I have now recently downloaded 10.0.2 which is confusing in itself, as, as far as I can ascertain that is actually version 11, but I'm not even sure about that.
Version 10.0.2 is the newest version and the successor to GarageBand '11 (version 6.0.5).
The '11 is referring to the iLife '11 suit of multimedia application - the older GarageBand was a part of this bundle.
Have a look at Edgar's graphical enhanced manuals, the explain very detailed how things work and why. You can buy them as iBooks from the iBook store or directly from the page:

Depending on which country that you are in then you might be able to re-download your purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . Otherwise, have you not got a backup of your purchases and content on, for example, an external drive ?

I was unable to view PDF files in Firefox and would get a blank screen telling me I needed to re-install Adobe. I did that and was still unable to view PDF files in the browser window or tab.
Now that I have upgraded to the most current version of Firefox I no longer have the Adobe Reader toolbar that used to be a toolbar above a PDF file when viewing in the browser window or tab. I don't have the printer icon, floppy disc icon, email icon, page arrows to scroll up or down, the percentage for size, etc. Is there a way to be able to have this toolbar again?I do not use Adobe Reader, but use Foxit Reader in its place, and had the same problem. In Foxit Reader, I right-clicked in the area at the top where you would expect the toolbar to be (it was a blank area immediately above the displayed PDF file), and chose which toolbars to display and that has "stuck" and I still see the Foxit toolbars when I load a PDF file after system shutdown overnight. The only problem is that the area where you would expect the toolbars is still there and blank, but the toolbars that I selected appear immediately below that blank area. See if that works in Adobe Reader for you.

I lost some music and I want to know how to get it back.
We have 2 iPhones and an iPod Touch all linked to the same iTunes account. When one of us downloads music and apps to the different devices, it does not always download it to our PC when we plug in. Some of the albums show up on the PC iTunes account, but won't let us play them. Now I have downloaded the latest software update for my iPhone and all my music that I had downloaded to the phone is gone and it cannot locate it. How do I get the albums back with out having to purchase them again? We have started to only download things on the PC and just plug the device in to add the items. I just want to know what to do about the previously purchased items.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc.
Use your backup to put everything back.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow it.

i bought a new ipod since my old one would not update. they are the exact same generation of ipod, just the new one is ios 6, but when i plug it up to my computer since my old ipod's info is backed up through my computer only, will restoring that reset my new ipod and send it back to the way my old one was?

See now I can't even see the rest of my question to finish writing it. Why is it so hard trying to log in to accts? Then if I have forgotten my password trying to reset it is almost impossible. Why so hard all the time?

hi i just bought the macbook pro and i wanted to know how i can transfer all my music on itunes from my old desktop to my new macbook?
Derek's right. To explain his second point more, you can mount your old Mac's hard drive on your new one and once you've done this you can simply drag your music folder over.
You can mount various ways, if you have a router and both are on your LAN network I believe u use the Go menu in your new Mac to mount your old one.
You can also use a cable directly between the two. I did this years agonwith ethernet but I bet USB or even FireWire is possible.
Once you get your music copied over, you may need to add your music into your Mac's iTunes.
Open iTunes and then select Add to Library and then find your music folder to add. You can add single songs or folders of songs or your entire folder of all songs. -

all my pictures in iPhoto got deleted and i don't know how to get them back so could anyone help me with that ??
We do need more information to help. Are the images gone from your iPhoto library, or is the iPhoto Library missing? How and when did this happen?
If images are missing from the library: Did you check for hidden photos? Did you check the iPhoto Trash?
If the pictures are still in the iPhoto Trash, open the Trash, select the images and and press the liitle arrow in the lower right corner - select "Put back".
If the pictures are still in an "iPhoto" folder in the system Trash (with sub folders named by date), import these folders to your iPhoto library.
Have you checked, if you have opened the correct iPhoto Library? Launch iPhoto with the options key held down, to select another Library.
If the entire Library is missing, have you searched for ".photolibrary" with spotlight?
Do have a backup?
If none of these easy measures helps, report back with more details - your iPhoto version, and anything else that might be helpful to find out, what the problem is. Don't do anything that changes the contents of your hard drive for now.

My computer has changed how it accepts photos from my phone. They used to post into a library by the month and year, e.g., "Feb 2014 photo stream," but now all of the photos from my phone for the past year or so are lumped together into the "Shared" section under "photo stream." I did not put them there (that I know of) and now don't know how to get them out and into a library where I can categorize them.
The monthly events "Feb2014" will show you all photos that have been imported from "My Photo STream", if you have enabled "Automatic Import" in the "Preferences > iCloud" tab.
The albums you are seeing under "iCloud" are the "Shared Photo Streams" and "My Photo Stream". To import from your "Shared Streams" drag the photos frommthe Shared Streams album to the Projects in the library panel. -

On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to: Notes
Then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data.

I want to know how to backup my library to a fixed backup drive rather than to a CD or DVD. I mostly have audiobooks in the library and my computer is running out of space. There are so many that copying them to a CD or DVD would be a horrendous waste of time and resources. Can you please help me?
