I am having trouble with the App Store with regards to Logic X 10.0.7

Hi, I just bought Logic X and it says that it is installed under my purchases but I cannot find it anywhere on my Mac. Am I missing out on anything?

It should be in the Apps folder. Have you looked to see it listed in LaunchPad?

    I have never experienced that or read about it either but before you resort to restoring - and that may be what you have to end up doing - try the basics first.
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    Sometimes just restarting the iPad can really help. The resolution may end up being more complicated, but try the simple things and then move on.

  • I am having trouble in the app store after upgrading to iPhone 5 and iOS 6

    I am having trouble since upgrading from iPhone 4s to iPhone 5.  The "restore" feature never completed after activation of the new phone (it was close, only "find my iphone" app did not complete - it looked like it is forever trying to download).  But now, when I have tried to update apps, or even purchase new (free or paid) apps, the store does not let me.  It flashes error messages on my screen so quickly they cannot be read (the first is something about signing in to the store with an apple ID).  I have seen other similar threads and have tried logging out and into the app store from the settings menu.
    I also cannot get any of my music to transfer to the iPhone (from the icloud).  It seems to be trying to but I just get the spinning wheel of death.
    Any thoughts or help out there would be much appreciated.

    First thing I would recommend is to check your downloads queue to make sure there is not an interrupted download per the following Knowledge Base article:

    If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    1. From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
    2. For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
    3. Enter your account name and password if prompted.
    4. Tap the blue download arrow to resume.
    If you can't complete the download on your iOS device, you can download it in iTunes on your Mac or PC and then sync it to your iOS device. You can also transfer purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer.
    For Apps, you can also try tapping on the application icon to resume the download, as outline in this featured discussion:

    Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
    Make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the App Store or iTunes Store.
    If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    I am cannot access the iTunes store via iTunes on my PC and also can not update to 10.6.3.  It keeps telling me that my connection has times out and/or check my settings.  There is nothing wrong with my setting.  I am also having trouble with the app store on my iPhone 4s and can not update apps.
    I have signed out of itunes and now cannot sign in again.

    When I go to the App Store it comes up with Fidelity Investments with the option to open, the problem is I'm trying to get into the App Store but I can't do anything

    Try reset iPad
    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    Note: Data will not be affected.

    purchased apps and music are forever associated with the itunes account/ID that was used when the purchase was made.  If you change ID on a device, then you'll get the prompts because the apps are from a different ID.
    Either put up with this, or (using the ID that you want to use in the future) buy the items again.
    As for the account (itunes or icloud) that a device is currently using, go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account then enter a different account if that's what you want.
    For itunes, go to Settings>itunes & apps Stores, tap the account name on the next page, then choose log off (or whatever the option is called).  Like icloud, you can then log into a different itunes store account.

  • HT204266 iPad works except I cannot access anything at the App Store (Also I have 'no service' in the top left corner that will not change even if I switch the airplane mode on/off)

    Recently, my iPad has stopped allowing any functions to be performed in the App Store. I can access but cannot update or acquire any apps.
    The rest of the iPad appears to be working other than the 'no service' in the topleft corner. I tried to change that by switching the airplane mode on/off with no luck.

    Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store.
    Quit the App Store if it's open.
    Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
    Type or copy paste the following:
    ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
    Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
    Relaunch the App Store and try purchasing Logic Pro X.
    BTW, we have no way of knowing exactly the solutions you've tried that didn't work unless you tell us

    I'm glad that I can get some help over here. I'm from United Arab Emirates. I have an account in the itunes app store with no payment method registered yet. First of all, I tried before to register my visa debit card but it failed to work. Anyway, I read some product from the Arab Bank called 'Internet shopping card' and they said it's acceptable to sites that enroll visa logo. So, I have an idea that the app store just accept the credit card method, and I don't know if this right or wrong.   • Just uploaded mountain lion and now it won't let me buy Logic Pro X in the App store. Error 100 over and over again.

    I was trying to get logic pro X. It's not letting me purchase it after updating.

    Its almost impossible to understand what it is you are trying to do or have problems with unless one can see the whole picture. Parts of the code are not helpful.

    So i redeemed an Apple gift card worth £70 to my itunes account but i want to use it in the App Store to pay towards Logic Pro X. I can't find a way to transfer the credit, or find any evidence that its spendable in the app store.
    Has anyone had the same problem?

    When you purchase iTunes content, the balance from your gift card will be deducted automatically.
