I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO ADD SPECIAL EFFECTS TO MY MOVIES

Hi i am making a video using a green screen. I used to be able to double click my video on the project bin and choose a special effect such as romantic or black and white. Now i can no longer do this. It brings up video stabalization, audio and video where you can change the color and contrast but no special effects. I have tried both on project bin and importing. I can add special effects to text but not video. Could this be because of green screen effect or length of video?? This is before and after adding a background for the green screen. I am sorry if this has been asked before. I couldn't find anything on this.

Quit the Videos app completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't work - try this. Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of any of your movies in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK.

Since updating to Firefox 6.0 I am no longer able to add bookmarks on Yahoo Toolbarl. I receive the following Java Error message: "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: this.oRoot.enable is not a function." When I hit the OK button in the error message it opens up "Add a Bookmark" and when I attempt to add the bookmark there I get this error message: "A problem occured while trying to save the bookmark. Please try again later."
Is this a comparability issue that you are not aware of? Below are the versions of Firefox and Yahoo Toolbar that I currently have installed:
Firefox: 6.0.02
Yahoo Toolbar: 2.4.0.20110815110908

I am having this issue on my laptop and desktop. Since I use both computers the Yahoo toolbar has been great for having my bookmarks available on both computers at the same time but no I don't have that feature. I'm told that Google's toolbar also doesn't work either.
Do you guys do any testing or Quality Assurance testing before releasing these versions?

Add-ons are the responsibility of their authors. McAfee does not even put their extension on http://addons.mozilla.org you had to install it from their site.
Disable "McAfee Site Advisor" extension which was just updated to 3.4.0, which probably took it out of the addons block list.
* "Ctrl+Shift+A" > find McAfee Site Advisor and use "Disable", and then restart Firefox.
* Do a Google Search no problem
* It seems that if you re-enable Site Advisor again, and restart Firefox you are okay. At least you know where to look if you get the error again or Google searches slow down.

No longer able to add ringtones to itunes 10.6 and up

I am no longer able to add ringtones into tones. I make the ringtones via itunes but it won't let me add it to the "tones" tab. The file is proper .m4r extension but when I try to add it, it gives me the circle with the line across the middle that doesn't let me add it to the tones tab. Is anyone else having this trouble? and if so how can I fix it?

No longer able to add account

The last 2 weeks my Macbook no longer recognises any "alien" accounts.
It started with mail no longer accepting my gmail and hotmail accounts and constantly asking for the passwords and rejecting them even though I'm 100% sure I used the right password.
Even tried resetting the passwords for all google and hotmail accounts and using those passwords.
I deleted all accounts in system preferences and then tried adding them again to accounts.
It still wouldn't accept any passwords.
I deleted the passwords stored in keychain but that didn't work either.
Now I have the same with twitter and Facebook accounts set up on my mac.
And now it doesn't let me add my iCloud account to mail anymore.
Is there some sort of reset button to just wipe the whole macbook clean or something as it is quite unworkable this way.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

No longer able to add songs from computer

On Friday I was able to successfully import songs from another location on my computer. Yesterday I went to import some more - after updating iTunes to the latest version. NO go - nothing happened. I've tried using the add folder option, the add file option and just dropping the file on my iTunes window. Nothing works. I completely uninstalled iTunes - to the point that I now have to rebuild all my playlists etc - and installed an older version. And still I am unable to add any songs. I had to burn them to a CD and then import that.
I am running Windows XP pro SP3 on a pentium 4 with 2GB of RAM and like I said...until I updated it was working fine.
Has anyone else had this problem? And if so have you found a resolution to it?

I noticed this week while running iTunes 9.2 on Windows 7 that I was missing a significant portion of my MP3 music from the library, music that I originally ripped and imported way back with iTunes 4.6. Somewhere my music got dumped from the iTunes library. Dragging the files/folders does nothing (iTunes does not add the music nor give any notification that it could not). Adding the music through menus has the same problem. The MP3 files play fine through Quicktime and Windows Media Player.
I found that if I removed ALL the ID3 tags with a 3rd-party application iTunes could then add the file.
How do I fix this?

Help! No longer able to add songs to Ipod.

