Hi All,
I am loading the into 0sd_c03 infocube.
But i am facing some problem while loading the data.
Requests (messages): Everything OK (Green color)
Extraction (messages): Errors occurred (Yellow)
Under this :
74626 Records sent(742626 Records received) it is in yellow color.
Transfor (IDOC and TRFC):Missing messages are warnings
Data Package 1 : arraived in BW ;Processing : Data packet not yet processed.
Update (0new/0changed) :warning received.
When i am check the ST22 It is dump.

What was the Dump, pls provide here...
Have u deleted the indexes before loading....or U can try with right clicking on each datapacket which was in yellow/red and select manual update...it takes sometime to finish and refresh later
Chk in SM58 also for any idocs pending, we have to push these and then manual update....

I m loading data to 0SD_C03 InfoCube and while executing the DTP I faced the erreur saying that the material data in the PSA (2LIS_11_VAITM) exceeds the length of the 0MATERIAL InfoObject! knowing that the source field MATNR and the InfoObject 0MATERIAL have the same length = 18.
I tried also to load the master data into the 0MATERIAL InfoObject but the DTP fails ...

Through user exsit, I tried to modify the data from 2LIS_11_VAITM and replace the material number by another more short. in the InfoPackage selection, I restricted the data from 2 LIS_11_VAITM, plz see below:
When I execute the DTP to load data into 0SD_C03, it gives me the same error!!

Cannot load the data to infocube

Hi,
I am new to SAP BI.
I am loading the data from my flat file to infocube. Flat file contains product, qty, amount and units of Qty is EA and Amount is INR and the units or fixed. i need to have a Revenue field in the infocube and to populate that revenue field i am doing qty*amount in transformations using formula in transformations. My Revenue field unit is fixed currency INR. While loading data to infocube i can see error in DTP Monitor data cannot be loaded to cube. In DTP Monitor until Transformations it is showing in green and while loading to cube it is showing red color and making the whole request as red. But wthout this revenue field i can load the data to infocube correctly.
Can any one please suggest me the things what i was doing wrong.

Error while loading data into Customers InfoCube

Hi All,
I am receicing the following error while loading the data into the following InfoCube 0SD_C01.
The error I am receiving is "LIS Updating is Still Active".
I am also receiving error similar to "The data is being edited at the time of loading the data request".
Does anybody have encountered such a situation...
Please help me out.

I went through the Transactions and found out that the Asynchronous Updating is going on for S001.
So what are the steps that I can take as a BW Consultant so that the data is loaded into BW.

How to load data into an infocube from a flat file

HI friends,
Iam a learner of bw.
I have master and transaction data to load into an info cube.
I think we can load master data first, and then transaction data. that is master data we have to load through direct or flexible update and then transaction data through flexible update by preparing 2 excel sheets( one for master data and other for transaction data)
Or
can we load both at a time by preparing a single excel sheet which covers the values of characteristic, attributes and key figures.

You don't need to worry about 0DF_C07 as it was defence cube not activated during your Business Content Activaiton.
YOu can create your own infopackage for 2LIS_03_BX and there will be option generate intial status.
This loading will create your Opening Balance.
you need to compress this with NO Marker UPDATE option unchecked(as you will have to update hte marker).
After this load movements 2LIS_03_BF and reval 2LIS_03_UM. Compress this with NO MARKER UPDATE option checked.

Steps for loading data into the infocube in BI7, with dso in between

Dear All,
I am loading data into the infocube in BI7, with dso in between. By data flow looks like....
Top to bottom:
InfoCube (Customized)
Transformation
DSO (Customized)
Transformation
DataSource (Customized).
The mapping and everything else looks fine and data is also seen in the cube on the FULL Load.
But due to some minor error (i guess), i am unable to see the DELTA data in DSO, although it is loaded in DataSource through process chains.
Kindly advise me, where did i miss.
OR .. Step by step instructions for loading data into the infocube in BI7, with dso in between would be really helpful.

Hi,
my first impulse would be to check if the DSO is set to "direct update". In this case there is no Delta possible, because the Change log is not maintained.
My second thought would be to check the DTP moving data between the DSO and the target cube. If this is set to full, you will not get a delta. It is only possible to create one DTP. So if you created one in FULL mode you can't switch to Delta. Just create the DTP in Delta mode.

Bit strange requirement. But if you have data in Cube and automatically its will be available for Reporting. unlike ODS, we do not have option of "Automatic request activation".
However on repoeting side, you can restrict the values to # and exclude everything from slection. But not good solution as such.

