I am missing Insert options in Dreamweaver CS6. Where do I find header and navigation?

A lot changed between DWCS6 and DWCS6 Cloud. You need to make sure you are using tutorials/resources built for Version 12.0x.
IIRC, "Structure" is the new name for "Layout"

EDIT: Development of the perpetual license version of DWCS6 has stopped. There is no way to add that into the version of the program you have. To get those options, you would need a Cloud Subscription where you can get DWCS6 Cloud, DWCC and DWCC2014.x (all three can be installed at the same time, they just won't run at the same time).

How can I bring back image Align options in Dreamweaver CS6 (CSS not an option)?

Why were the options to align images from the Property bar removed in Dreamweaver CS6? When CSS isn't an option (email, CMSs, etc ), what options are available to better edit the inline HTML code?
For this purpose, is it better to revert to an older version of Dreamweaver?

You can write inline code in any version of Dreamweaver, but you need to hand-code it. Versions later than CS2 or Dreamweaver MX don't really support inline code generation, as the idea for websites was to generate external style sheets.
Here's what I do for emails: I use MailChimp. Their on-line email generators do write good code that is readable in any email application and they also allow the user to subscribe to a text-only email.
If you still have your old copy of Dreamweaver MX or CS-2 that supports in-line code generation, keep using that. It will coexist nicely with Dreamweaver CS6 and you can have both open at the same time. As long as it continues to work correctly on your operating system, you're good to go.

Unable to draw AP Div from Insert Panel as described in Tutorial "Classroom: Basic Site Layout and Navigation in Dreamweaver"

I tried to perform the draw AP Div from the Insert Panel as described within the Tutorial "Classroom: Basic Site Layout and Navigation in Dreamweaver" but that option isn't available/visible from my most recent update t Dreamweaver CC. The only thing noticeable is that the instructor is using a Mac version of the software. Help!

CS4 is 6+ years old. A lot has changed in web standards and Dreamweaver since then.
APDivs were never a good or sensible way to make primary layouts. Today, they are downright impossible in Responsive web designs because content in APDivs is removed from the normal document flow. See links below for further details on why APDivs should be avoided.

If you're going to work with DW CC, you need to find tutorials to match your product version. CS6 is wildly different from CC and CC 2014.

Compare the differences between the "Insert" option for fluid grid layouts in DW CC6 2014 and DW6 CC

Their are differences in the "Insert" menu for DW CC6 2014 and DW CC6. Where can I find training to explain the differences between the "Insert" menu particularly regarding insertion of fluid grid layouts?

I would concentrate on learning the version of Dreamweaver that you want to use and not on learning the differences.
Incidentally, the versions are CS6 and CC.
As a personal note, I would suggest trying Bootstrap instead of the Fluid Grid Layouts.

Dreamweaver CS6 lacks sample folder for Frameset and Frames

My copy of Dreamweaver CS6 installed from a CD lacks one of three sample folder. It's the sample forlder of Frameset and Frames. How can I get that folder which is missing ?

Where is "CSS Designer option in Dreamweaver CS6? I do not see it in the "window" dropdown..

I am watching a tutorial on wordpress and dreamweaver. In the tutorial, the instructor starts CSS Designer by going to "window" menu item. The option is there. When I go to it, the option is NOT there. What gives??@

The CSS Designer panel is a fairly new addition to DW. The version of DW you are using is older than the tutorial video by at least one version.
There were quite a few changes between these versions...
DWCS6 Perpetual (disk/one-time download)
DWCS6 Cloud (subscription)
DWCC (first one with the CSS Designer panel)
DWCC 2014
You really should make sure any tutorial you use matches your exact version of the program. Even if it does, updates to the cloud versions may make that information outdated in short order.

White space in responsive design around stage when inserting in a Dreamweaver cs6 created webpage.

What is the fix for removing all the excess space around the stage when added to a mobile webpage. It views correctly on the desktop. I have created my animation in a responsive format through Edge CC 3.0. When I insert it into my webpage I get a lot of excess around the object on my table and mobile formats. It is not the stage because I have purposely made it gray so to see if it was the issue. I have done some css rules with negative margins but that is not fixing for all media devices. I feel there should be an easy fix. Anybody else experiencing this.

I have had to "re-instate" "Mail" on my 5yr old Macbook Pro after it got "lost"during an s/w upgrade to Snow Leopard v10.6.8. In reinstated version all my Email archive folders are now missing from the screen. How/where do I find them ??