I'm new to this forum. I did not know where to turn for help. I have been trying to add new songs to my ipod for the last several weeks without success. I can add them to the library. I am able to drag them from the library to my ipod icon and the playlist I want to put them in. It shows up as updating. However, when I unplug the Ipod it is not there at all. I have tried this multiple times.
I saw a similar question on this forum, dated a little while back but no solution. Please help. My ipod was a gift loaded with thousands of songs that i do not have stored so i do not want to have to restore the ipod if avoidable.

I can think of a few reasons as to why this is happening.
If you have recently switched computers which you update your iPod with, it might just be that the new computer is not compatible with your iPod.
The most probable reason I could think of is that you are not pressing the eject button before you remove the iPod, thus the newly added data would be removed.
If you cannot find a solution to this and you are going to reset your iPod, then use the program YamiPod (http://www.yamipod.com) which takes all the songs off your iPod and puts them onto your computer; you can then add them back once you have reformatted,

Z10 ...no longer able to add contacts after last operating system upgrade

I am Z10 user and after my last system upgrade i can no longer add any new contacts. This is being reported on a number of forums. Is there a fix? If I don't hear back from blackberry by the end of the week I will be dropping blackberry and moving to the Samsung Galaxy 4 or Apple I phone. Blackberry has blown it.

No longer able to add events to ical on ipad

since the update to ios i no longer have the ability to add appointments or new calendars on the ical. i can modify existing appointments but can't make new ones. i have rebooted the ipad. nothing is working.

Have you tried clicking "Reset Sync History..." in iSync preferences?
Also, make sure you have at least one 'local' calendar set up in iCal - rather than just 'subscribed' ones.

No longer able to add messages?

I have two accounts to which I can no longer add messages via the Pay As You Go site, or through the GoPhone Support (800-) number. When I click the Features tab on the PAYG site, both say "No package is available for purchase," and have done this since I opened the accounts. That was okay as long as I could still renew and add messages via the 800-number. Now the automated system wants me to change my plan, and buy things I don't need. The accounts are for MMS cameras, not phones. I can (and do) buy "minutes" on the PAYG site, but I don't need to call Canada or Mexico or anyplace else for $30/month, when the 10¢/minute plan with 1,000 messages works (or worked) just fine. I just noticed that one account says "Smartphone 10¢/minute plan" on the PAYG site. The other says "10¢/minute" at the top of the page. The main balance for that one is now over $90, but I can't add any messages because of the "No package is available" problem. The nearest AT&T store is a sixty-mile round trip from my home. I have five accounts with AT&T, but I'm pretty tired of this.

I have a gophone and no they won't allow packages to be purchased unless you upgrade to a monthly plan. which sort of negates the idea of pay as you go. gophone users can no longer pay what they need when they need it.

New iPod touch, no longer able to add songs via iTunes

Have a new iPod touch, less than a week old. 3.1.2 OS and 9.0.2 iTunes on an iMac.
Was loading songs manually, walked away for a little while, left the iPod connected, now I cannot add songs.
I've restored the iPod, still unable to drop songs onto it from iTunes. I set it to sync checked songs, will not load that way either.
It will load apps, I reloaded the apps, but songs will not go on it. Drive isn't full, after the restore I loaded apps, about 4 gigs worth, and tried songs but nada, zip, zilch.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Tried adding songs numerous ways, nothing. Walk away for a bit, come back, now I can add songs.
iPod gremlins? Taking it back tomorrow to see if they have any ideas...

HT1451 No longer able to add itunes library from external hard drive.

Its been about a year since I used itunes because my old pc burned out. I was using an external hard drive to store my itunes libraryand my preferences were set to advanced preferences / itunes media folder location / F:\itunes data, and was working fine when I needed to reinstall itunes before now. Now when I choose it, nothing comes up, no saved apps, books or music not in the cloud. In fact, I don't even see apps anymore.
Anyone know why this no longer works, and how do I get it back, get it all back?

Since you already have the folder located on the external drive just point it to that location, you wont need to perform the portion of creating a new folder.
If the issue persists and reinstalling iTunes is necessary, refer to this Knowledge Base article as the uninstall/reinstall steps do need to be performed in a very particular order:
