frustrating. I have changed from WPA to WEP, I switched the 4th Generated key to the 1st. I've disabled this, enabled that. I've done just about everything. I updated the firmware. I made the switch from a partial bridge to a full bridge. Still nothing seems to work. The one thing I have not done is enter the Apple code into the iPod which searches for website...-- I cannot access the internet with my iPod so this web address does not work. Before that with Apple for about an hour and before that with Earthlink. How it is that I can walk into a Bread Co. or Apple Store and immediately connect to the internet with my iPod but I can't in my own house?? Everyone seems to think it is someone else's problem so I've gone around and around. Not one of the Linksys support personnel suggested I look here on this community forum. I had to pay the $9 fee to have advanced Linksys help but still my iPod does not work and when I called back, the man I spoke with seemed to think the case was closed because my PC, Laptop, and iPod are connected to the internet -- the iPod just won't download the webpages or get mail. My iPod's IP address begins with 192. I would appreciate any help on this matter

I had the same issues with my iPod touch & iPhone. It's a known issue with the touch & Linksys G routers. Go into settings on the touch & do the following.
1. Settings - wifi - linksys
2. Erase your DNS settings & input same numbers as in router
Settings.
3. Http proxy should be
in off position.
4. Close out & open safari you should now have a wireless
connection.

CS3 still had issues with the preferences becoming corrupt, so a possible workaround would be to reset the preferences.
The file is called AIPrefs and is located under 'Documents and Settings/User/Application Data/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS3 Settings'. It is a hidden file. Delete it with Illustrator closed and when you launch the program again the file will be rebuilt.
May be it is also sounds like you need more memory for your computer. If you can navigate to your computer's memory controls, and allow your operating system to use a portion of your hard disk drive (HDD) as RAM (maybe 2Gb or so) it may solve your issue.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Do you have Parallels installed by any chance? There is a known problem that causes symptoms similar to this. You do not need to actually be running Parallels at the time and nothing in ActivityMonitor would point to Parallels. An update corrects the problem:

I´m having problems with my wifi an my new Macbook pro. It doesn´t remember the network so every time I log on - I have to "join a network". I have "ticked" the "remember password" box. I´m connecting to a wireless network on an regular Speedtouch router at home. I´m new to Mackintosh.

Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

All iPhones sold in Japan are sold carrier locked and cannot be officially unlocked by the carrier. If you unlocked it, it was by unauthorized means (hacked), and support cannot be given to you in this forum.
Hacked iPhones are subject to countermeasures by Apple, particularly when updating the firmware. It is likely permanently re-locked or permanently disabled.

What IP does your iPad show as having?
Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo.
Some folks have discovered that changing their DNS service fixes FaceTime connection issues.
The ideal way is to configure your modem/router with DNS service, but often settings in System Preferences/Network on your Mac will override the router settings. Try either of these;

Whenever i connect my iPhone5, it starts to sync. later when it reaches the 4th stage of 'Tranferring Purchases' it stops and says me to Authorize my computer.
But i had already authorized it and even signed my apple id.
Moreover, i have only authorized 1 out of my 5 computers.
