I am hoping someone can help. My husband and I share an iPhone acct. when we updated to iso7 my photostream loaded onto his phone. My question is, if he turns off the photostream on his phone and deletes will it remove the pics from mine to?

You got the new iphone????? I have same problem. I transferred audiobooks to device to find no audiobooks on device (despite it being in iTunes as if it was). Have you found a solution????? I even tried to change import settings on format transfer but hasn't worked.

Hopefully someone can help.... I have an Iphone 5 and want to create a music video playlist on my phone so then i can play through my apple tv... but when i make a playlist in itunes and try to add it over to my iphone it wont let me sync the playlist...? I have already added the music videos to my iphone so that is not the problem.... i cant seem to figure out how to make a playlist for them... IE: to make the videos play consecutively in the order i want without stopping after each video and gong back to the list.... this is what i have had to resort to make it work....what i want to do....is be able to make a playlist of videos on my iphone 5....take my apple tv to friends houses and with wifi....set up apple tv and play videos at the party and not have to stand by with the remote and find a new video to play stopping the music between the songs/videos....very annoying....and have spent over 4 hours one day and an hour and a half today on the phone today with a sr. advisor with apple and they have no clue.... this seems sooooo simple.... please somebody that really knows how to do this....i will be indebted forever...............

Hi, I'm new at this but I am hoping someone can help me.I have recently been away for 5 weeks and my Tom Tom required updating.When I clicked to update it, it required a pc. As I didn't have access to a pc it wouldn't work is there any way to do this without a pc? I was without this app for 3 weeks! Thanks, Lea
The process to update your Tom Tom is a big data file, you will need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network for it to download. If will take about an hour.

Whenever I try to start itunes it asks me to accept terms and conditions and then when i click "agree" to continue nothing else happens and it won't open.
I recently had to re-install itunes as it wouldn't work when i connected my new iphone.
Any help would be much appreciated as I have been trying to resolve this for weeks and it is getting increasingly frustrating.

Since upgrading to Aperture 3.3, when I try to sync photos to my iPhone, I'm getting all versions in a stack loading onto my phone, which makes for some ugly pics, as well as taking up nearly double the space.
Could it be the problem lies with iTunes and not Aperture? iTunes 10.6.3 was released on the same day as Aperture 3.3 -- June 11.
If someone has a configuration to test an older version of Aperture with iTunes 10.6.3 to see if the problem exists, that could be helpful. -

It sounds like one of your preferences has changed.
Go to preferences > audio > general, and make sure "track mute/solo" is set to "CPU saving (slow response)". It is probably set to "Fast " at the moment.
This setting (fast) basically causes immediate muting from the channel strip while your song is in play. This is because the audio is still being read from the hard drive, but the channel strip is simply muted.... like a hardware mixer. When set to "CPU saving", the audio from that track, when muted, is actually stopped from streaming from the hard drive, but there is a couple second delay before the audio is actually muted.
One would think that the fast setting is generally preferable, except when you need to do what you are doing. The only way to keep duplicate copies of channel strips acting independent of one another is to leave this setting on the "CPU saving" setting.

