I'am looking for Firefox 4 web browser to download.

I am having trouble with this web site because it has a lot of pop's which my work use's this web base software. And the company said that at this time the web site only supports Firefox 4 or Internet explorer 8. I am trying to download Firefox 4 but I can not find it any were on the internet. I need Help finding Firefox 4 browser.

Firefox 3.0 versions are no longer supported. If you need that particular version for a Backboard powered website, you should use Portable Firefox which can easily be installed on your hard drive, and it won't interfere with your current 3.6.10 installation.

I didn't find addons to circumvent this, either.

personally avoid scaling, especially filling up user window.
more and more really high resolution monitors out there,
the larger the screen the more CPU it sucks...
Don't follow the exact screen size like 800x600 as it is
never the
browser ratio, must consider the browser chromes.
I will design something within that size or slightly larger
and use the
around margin to incorporate graphics as part of the design.
Sometimes even smaller than that and centralized. Depends on
amount
of content.

We do not have a phone # for technical support unfortunately. There are issues with Norton Toolbar causing Firefox to crash; This has been fixed in the 2013 version of Norton but not in 2012 yet. If you have 2013, it would be easier to contact Norton as they have a better understanding of how to guide you.

Cannot open .jnlp file when asked to open with firefox web browser in ubuntu 11.10 using firefox 6

After upgrading to ubuntu 11.10 the firefox 6 browser cannot download and open .jnlp file from the interactivebrokers website. Usually I go to the IB website and download tws.jnlp file which is opened in the firefox web browser. But now when I click on the Open with Firefox Browser button, the firefox browser opens a new tab and display the same open window again.

Seems that after upgrading to 11.10, jnlp files open with firefox instead of javaws (Java Web Start).
If you right click the file on the download folder and choose "open with" you can manually select java web start.
Ubuntu bug...
You can right click any .jnlp file and select "properties", go to "Open With" tab, mark Sun Java 6 Web Start and click "Set as Default". Should fix it. I don't know what would happen if you have the default ubuntu java instead of Sun's. Maybe this wouldn't be necessary.

Desktop: Mac Mini dual-core i5 (or quad i7 if you can afford it, it might seem overpowered but it will last you longer. Upgrade to 16GB RAM if you want to future proof that side of the machine. Don't buy from Apple, install it yourself).
Laptop: MacBook Pro 13' if you don't need portability, or MacBook Air 11' if you do (as RRFS has said).
A notebook and a laptop are the same thing.

How do I get rid of blurred text happens all the time now in Firefox web browser?

Even when I was registering for this forum the text was blurred and multicolored sometimes. Its very annoying and hard to see. This is all the time with Firexfox. Chrome and IE I have no such issues.
Also when I was taking an assessment test for a job application none of the answers took and I was told by the program that it was probably my browser. I used to use IE and never had any of these issues but changed to Firefox as I was informed that the security was better. All these issues have been frustrating to say the least.
