I am missing all emails two weeks old or older in my mac mail. This happens on a continuous basis. I cannot find them by search or any archived method. Can someone please help me stop this from happening?

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

I upgraded from OSX10.5.8 to 10.9.1 but now my main application Filemaker pro 7 does not work and I get a message that it is not supported. Can someone advise or help?

Can anyone help me resolve a problem I've been having . When I open preference pane & set my personal settings ,i.e Dock settings ,display settings to the way I prefer it's fine while I'm using computer but when I shut down & the next day I start up the settings are back to where they were before I went near them .
This problem is really annoying as the idea with the preference pane is for my particular preference . Please can somebody help me resolve this very annoying problem , After all it is a MacBook Pro running the latest software . Thank you .Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box markedAllow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:

I can't find the option to reset Safari completely! Can someone please help me?
After I updated my Pro, I can't seem to find the option to reset my Safari browser or my private browsing option. Is there something wrong with my systems? I need help because I would like my original settings back. Does anyone have a similar problem, or am I alone in this? Any help would be very much appreciated!

In place of Reset Safari, there is "Clear history and website data".

Did you change the ID you are using for iCoud? If so, did you delete the account, then sign back in with your new ID on your device?

very frustrated iphone user !!Changing devices is no reason to create a new Apple ID.
All content purchased from iTunes is permanently linked to the Apple ID it was purchased with.
To update apps purchased with the old ID, you MUST sign in with that Apple ID. -
Hi my name is Natalia R. I had subscribed to FIT Radio, and got charged monthly. Now, I do not want the app anymore. I have tried canceling it, but it does not allow me. Can someone please help - I want to sync my icloud calendar with my iphone calendar. All of my entries from previous months are on my icloud calendar but not my iphone. How do I get them back on there? I have corrected my settings for future entries (I think/hope) but want to put the old stuff back on.

Is there a reason why you did not create a backup of your media and other important files before switching from Vista?
It is the users responsibility to back up their media, it is NOT Apple's responsibility.
When you purchase CD's or DVD's, if you lose them, you repurchase them. Same deal with digital media.
If you have a backup of your media, simply copy the files from the backup to your computer.
If you still have access to your old computer, simply copy the files from it to your new computer. -

Thank youThe thread running through your explanation has to do with connectivity to your server. (iCloud out of the blue asking for password, unable to message your boyfriend, unable to access e-mail). You said that you boyfriend restart his device and then the two of you were able to then imessage. My best advice for you would be to go to settings to reset to reset network settings. Once this has been done you then will need to enter the name and password of your wifi. ONce this is done you then can attempt to check to see that all passwords are enter correctly.

If you have a pc, when you plug your iPad in you should see the windows pop up window offering to backup the photos. Do that and it will save all your photos and videos to your computer where you can then sync them back to your new one.
If the pop up doesn't come up, double click on my computer and navigate your way to the iPad. Double cick on it an d navigate to the DCIM folder. Drag your photos and videos to your pc, then sync them back onto your iPad. -
I am trying to authorise a new computer. Apple's instructions are to select "Authorise this computer" from the itunes store menu. I can't find this in any menu. Can you please help? How do I authorise my computer?

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

Since yesterday around 6 pm both my iphone 5s are having major issues with the data side of verizon,. Lte usually is around 15 down and 5 up, since last night its less than 1/2 a meg down and .12 up. That is if i can even get it to run a speed test.
