I am having trouble connecting to my network all of a sudden. I am able to connect to other networks but not my own. It is not an issue with the service/router because other devices connect fine. I keep getting kicked off and getting a ! in my airport. Last time it happended I called apple and the suggested I wipe my HD and reinstall everything. I did and it did not work. One day I turned my laptop on and it connected no problem. Now it has kicked me off again. I tried resetting my IP address but that does not work either! Has anyone had this problem?
Try this:
Apple menu / System Preferences / Network.
Click Location: and select Edit Locations..
Click + (plus sign), and enter a name for the new location - anything will do.
Apply this.

Ok so here is the problem. I am having trouble connecting to wifi networks that are password secured. I am able to connect to public wifi with no problem, but when networks have passwords on them I am unable to connect to them, and I know that passwords. I also know that i am putting the correct passwords in because I am able to connect to the networks on my computer. I have tried turning my phone off and then back on, turning the wifi off and then back on and even resetting my network passwords to no avail. The networks that are secure show up in the wifi list for networks but when I go to put the password in, it tells me "incorrect password for the network". It has never connected to it since the passwords have been put on it. I am out of ideas for trouble shooting. Can anyone else help?!Try a soft reset by holding in the power button and the home button in at the same time for about 15 seconds until the screen flashes and then goes completely black. Afterwards try and turn the phone back on and see if that works. Also you could try and reset the Network Settings by going to Settings--General--Reset--Reset Network Settings and see if that resolves your problems as well. If all else fails be sure and do a backup through ITunes and then try to restore the device. Hopefully all will be well now.

I have this question mark (?) in the upper left corner of my Finder windows. Anyone know what's up with that, what it might portend, and how to get rid of it?
Are you sure you have a PowerMac? They can't run Mac OS 10.6.8. Maybe a Mac Pro instead?
Can you post a screen shot of that portion of the screeen for us to review? Does the question mark replace the Apple that's at the left end of the menubar? -
I tried to order a book on iphoto but got the following message from Apple : "the file contains text with drop shadows. As a result Apple is unable to process your order" Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it? Thanks!!

Does anyone know what's up with the iPhone 4s' battery life? Some days it last a long time and other days it drains extremely fast.
Not to point out the obvious, but battery life depends very much on what is running and how much the device is being used.
If the battery lasts longer on a day you make no phone calls, but lasts less the day you make 5 hour long calls, this is to be expected.
If however the iPhone has the same level of use on both days, with different power consumption, this would infer a background process (or App) is trying to do something (connecting to server or creating a back up etc).
I switched off all thrid party apps from being included in my iCloud backup, which saves a huge amount of space on the cloud and allows the back up to take barely a couple of minutes.
Battery life seems ok so far on my 64GB 4S (Bluetooth on, Wi-Fi on, Location Services on, Push notifications on, Screen set to just under half brightness with Auto Adjust on) -
Clone stamp disappeared from Ps CC. Does anyone know what to do about this?

However, now the clone stamp has disappeared and I only have the pattern stamp. The other day it showed back up but now it is gone again. Does anyone know what to do about this?

My apps say they are "waiting" and they have been for days updating. They must be stuck. Not all of them but about 10 that ia am waiting on. Does anyone know what do do about this?
Just to add a couple of more things that you can try ... Along with what TMM suggested ....
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
You can also try updating from the app description page rather than the Updates Tab. Do a search for the apps that needs to be updated - when it appears in the search - tap on the app icon. Then tap on Update or Install - whatever happens to appear next to the app icon - in the description page that pops up.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again. -

Ignore the reset and when it says plae the iPod in Recovery mode
Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs:

On the list of recent calls, I have a number - 999-999-9999 showing up as an incoming call on one of my phones Anyone know what kind of number this is?
bovine2, We can understand the importance of tracking call details. If you are logged in to your My Verizon account and you see the number is all 9's,0's etc the number has been restricted by the originating party. Are you only seeing this number for incoming calls?
