I am missing the app store button
updated my phone last night and I am missing the app store button- is there a fix for this? HELP
Default apps are part of the iOS and cannot be deleted. Search all home screens and all folders and/or search for it with Spotlight, that will tell you what folder it's in.
Also check Settings > General > Restrictions to see if it has been restricted.
If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Do you have restrictions turned on? Settings>General>Restrictions>On. If you do, you may have turned off installing apps and the app store icon will disappear.
If that's not it - swipe from screen to screen to look for it, -
I'm stuck in an app description in the app store - no back button!
Hey folks,
I clicked on the National Underground Railroad Freedom Centers app from the Featured page over a week ago and every time I click on the featured button now, it takes me directly to the app description.
I've tried logging out and back in as well as turning off my phone but nothing seems to fix it. There's simply no "back" button - no way of getting back to the main featured page.
If someone could help me out I'd really appreciate it - this is starting to drive me nuts.

GBI also experienced the same problem where the "App Store" Button left of the text "Info" was missing!!. I also have no clue how this happend, it did happen to me two days ago.
I tried klchong118 suggestion on turning on/off genieus and this helped me!!, thanks a lot man! Now I can access the featured apps section. After viewing the content of another app it did not fall back to the same problem. So this solution did fix the problem for me.
Before trying the fix I was running IOS 4.3. Updating to IOS 4.3.2 did not fix the problem, neither did a reboot of the phone or killing the App Store app in the multitask section. -
I downloaded IOS6 and all of my app icons, including the App Store icon disappeared. Now to use an icon, I have to go to Passport and click on the App Store button at the bottom and search through all of the apps to find the one I want and then click on Open. There doesn't seem to be a way to delete the app and start over.

It sounds like the application you are looking for is indeed still on your iPhone. You can confirm this by searching in the Spotlight Search for this application. It may have accidentally been moved to a folder, or an additional Home screen:

How do I reinstall the App Store to my Macbook Pro?
App Store app was accidentally deleted. Can it be reinstalled through the Apple website, and if so, how?
The App Store cannot be deleted. If you dragged the App Store app to the Trash, you'll see this dialog:
"App Store.app" can't be modified or deleted because it's required by OS X.
I think you're just missing the App Store icon from your Dock.
Look in your Applications folder. You should the App Store app there. -
Why Can't I Access the App Store in iOS 6?
I've been trying to use Passbook ever since I installed iOS6 today with no luck. Whenever I tap the "App Store" button in Passbook, it opens the store and I get a "Cannot connect to iTunes" message. (see image.)
But if I open iTunes on it's own, it works just fine. No one else is complaining!Am I doing something wrong?I am having the same problem, but I think I might know what's causing it. I just updated my girlfriend's iPhone 4S (same phone as mine) to iOS 6 and was surprised to find that her app store is working just fine. When I opened hers, however, I did notice that the "Categories" and "Top 25" buttons are totally different; and those happen to be the two buttons that are not working for me. Mine shows the same that yours does, while hers has the "Genius" and "Charts" buttons in the place of the two that are not functioning for me. I believe these old buttons are no longer active and therefor are bombing out when attempting to access them.
Now I said I think I may understand the problem, but unfortunately I have no idea what the solution may be. Hopefully this tread doesn't fade away and our problem gets addressed. -
my ipad says "connexion a l'Itunes Store impossible" when I click the App Store button. So, I cannot have access to the Apps. I have internet connection and I can use my emails and the safari. Please advise.
Try this:
1. Settings>General>Date & Time>Turn off set automatically
2. Set date one year ahead
3. Go back to iTunes and try again.
4. You will get the same error.
5. Go back to settings general date and time and turn back on 'set automatically'
Try connecting to iTune Store again. -
TS1702 My "Passbook" app won't connect to the App Store...please help!
I just downloaded iOS6 and am trying to set up my Passbook app. When I try to connect to the App Store throught the Passbook app, I'm getting the message "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". I'm trying to figure out how to resolve this issue but can't figure it out...please help!
As it says in other threads:
Go to Settings, Date and Time. Turn off automatic and choose Set Date and Time. Change the year to 2013. Go to Passbook and touch the App Store button. Once it connects to the store, go back to Settings, Date and Time, and turn Automatic back on. It will work from this point onward!

Switch the Set Automatically setting to Off.
Open Set Date & Time.
Set the date to a year ahead.
Go back to the Home screen and open Passbook.
Tap the App Store button. The App Store should load.

How do i get back my app store button
My son some how deleted the "app store" button and I am not sure how to get it back. I am willing to reset but I am not sure which option to select. Should I "reset all settings", or should I "erase all settings and content"? Erase sounds bad to me but will resetting all settings get our button back?

iphoto upgrade issue
hi all, trying to upgrade from iphoto 9/ 8.2.1 too 11. i do the usual routine of upgrading and it take me through to the app store, where i select the version i want, i then get told once i hit the upgrade button that there is a version installed and then it quits . not sure if this is standard behaviour and i need to run the unistall on my current version or there is somthing missing somwhere in my config. any help apreciatedMove the application to the Desktop, go back to the App Store and try purchasing again.

I'm so frustrated and in desperate need of help, I don't know what else to do! Certain apps such as Tumblr (I've previously had the Tumblr app on my phone) and Vine will NOT dowload on my phone. I've tried deleting all apps from both my iPhone and iTunes, I've tried restoring my phone then backing it up, I've tried downloading the app from iTunes while my phone is plugged into my computer, etc. When I search the apps in the app store they show up but the 'FREE' button is white and unclickable, it's very frustrating. When I download it from iTunes while my phone is plugged in I can watch it download, but when it's done it immediately dissapears from the screen and from my phone. When I plug my phone into iTunes it say I have the Tumblr and Vine apps, but I assure you, I do not. I have deleted and tried to add them so many times but it never works. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

on a iphone 3g the myxer social radio will not let me do anything can't download it and don't know how to get rid of it.....it won't let me do anything and I can't get past it to go to the app store app
Try force quitting the app...
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down for a few seconds until a red slider appears, then press and hold the Home button until the app quits. -
Hi, I am a new iMac user and I finally got my itunes to recognize my music to the iMac, but now it says my computer is not authorized?! When I ask at the App. store about this- they have nothing, but that is where the iMac sends me? So what did I miss?

Hi I want to download Instagram and snapchat on my IPod touch . I think for these apps you need to be at least 12 to download them. I am . However when I go to the App Store to download them . Forgotten RESTRICTIONS Passcode
- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod. . Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
- If you are up to file manipulation see the following but it may not work for iOS 6.1.3 or iOS 7

Nano + iTunes 7 = Messed up Album Art
when I updated to itunes 7 my album art now is messed up. About one of five of every piece of album art is just a bunch of random colored pixels. Anyone else experiencing bugs like this? I am running the latest version of the updater. It also occurs
