that's not freeware. you are (legally) allowed to use adobe's audition 3.0 that needs no activation only if you purchased an audition 3.0 license (long ago).

You are encountering an issue that applies to most of the CS2 and earlier versions of Adobe products. If you don't mind moving up one version you should be able to acquire and install Audition 3 in place of the version you have. I believe your version qualifies you for this - someone else had the same problem this past week and they were successful getting version 3 as a replacement. Just follow the instructions on the following page:

I have no idea what that message means; try uninstalling using http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html then download and reinstall the latest Reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

This problem is on my laptop running Vista ( Business) on Adobe 10.0 , for many years I did NOT have a problem with this . No forum Pages on this.
Also i would like to know how screen readers can better interact with PDF as my wife has difficultys on some email attachments on her laptop , again there seems no easy avenue for someone in her situation surfing websites and forums for Hours maybe ok ok for sighted people, but not if you are blind & use a screenreader. No Support Help from Adobe is available.

I can't install adobe audition

Program started freezing a lot at commands a couple of days ago and wouldn't let me convert to mp3 it would just crash no longer how long i waited it out and come up with error need to terminate program so i deleted the program from drag and drop into the recycling bin and then completely deleted, download assistant and manager now tell me it's still installed, no audition is not in the add or remove programs i also tried a third party uninstaller but nothing is working.
Can anyone help please?

This is my first time here. This morning, I installed the CS6 upgrade that I received from my school. Everything installed except for Adobe Audition. I don't know if I ever need to use the program but I want to install it. How do I get Adobe Audition to install successfully? Thank you.

I'm sorry, I didn't think to copy the error information. This morning, I received an Adode Updater message and I clicked on the update button. After the update was over, the update page said that Adobe Audition was one of the programs that updated successfully. However, it also said the following didn't update successfully:

How to install adobe reader to four android tablets. Do I need four different google accounts?

I have to install adobe reader to four tablets. I have a google account and was able to install adobe reader to the first tablet. When I tried the install reader to the second tablet it says it is already Installed. Will I have to make up accounts for the other three tablets?

Hi Rick,
I can understand your concern & will help you to get this issue resolved.
You simply need to click on option where it shows Installed.
Once you click on it at the bottom you will get the option to choose the devices.
Please select you device & Click on Install as shown below in the screenshot.
Perform the same step on all the other devices.

Since all Adobe software is downloadable as a free trial, the Serial Number is what you are purchasing, and it identifies itself with YOU (IF you register your purchase, that is).
Moral of the story: "always keep your original software materials."

Problems installing Adobe Audition

Has anyone else had trouble installing Audition from the provided downloads?? My installer starts, asks for language.. English, but then disapears. No further prompts and the wizard never launches.
I've been able to install the other programs short of After Effects and Encore which still have not been provided but can not get this installer to run. Is there something I am missing?

I have just tried to install Audition 3.0 on a new machine which is running Windows 7 64-bit. I have just upgraded a production machine which was running Windows XP where all was sweet and rosy....
Anyway, my experience was *exactly* the same as yours, i.e. I had to dig into the install directory to find something that would run (components.exe) and I too experienced the write to memory error! It also 'completed' the install but I was suspicious. Needless to say, when I try to run it and the splash screen comes up, it is quickly followed by the 'couldn't find a supported audio device' which is mentioned quite often in Audition land. I am not sure if this is down to the funny memory error upon installation, or whether it's a 64 bit driver - 32 bit software type of thing. I can't uninstall it either which makes it hard to repeat the experiment....
I've been trying to avoid upgrading, purely for reasons of operator familiarity with version 3.0, but the more I read, the more flaky the combo of Win7/64 and AA 3.0 appears to be.
I was amazed to read that you experienced exactly the same behaviour when you tried to install on Win8 - so I am curious, did it work when you tried to run it?
(the trial of Audition CS6 runs fine, so I know I do have an 'out')
