I am just a simpleton trying to get my Flash download to my MAC 10.6

Can someone in simple terms help me figure out how to get the Flash to work on my MAC. I am not a computer person and have spent the afternoon trying to figure it out. Can anyone out there help me?????

You can purchase Audio books in the iTunes Store App and they will be downloaded for playing in the Music App.

Hello everybody, good news: after upgrading to Mountain Lion 10.8.5 I've been able to run the installer and all went fine.
Mountain Lion allows user to force execution through the context-menu (CTRL-click) Open command and it does work, just that simple.
So my advice is: if you want to install or re-install Flash Builder 4.6 on a Mac with Lion installed, upgrade to Mountain Lion or better to avoid problems.
Apple introduced some (not all) Gatekeeper functionalities in 10.7.3 and following, but apparently you need a full-fledged 10.8 to have also what you need to circumvent a Revoked Certificate error.
Since usually OS X has auto updating active, if you are running Lion you end up with 10.7.5 and won't install FB46. If you manage somehow to hold 10.7.2 I suppose you should be able to install FB46, sincerely I didn't check it out. Anyway it's simpler and safer to move on to 10.8.x.

There is no support for Flash in any iDevice by Apple.
There are however 3rd party Apps in the App Store that claim to have Flash support. You can try browsers such as Puffin

So I'm trying to get a window to fit my mac. Its a window on pokerstars if that helps, so no minimize/maximize. The window is actually too long vertical ways to fit the screen so the bottom is cut off? I hid bottom toolbar but still no help :-/ any help?

Numbers is a joke compared to Excel. If I were you I would find a class/tutorial first, find out what they use (and it won't be Numbers) and see if you need the Mac or Windows version of Excel. Note that Excel is not sold as a seperate product from the Microsoft Office suites.

hi i was just wondering how do i get rid of viruses?! Everytime i go on safari my computer goes all weird and starts to pop up with other internet sites without me even typing it in. My arrow also starts to click on all things that i didn't even click on and opens up apps that i didn't want?!

There are several possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried until it's resolved. Some may not be applicable.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article, and also this one, if applicable.
2. Open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check for unknown or forgotten input devices. Disconnect any USB input devices that you aren't using.
3. Boot in safe mode and test, preferably without launching any third-party applications. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, but it comes back when you reboot as usual, stop here and post your results. If you can't boot in safe mode, do the same. If you booted in safe mode and there was no change, go on to the next step.
4. Reset the System Management Controller.
5. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
6. A swollen battery in a MacBook Pro or Air can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced without delay.
7. Press down all four corners of the trackpad at once and release. If there's any effect, it's likely to be temporary, and the unit needs to be serviced or replaced.
8. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built-in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.
9. There's also a report of erratic cursor movements caused by an external display that was connected but not turned on.
10. If none of the above applies, or if you have another reason to think that your computer is being remotely controlled, remove it from the network by turning off Wi-Fi (or your Wi-Fi access point), disconnecting from a Bluetooth network link, and unplugging the Ethernet cable or USB modem, whichever is applicable. If the cursor movements stop at once, you should suspect an intrusion.
11. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine and/or external trackpad tested.

Newbie trying to get a flash ad swf to loop

Hello,
I am a designer trying my hand at flash animated ads for the first time and can't do what is probably the simplest function imaginable. There is a tile ad on ingoodfaithwyoming.com toward the bottom of every page. It's a simple ad but I cannot export the swf so it loops. I tried creating a new layer and putting in a go to and play (1) on the last frame but it hasn't helped. I asked a buddy who is used to cs3 and he said it is in the publish settings, I am on cs4 and can find no such setting except in the html side, which does me no good as I have to use swf for the site's system. Please help.

Hahahaha, so I tried the go to and play 1, uploaded it and so no change which is when I came here... However I never cleared teh cache for the site. Once I cleared that out it was working correctly. Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it.

If you install the Mac version and the Mac meets the system requirements for Flash Pro it should work

So I just got my iphone, and i was trying to get it to download songs on my phone, when the phone suddenly died, and even though im charging it right now, it still won't turn on, been going on about 30 min to an hour now

Try a Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

I also set up an icloud account for this purpose, but I *still* cannot figure out how to move my address book from one computer to the other. When I'm on my mac and try to use bluetooth to export the address book, I'm able to find my ipad but I soon get a message that it does not support the necessary services. I have no idea what's going on and would appreciate any advice. tks in advance, Sarah

The address book syncs via iCloud, not Bluetooth or iTunes.
You upgraded to Lion so you could use iCoud.
On the computer. go to Apple menu > System prefs > iCloud.
Sign into your iCloud account.
Tick everything.
This enalbes the se items syncing to iCloud.
On the iPad, Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Create a new iCloud account.
Sign in with the same AppleID as your computer.
Settings > iCloud and turn everything on.
BAM!
That is all you need to do.
Your contacts (and all other checked items checked) will sync between computer and iPad.
No need to use iTunes

I have files from a windows quicktime player. i am trying to get them to play on my mac quicktime and it doesn't work. i have used flip player to try and export my files to iMovie and it will export but will not play on iMovie. help!

What are the file types? Are you just trying to view these video files? To watch video files that Quicktime doesn't support use VLC media player.

You could try one of the links andy posted, photobucket might be the easiest for a new user to use\
Once you have an account there and you upload your images you can post them to the FSM site
