Onto all of my other device. Is all of the music in iCloud safe if I restore my MacBook?
I have an iPhone and an iMac. There is a lot of music that I have downloaded from iCloud onto both devices – however, not all. My question is: will the songs that have not been downloaded onto my iMac from iCloud be lost if I restore the computer that was the original location of all of that music?
I agree with Keith about using the Target Disk Mode, Transferring files between two computers using FireWire. This way there's no chance of errors due to dropouts using the wireless connection.
According to MacTracker your early 2009 Macbook does have a Firewire 400 connector which should do the job very well.

I created an alias precisely because I wanted to make it the new default name and then quickly realized it wasn't possible. How long after deleting the alias will it become available again so that I can create a new account with it?
I'm trying to make iCloud mail my primary email but I'm concerned that I may have lost the perfect email address forever.I have the same problem. After our wedding I've created an alias ([email protected]) to my actual AppleID Account ([email protected]). Now I'd the idea to delete the alias and my actual AppleID to create a new AppleID with ([email protected]).
Is there really no possibilty to do this?

How do i get all of my music back to my phone from icloud?
Recently had to restore my phone for unknown reasons but now that i have it going again all of my music has a cloud with an arrow pointing down on it..which i know means it has to be downloaded from icloud. Is there any way i can do them all at once rather than doing them one by one?
You can download entire albums and playlists by selecting them and tapping the download symbol at the top.

You can redownload most iTunes purchases directly to the iPod by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise you will have to sync from your iTunes library. -

And only two weeks ago I decided to purchase an iMac computer OS X Maverick, and there are a lot of files and information I would like to bring to the Mac, but I'm having problems playing my music file, suited to the PC but not with iMac as yet. Robert KlaassenWMA files are 'window media audio' files, which is a Microsoft format. If you want to add them to your iTunes library on your Mac then you will need to convert them into a compatible format first. If you still have your windows machine then iTunes for Windows can convert them from WMA to MP3 format : https://discussions.apple.com/message/24158701#24158701

I recommend to check www.icloud.com, are your contacts shown there?
If not -> Something might be not set up correctly on you iOS devices.
Also.. Simple but maybe occuring: Contacts -> Preferences -> Accounts -> iCloud is enabled? (Should be by default if you have iCloud setup via the system preferences, but you never know..) -

If you are a resident of the U.S. you can re download past iTunes purchases for free. If not, (going by your username), restore from a back up.

I have the wrong icloud account on my ipad. If I go in and hit the red delete account button in settings of icloud will it just remove it from my ipad or remove it completely since it is on other devices
It only deletes if from this device, not from iCloud. Other devices still using the account will not be effected by this.

while I was updating my ipod touch to ios 6 the battery got drained during the process, i tried restoring it, it couldnt now my ipod is stuck on the Apple logo screen.
Can anyone help me with this issue???Connect your iTouch to your PC then open iTunes, if iTunes does not recognize your device, try to hold the SLEEP Button and the HOME button at the same time (iPod Reset) for a couple of seconds until the "Charging Tone sounds, now you should be seeing your device name in the iTunes " Device List". If you do, just click RESTORE and iTunes will automatically restore your iTouch to original set-up and download the iOS6 update.

You can however share or import content from another library/account using homesharing. -
I sent an email from my iPhone 3GS (via iCloud account) with around 16GB of attachment. It slowed down the phone for a few seconds, then appeared to be sent. However, the message is now not in the sent box, and I can't see an outbox at all. Any ideas?
That changes things a little bit , login to icloud.com and see if you can find it in your sent folder.
If it is there you did send, just need to wait until you phone syncs "sent folder" perhaps on wifi.
If it is not, then I would say it is lost and you may have to send again. They have 20 megs limit, so make sure that message plus attachment is under that limit.