Load data from an infocube into other infocube

Hi guys....i try to load data from an infocube to other infocube.....i generated the infosource for export without problems i can visulize the datasource in my BW System assigned well...but how i can run the extraction from one infocube into the other?
I view that in ODSs there's an option to run load of data into datatargets but in the infocube i can´t find this option......
is there anything else to do?

The Infosurce and Datasource was linked automatically i can see this in Source System Myself but i can´t see it in Infosources Tab and i can´t create a Infopackage....that´s my problem

Data Load into 0FIAP_C03 - InfoCube consuming very long time

I'm loading data into the InfoCube - 0FIAP_C03 from the DSO - 0FIAP_O03. On a daily basis I delete the contents of this InfoCube and reload full data.
In the DTP monitor I can see that the step 'Overlapping check with archived data areas for InfoProvider 0FIAP_C03' under 'Updating to InfoCube 0FIAP_C03 : 50000 -> 50000 Data Records' for each Data Package is taking the most amount of time. It is generally true that the step 'Overlapping check with archived data areas for InfoProvider <Cube_Name>' takes the most time. But is there any specific reason for this? Also, is there any thing that can be done to reduce the time taken to execute this step?

Ideally it should not take much time-
I think the reasons would be:
1) Volume of data in Source DSO
2) Complex logic in Srart/Field/End routine
3) Cube Index (Delete cube index before load)
Also check the dimension design of your infocube --> SE38 --> SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS

ABAP short dump when loading data into Infocube

I am getting an ABAP short dump error when loading data into Infocube. I tried to load data from PSA and ODS.
I ran the code to compress the Infocube, no improvement still getting the same error.
Error Analysis:
A raise statement in the program "SAPLRSDU_PART" raised in the exception.
Internal Notes:
The termination occured in the function "ab_i fune" of the SAP Basis system. Specifically in the line 2316 of the module "//bas/620/src/krn/runt/abfunc. C#18".
The internal operation just processed is "FUNE"

try to run program SAP_DROP_EMPTY_FPARTITIONS to display existing partitions. Then compare it to the number of uncompressed requests. Maybe there's a mismatch.

Cannot load data into infocube in BW NW2004s sneak preview

For BW with NW2004s preview.
I can load data into PSA but there is an error happens when loading data from PSA to infocube using DTP. The error is as 'Join table TESTDATRNRPART0 does not exist - read SAP note 871084'. In note 871084, it says the SP05 fix the problem. But I check the status of the BW server, it is 'release 700 / level 0005 / highest support package SAPKW0005'.
Does it mean the BW server has SP05?

Thanks for the information. I checked in SM58. For today it shows 4 TRFC. 1 with user bwremote and 3 with user BASIS(the user i am logged in as). All have error saying "An exception occurred that was uncaught".
I also tried to reschedule the Data for the infopackage alone. We are having 3 infopackages in the process chain and I tried iwth one of them.
When i scheduled it, the Infocube -> Manage shows the status of the request as Yellow. When i try to see the Load monitor, it displays the same message as I saw yesterday.
In Extraction Phase it shows
Extraction (messages): Errors Occured
Data Request recieved - green
Data selection scheduled - green
41 Records Sent (41 Records received_) - yellow
Data Package1(41 records): Missing Messages - yellow
Date Selection ended - green
Transfer (Idocs and TRFC) Missing messages or warnings
Data package1: arrived in BW: processing: data packet not yet processed
Info IDOC1,2,3,4 are all green
Update PSA, Transfer Rules and Update rules are all green
Update (0 new/0 changed) : warning recieved
message missing: update finished for 0TCT_C21
Please let me know what could be the possible issue

Runtime error while loading data into infocube

I am getting a runtime error while loading the transaction data into the InfoCube.
Exception name: CX_SY_GENERATE_SUBPOOL_FULL
Runtime error: GENERATE_SUBPOOL_DIR_FULL

Step by step procedure for loading data from flat file.
1. Create the infoobjects you might need in BI
2. Create your target infoprovider
3. . Create a source system
4. Create a datasource
5. Create and configure an Infopackage that will bring your records to the PSA
6. Create a transformation from the datasource to the Infoprovider
7. Create a Data Transfer Process (DTP) from the datasource to the Infoprovider
8. Schedule the infopackage
9. Once succesful, run the DTP
10. This will fill your target.