Also closing the App Store app and doing a reset might help. To close the App Store app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the App Store 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the App Store app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
To reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Please help... it seems all is lost as all I kind find on this subject seem to lead to nowhere. My engagement was on imovie, a school project, several videos of our son. You will have to hold my hand through this process... as I am not very good at this type of thing. I believe I have deleted all the necessary plist files and moved my projects and events to a folder on my desktop. imovie has been upgraded to version 9.0.9... Yes this can be many things - and I can only guess/suggest.
A. a very common origin to make the Mac un-happy is to - PANIC-HALT - when the round multicolored thing appear.
So much can go wrong by doing this - and if done often problem builds up that can result in a real disaster.
B. NEVER - move or alter any folder named - iMovie Event's resp. iMovie Project's - as iMovie has no search function - moving them results in that iMovie get's 100% lost.
One can move them - but this HAS TO BE done within the iMovie application (as it is up and running)
C. preference files - there are TWO or more Libraries on Your Mac. First and easy to find is the one You see when opening Your Start-Up Hard Disk window = Root Library == the WRONG ONE
What we need to find is the one in Your User-Account folder (icon as a house) - and this is in Mac OS X.7, X.8 and X.9 HIDDEN. To see it do:
( It can be done like this: Open Terminal, then enter:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press return, then restart, and it will always be visible until the next major update, when you do the same thing again. )
or - do like this.
On the Finder window at the top left of the screen,
Hold down the Option key and clicked on Go.
This allowed You to see the Library folder and select it.
Then keep the Option button pressed down in order to see and select the Library folder.
Once found it, You are able to navigate to the iMovie preferences file and move it to the trash. iMovie then start’s up fine!
Now here in Your User Library - find Preferences and trash
com.apple.iMovie.plist
com.apple.iMovie3.plist
com.apple.iMovie7.plist
com.apple.iMovie8.plist
com.apple.iMovie9.plist
com.apple.iMovieApp.plist
and find
com.apple.iApps.plist
While iMovie is NOT RUNNING - move this/these file/s out on to desk-top.
Now restart iMovie.
I Prefere another way to find out if this is the problem.
(after all folders (iMovie Event/Projects are moved into original place)
• go up to Apple Menu
• Down to System Pref's
• Select Accounts - Create a new User
• Go down the Apple menu - Log OUT
• Log into as the new User
Now try iMovie
Does it work at all ? (Yes You don't see Events or Projects in Your original Account just now)
If so - Then we know that there is a corrupted pref file to be trashed.
Else - the problem are much more severe.
D. After Panic Halt / Forced Quit - I always do -. to keep disasters on arms length.
• Repair Permissions (Apple Disk Util tool)
• Start from other HD or DVD - then run Repair Hard Disk (Apple Disk Util tool)

oh and ive tried publishing to almost everything. straight to idvd, to media browser, i tried both hd qualities and also the large quality. no luck with any of those

Hello all, this is my first post on these forums. I have an interesting problem with my Blackberry Curve 8330, and should be a fun thing to troubleshoot. About a month ago I dropped and broke my phone, paid $100 to Asurian (sprint insurance) and they sent me a new phone. I used the Desktop Manager and copied over everything from old phone onto new phone they sent me. Now here is where the crazy part comes in. Whenver I'm at work, some of my keys dont work correctly. It took me forever to pinpoint when it was happening, and for a while I thougth I was fixing it by removing battery and restarting. But, here goes: After I'm at work for about an hour, the trackball key when pushed types #*, the B key types 2 other letters, N types 2 other letters, M types 2 other letters, and Del key types 2 other letters. I'm not at work right now so I dont know exaclty what those 2 keys are. So anyways, I thought the phone they send me was wrong, and at that time I didnt realize it was happenign only at work and I thoguth i was fixing it temporarly by rebooting phone. So they then sent me a replacement for that. Copied everythign over onto new phone (2nd phone from Asurion). And heres the crazy part, while I'm at work, the same exact issue happens! After I leave work, about 30 minutes later, the phone will resume normal functionality. So, I thought maybe copying from the old phone to the new phone, maybe I had copied something bad and something got corrupted. I completely wiped this phone, and sure enough, still does it while I'm at work. I'm at a loss as to what to do here. On both phones, while I'm at work when I press the trackball key to enter it types # *, and all the other disfucntional keys (b,n,m,del) t yped the exact same letters. There is no water damage whatsoever, since for 14 hours a day the phone works just fine. Then the 10 hours I'm at work those 5 keys don't work. I'm not sure what to do here, since if Asurian sends me a 3rd phone I have a feeling it will do the same thing. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated! I'm also interested if anyone has ever heard of something simliar to this before.

Ryan ZimmermanHow strange that things should only go awry at your work. The fact that the same thing happens on two different Berries, even after you wiped and installed a fresh OS on the last one, and all in the same place, makes it seem that it has to be something in your work environment causing the problem, perhaps some kind of electromagnetic interference? That's the only thing I could guess.
