I am locked out of my iPod touch and i can't restore it as it asks for my password which i don't know how do i unlock it?
I am locked out of my iPod and it says i cannot restore or back up due to me needing to unlock it and obviously i don't have my password. Please help, how do i unlock it?
Options for when an iOS device gets locked because of forgotten password:
Restore (and reset password) on your device by connecting it to the last computer to which it was connected:

If you cannot connect it to the computer to which the device was last connected you will have to use recovery mode to completely reset the device, losing all data:

2.Go to "My Computer" And click the apporiate drive your your iPod.

6.Then there is a file there named"_Unlocked"
7.Open that up with a text editor (Notepad) and viola the passcode is right there. -

SInce it is not your syncing computer you can only restore to factoy defaults/new iPod. It will be like it was when you originlly purchased the iPod.
If you had a backup you could restore from that backup. The backup is located here. You may have to turn on showw hidden files.

I looked online for more help but to no avail. I tried to find the file on My Computer and to plug it into iTunes but it says that it cannot connect because it is foreign to the computer, since I just got the computer. I have absolutley no idea what to do!
From the limited amount of information you provided it sounds like the iPod was previously synced to another computer. You need to place the iPod in recovery mode and connect to the computer and restore via iTunes. For recovery mode see:

Your MacBook Pro doesn't have HDMI output... it's DVI. For sound, you will need to use the headphone out/optical digital audio out port to the TV/stereo. As far as video goes, I'm confused as to what cable you're using but at one point you're converting DVI to HDMI.

Recently my iPod touch 4th gen. was stolen. I have had it for two years, so I don't have a warranty on it anymore. I reported it to the police, but what will apple do? This one kid reported to them that his was stolen and they gave him a new one. Will they do the same for me? Is there any other way I can get all my pictures from my iPod without iCloud set up? Is the camera damaged? Could be a hardware problem.
Try:
Close the Camera app in the multitasking bar, then try again.