I recently purchased Snow Leopard v10.6.3 in order to upgrade the OSX platform on my 5 year old Macbook Pro. That loaded without trouble. Then I needed to do an online upgrade from 10.6.3 to 10.6.8 (via 10.6.4) and there the trouble commenced !! Somewhere along the way, the "Mail" application simply disappeared! On advice from Apple telephone support, I did a "selective" reinstall of "Mail" from the Snow Leopard disk, but the version of Mail it loaded (v4.5) was wrong for use with OSX v10.6.8 and so it kept asking for the 'latest" version (v4.6) and just would not work. I tried a "Fix" download provided on the Apple site, that didn't work.
I spent 2 hours at the Genius Bar of my local Apple Store and they finally found a fix, after some difficulty. Apparently there had been a programming error somewhere in one of the Apple update downloads.
So now I have "Mail" back - but the Mailbox folders now not as they were before - particularly they do not contain my archive Folders that I had been using to store certain historic emails.
I think the folder structure on "Mail" is now identical to that on my "BT Yahoo" screen - whereas before they had been different. My local Apple Store told me that it was practice now to synchronise the "Mail" screen and (for example) the BT Yahoo screen to be identical. This is well and good going forward - but does not help me with access to my historic "email filing system" !!
Anyone help me find those missing folders ?? They must be stored somewhere, but where ??!!

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

InDesign CS6 ePub Export : Tables with header and footer in HTML

Hey there,
does anyone know, whether InDesign CS6 also exports Table Headers and footers correctly into the XHTML-File of the ePub.
What I mean, is whether the elements <thead> and <tfoot> are created?
Or is it only possible to steer this via the CSS-Classnames which can be given in the tableformats?
Generally I think it would be better if the user had the chance to map other exporttags to its elements than just p, em, strong, h1-h6.
it would be useful to also put in other elements by hand.

By "also", do you mean the behavior is changed with respect to CS5/CS5.5? In those, thead and tfoot are created correctly. (Although, quite disconcerting, in the order "thead / tfoot / tbody". ePub renderers based on Webkit display them correctly nevertheless, but others do not. An extremely annoying free interpretation of the W3C rules.)

There is a feature within an add-on or extension called SmartLink that automatically links to wikipedia. Where do I find this, and how do I change the options?

I've noticed that while using Firefox I find in many pages there are text such as names that become hyperlinks that open in wikipedia. The majority of these links open to the wrong pages. The only similarity is the name searched.

I have this same problem and I can't find the addon anywhere. I got it through Firefox addons so I would expect to be able to find it there. But I can't and I'm getting to the point of frustration of going to Google Chrome.

I do not have a refresh button or a settings option on my toolbars, where can i find them?

I have just installed mozilla firefox as my internet provider. I have noticed that although i asked for toolbars from Internet Explorer to be transferred across this hasnt happened. I have added what i can but cannot find a refresh button or a settings option

You can not transfer toolbars from IE to Firefox.
You can add or remove ions from the toolbar, for details see [[how to customize the toolbar]].

Missing some extensions... Where do I find them?

I'm running Classic 9.2 on my OS X Panther 10.3.9 machine. I installed Classic from the original apple CD that came with my Powerbook.
I am trying to run a certain software application which uses multiple CD's... However, in order for the other CD's to work I need to put the following extensions into the Extensions folder from the Extensions (Disabled) folder, but however they don't exist in either folder:
ISO 9660 File Access
High Sierra File Access
Foreign File Access
The support site of my application says that the above three extensions need to be moved from the Extensions (Disabled) folder to the Extensions, but why are they not in there?
How can I download/install/find them in order to use this app?

If you are running OS 9 as Classic while the machine is booted to OSX, it may make no difference to have those extensions in OS 9's Extensions folder. As long as the machine is booted to OSX, then OSX is controlling the hardware, not Classic.
However, they can be obtained if you want to try adding them. You can use this utility TomeViewer to extract (expand) any files you want from an Installation Tome on an OS Install CD or download disk image, without running the installer.
How to use TomeViewer
OS 9.2.x uses the same version of those extensions as does OS 9.1. They can be found in the Installalation Tome on any full-install OS 9.1 or later CD (retail or model-specific), as well as in the Installation Tome in the OS 9.1 and OS 9.2.1 download updates.
Note - the file High Sierra Access is not needed in OS 9.1 and higher. Since your software apparently makes reference to that extension, that would indicate it is relatively old software (pre-OS 9.1). As such, it may not be able to run in Classic under OSX.

I have just backed up my iPhone5 but when I connected my new iPhone5s the back-up wasn't listed as an option to restore? Where can I find the most recent back-up?

I've back-up the iPhone 5 several times now then connected the iPhone 5s but the back-up isn't listed. In fact the most recent back-up available is Nov 2013 but I've been backing up each fortnight.

If the 5S is already active, you will not see the backup for another device. You will need to erase the 5S back to factory default, and when prompted during the setup, choose restore from backup instead of setup as new.

Where is the structure, header & navigation tag location? - dreamweaver cs6

I am a novice at building a web site and I just purchased CS6 and decided to view a tutorial at How to make and style a web page in Dreamweaver | Adobe Dreamweaver CC tutorials. The tutorial is for CS5 and it refers to "structure, header and navigation" in the insert panel. Where are they in CS6? I have attached a picture of my insert panel.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

You dragged the window to the toolbar, no biggie, the other options that are available are right there for you to see in the tabs next to it. If you click and drag the dotted area to the left of those tabs, it will undock from the toolbar area.
Like I said, a lot changes with DW from version to version, you really do NEED to use a tutorial for the program you actually have in order to learn about your actual program.
