I am having trouble sending an audio signal from my computer (mac pro early 2009) to my TV. Is there some interface or adapter that allows /enables the audio input from my computer to be sent to the TV (R,L signal?) any suggestions

just the audio, eh?. If you were using DVI or DisplayPort that might be different, but for audio alone, it shouldn't be that hard. Just grab a 3.5 mm stereo plug to 2 rca cables adapter. Plug the smaller end into the back of your Mac Pro (or the Front), where you see either the headphone or speaker icon). Alt-click on the speaker icon at the top of your screen to show all audio inputs and outputs. Make sure it's set to Line Out. Plug the red and white end into the audio in jacks on the back of your tv and set it to the correct input. I don't know if your tv will allow just the audio to play. Usually one has to connect up something else, but hopefully I'm wrong. If you were using DVI, or DisplayPort, you'd need an active DVI--HDMI adapter or a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, but

I was having trouble sending to hotmail accounts from my Earthlink account, they had me go into Mac Mail preferences and make changes (because they claimed it was Mac Mail's fault, even though the hotmail error code said it's because Earthlink is blocked by hotmail), now Mac Mail doesn't work AT ALL - any help changing the settings back to correct Mac Mail settings? There is not "fix" to be provided, Apple made a decision to not include the file sharing profile.

hey guys. I am having trouble with my internet. My MacBook Pro seems to be connected with Belkin wireless router, but the internet would not work. We recently changed the router so its pretty new, and it used to work on my HP laptop. Although there were some problems, it still worked. But now, the internet works and stops suddenly, and then works again.
I would love to hear some suggestions to get rid of this.

If you have not already done so, read the troubleshooting section in Belkin's user manual, contact their customer tech support by phone or go to its website. Please detail all you have done to resolve your issue. Need this information so that the users can avoid the "been there, done that" scenario type responses. I've received an error message Time Machine couldn't complete the backup to Time Capsule, the backup disk image /Volumes/Date/....MacBook Pro.sparsebundle" is already in use. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix it?

I've got mine working again by deleting a partial backup that was on the Time Capsule.
I mounted the backup sparsebundle, and then browsed the content and found a filestucture named <timstamp>.inProgress. I removed that and the followed the tip to disconnect described above. That did the trick for me.

Is there a 30 pin adapter that allows the iPhone to be controlled by the Apple Remote?

I have the apple universal dock with the remote which works via IR. I was hoping there could be a similar, smaller adapter to connect to the iPhone with an IR receiver allowing control of media. I ask because I wish to use it in the car where I have the iPhone connected to a Bluetooth receiver but I don't have a convenient place for the dock and phone to sit. Any ideas if there is such hardware out there?

I am having trouble sending bulk emails (less than 100 at a time) on my gmail account using group names created from my address book. I use Mail on my I-Mac. When I try to send out a bulk email, the message shows up that my server can't send them, etc.

They come back saying the server can't recognize the data and try again with selected server or try later or edit message, all of which I have attempted a number of times, including re-booting the computer. I am wondering if there is something wrong in my Address Book? I have check Apple Preferences, and Mail Preferences and all seems in order. I can send to any of the individual addresses, but not in a group.

Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

Is anyone else having trouble sending mail? I have a MobileMe subscription - not sure whether that is the problem. The Port assigned to my mail account on my iMac has a different number for the one recommended by Apple, but I hesitate to change it.

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.

if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

Apple Mail isn't going to change the format of any of your attachments. it isn't going to corrupt them either.
Exchange is a transport protocol and server. The issue you describe is not related to Exchange.
There are many different versions of Microsoft Outlook in use and they all have e-mail bugs. Different versions have different bugs. Some Apple Mail hack to get around a bug in Outlook 2003 may cause the same message to be problematic in Outlook 2000. Fix them both and another issue will cause trouble in Outlook 2007. You can't fix this. Apple can't fix this. Microsoft can and has but that is irrelevant if your recipients are using older versions.
One specific problem is that Apple Mail always sends image attachments inline, as images, not as iconized files. You can change this with Attachment Tamer. Just be aware that use of this software will break other things such as Stationery. E-mail is just a disaster. To date, no one outside of Apple has ever implemented the e-mail standards from 1993. Apple has continually changed its e-mail software to be more compatible with the de-facto standards that Netscape and Microsoft have unilaterally defined and people documented as "standards" after the fact. The e-mail messages that Apple Mail sends are 100% correct and do not violate any of the original standards from 1993 or the Microsoft/Netscape modifications. The problem is entirely bugs and limitations in various versions of Outlook.

The amount of RAM is not dependant on the operating system. It is all about the model of you Mac.
10.6.8 is the version of OS X that is installed on your system. It has no real baring on the amount of RAM that CAN be installed.
Personally I have never had good luck with Corsair RAM. I have always had good luck with Crucial and Kingston.

You can sync/manually mange iphone with one and only one computer. If you sync/manually mange to anther, then it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.

I know that this would concern me just the same and we want to make sure that your device is connected and receiving these notifications when available. How long have you been having this issue? Are you receiving a specific error message when sending a message? Are you aware if this happens in one location specifically or everywhere you go? Does the issue with messaging occur with all numbers? Share some details, so that we may assist.
