I am having trouble simply getting into my account
Hello I am a firsdt time user and am really frustrated. I have just replaced my iphone and am having trouble getting into my account in order to sync my phone

why can't you get tech support! i had to change my password. itunes is telling me my secrurity questions are wrong. can't get the right answer's or anyone to talk to. and i tried a couple of things mentioned in th forum they did not work.
It sounds like you have the Find my iphone Activation lock for sure. Go to www.icloud.com/find and see if you put in that Apple ID that is coming up and yoru password to see if you are able to sign into the account that way to turn it off. If you are unable to, you will have to contact AppleCare by phone (chat cannot handle account lock outs or forgotten password due to not being able to verify your identity) and see if they can reset it. And are you sure the Apple ID that is coming up yours?

For some reason when I shut down my computer then turn it back on, it comes back directly into my account, bypassing having to enter a password to get into my account. This works in direct conflict with the parental controls I've got set up. Any ideas?
Thank you so much for the quick response to my question. I tested your directions and it works!! Thank you. I would never have figured that out. I knew I had to go into System Preferences but would not have guessed that I needed to have Automatic Login set to off.

I have a macbook pro version 10.7.5 and my mailbox will not open at all and comes up with a quit message even though it is not open. how can i get into my account. it works on my iPhone and i have internet and all other functions working on my computer
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports (not "Diagnostic and Usage Messages") for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot. I know the report is long. Please post all of it anyway.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful. -

I have an iPad 3, iPad Mini and iPhone 5S and they are all sluggish on capitalisation using shift keys. I hope that Apple will solve the problem because it is driving me crazy.
I find using a Microsoft Surface and Windows 8 phone, which I also have, work as well as all the ios devices before the ios 7 upgrade.
It has something to do with the length of time that you need to hold the shift key down. The shift key needs to be held longer than the letter key for the capitalisation to work. For some reason, this is a major change in the way we have learnt to touch type on computers. I am having to relearn how to type!

my ipod was stolen and i finnaly was able to get into my account after they changed the password is there a way i can fid the locaition of my ipod even if it has died ?
No. The only way is if the FindMyiPod feature was already set up and wifi is on. However, that can be defeted by turning the iPod off or restoring it. If they have access to the iPod then can just turn the feature off.
If the iPod off/battery drained how would you expect there t be a way of finding it?

HI Iam trying to get into my account in Adobe Form Central and when i click on sign in...the screen shows " this page cannot be displayed" is there a problem with the site?
I just found that Amazon web services does have a network issue with one of their instances that is affecting some regions around the east coast, this could be affecting your ability to sign into FormsCentral. They will likely have that back up soon and assuming that could be the issue it should be fixed shortly.

From the time I have upgraded to Mavericks, I am having trouble syncing my gmail emails. After the mail update my personal mail accounts from gmail are working fine but I am still having trouble with my office gmail account. I am receving new emails in my web browser inbox but not in the mail application. Also, I could only see the new messages if I quit the mail application and relauch it. Please suggest any remedy?So you don't want any help from your fellow users, then. OK, that's fine. But #1 is not a "recourse", it's just a complaint.

Thanks.When setting up you email, do not click on the Yahoo! Use "Other" and follow the promps. Use imap.mail.yahoo.com as your Incoming Mail Server, and smtp.mail.yahoo.com as your Outgoing Mail Server.

Can't get into User Accounts in smc
After few Updating around I can't get into User Accounts in smc. I can go through up to there, but when I doubleclick on User Accounts it's get just clock loading forever, that's all. BTW I have unistalled update 121309-12 'coz with this update when I started smc - there was NO Solaris Management Console Server available. So I could not even load it. Please anybody know what causes this problem? Thanks in advance

I normally login to SMC. Server starts, I can see Management tools and Localhost, started Management. Then, when I click to User Accounts it's get overclocked, and waiting... -

Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
"done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
