I am having trouble with my calendar on my iPhone.

I can send invites fine. I can recive calendar invites fine. But if someone changes something with an event and sends an update I get the email that there is an update but it will not actually update in my calendar. Please help, this is getting to be a problem.

I was having the same problem of not being able to sync my ical with my iphone, I tried everything everyone said on the net, but the solution turned out to be different. You have to set up your icloud on both your mac and iphone. And if you are like me your mac wasnt probably setted up.
on Iphone:
settings - icloud - turn calendar on
on Mac:
system preferences - internet accounts - click on icloud and follow the instructions (asks for itunes ID etc)
as soon as both were on icloud, it synced perfectly

Let me re-qualify my issue. Under my Google Calendar account I have the main calendar I originally set up when setting up my account. I then set up several other calendars under this same account such as events, work, family and so on. All the calendars showed up on my iPhone and iPad with no problem and worked great for a year and a half now until yesterday. My main calendar does still show up but the others no longer appear on my devices. Going on line to look at my Google calendar/calendars everything is fine with all of them. Any thoughts as to why they no longer show up on my iPhone or iPad? Thanks again.

The sending of email is accomplished via the SMTP server. Take a moment to get back into Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars and select the account. Go to the SMTP server and check to make sure that username and password are entered in all of the appropriate places. If you cannot get it to work after trying to just change those settings, remove the account from the phone and recreate it. When recreating, make sure you enter the username and password in every location, even if the phone says optional. Make sure you have the settings from either the email provider or from the other device. Make sure that SSL is on or off as necessary.

If you are saying that after signing into iCloud it is telling you device is not found, it could be for any number of reasons. If the battery is dead, if the SIM has been removed, or if someone else has the phone and they have restored it, it will not be shown. Also, if you located it once and then sent a remote wipe, it disables the abililty to locate the phone with Find My iPhone.

I am having trouble with people understanding me on iPhone 5c.

I am having an issue with my new iPhone 5c with the people I talk to. They say my voice is garbled or muffled sounding and difficult to understand what I say. I have replaced the phone with another new one and already I am hearing complaints about it doing the same thing. People notice if I switch to the right side of my head that it improves. Anyone else having problems with being understood? I am a male with a deep, baritone voice. My wife has the same phone and people do not have issues understanding her. Any thoughts of why this is an issue? I never had problems with my cheap flip phone that preceded this Apple iPhone 5c.

I have only had one call since the new phone....I will give it a few days to see how it works in some more time. Apple support via the phone said they noticed my first phone was not as clear as my wife's. I had used hers to do the reset on mine and trouble shoot issues on mine while I talked with the rep from Apple. Yes, we use the same carrier.....it is a hometown one, but I believe they use Sprint towers for their cells.
I will keep plugging at it until I find a solution .....I may take it to the city and have the Apple store there look into it? I live 100 miles so it may be some time before I can get down there to have them analyze the problem.

Having trouble with syncing calendars between iPhone 5s, iPad, MacBook Pro after changing apple id

I signed out of an old apple id on my iPhone 5s and signed in with a current apple id. Backed up my iPhone to the cloud. After this, I lost the calendar information on my MacBook Pro (Phone and MacBook Pro used to have calendars that were synced). I also signed in to an iPad with this current apple id. I have checked the apple id that I am signed into on all 3 devices (iPhone 5s, MacBook Pro, iPad 2) and it is the same on all 3. The phone has my calendar info. The MacBook Pro and the iPad are blank, but they do communicate because I can send a test appointment and it will show up on the MacBook Pro and the iPad but not the phone.
Contacts were not affected. I have the contacts on all three devices.
I have gone thru most of the troubleshooting on the apple website.

Yes its all correct. I have just discovered that a separate calendar was set up with incorrect settings from the originator. I have checked all my settings and I'm good to go. thanks for your response

Having trouble with old calendar events being resent to recipients directly from iCloud?

I use an iPad2 and have limited iCloud services turned on. Somehow, iCloud is reinviting my wife and daughter to a couple reoccuring events I set up in 2006. It has sent each one over a dozen times. The messages have my email but reference that these are iCloud invitations. Odd since I do not have iCloud turned on for calendar items.
I use Outlook 2011 on my Macs and they tie to a corporate Exchange server.
Anyone seeing anything similar?

Then, if you’re using iCloud to store your contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and notes, don’t also sync them to your device using iTunes. I use iCloud and have no sync selections selected in the iTunes Info panes for my iDevices.

I was just adding a date into my calendar and I all of a sudden lost 75% of the info I had in there for 2012 and 2013? Any one have any ideas?

System data is the OS or operating system. That is where the recovery stays separated from the rest of the storage so that it doesn't get corrupted. It is not accessible and non-movable.

Push stopped working on the 9th. I'm using yahoo. Just wondering if any else is having a issue. Also not working on sons iPod touch. He has yahoo also. This happened right after the update to 5.0.1 months back. Then it started back working. So I'm really confused why it stopped working now. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks for the reply but I would think they would send a email letting us know that you would have to have the plus account. Talked to yahoo customer service on Twitter and they didn't mention this. They took my info and said they would be in touch. Last time it took them a couple of days to fix but who knows. Thanks again.

ok this is getting a little ridiculous we have 3 ipad mini's and 1 iphone in our household and everyone of the usb cords breaks at the plug that goes into the devices. The latest is my wifes iphone cord and the phone is only 3 weeks old. what gives apple? Never had a problem with the older style cords. Bad thing is they charge a small fortune fo these cords.

I have three non-working cords as well. The cable is so flimsy at the connector. If enough people complain then maybe Apple will try creating a better product! They should issue some credit or send customers a new cord.

Pressing Menu and Center Button for about 10 secs till the Apple Logo comes ON then release the buttons.
Select your language.
Check the sound.

Having trouble with App Store Updates on iPhone 4

My App Store icon on my iPhone 4 shows 4 updates to be done. When I click on App Store and Updates nothing happens. All other options (Featured/TopCharts/Search etc.) work fine. Just updates seems to hang - no message received. I recently upgraded to ios 6.1. Anyone else experiencing update problems? Any ideas how to fix. Have tried rebooting the phone. No change. Also tried syncing to iTunes on my Mac - synced OK but did not fix the updates problem.

OK - I found a helpful post - closed app store app and under Settings/General/Date and Time I reset the date and time by switching off "Set Automatically" and then switching it on again. Went back to App Store, launched it and Updatesseems to be working again.
Go figure? Logical, No!

I am having trouble with my calendar and icloud.
Customers send me meeting invites and I can accept them no problem. But if they subsequently change the date or time I get an error message:
Access to “appointment name” in “Home” in account “iCloud” is not permitted.
The server responded:
“403”
to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation
sometimes the time changes in my calendar, sometimes it doesn't, and my customers keep getting messages back from icloud 'accepting' the original date, not the changed date!!
It is driving me an my clients crazy! any help would be appreciated.
