I am no longer allowed to Purchase HD Videos in iTunes anymore.

For over a year now I've been happily buying and downloading HD Videos onto my computer with iTunes. Within the past month that has stopped. Every time I go to buy a new movie now I get "Also availavle in HD on iPad and Apple TV". I do not own an iPad and if I buy it through my Apple TV then it will not download to my computer. Part of the beauty of having it download to my computer is the ability to watch the movie on my computer, my TV or my iPhone 4. All of which play HD quality video. I don't know what has changed but it really *****! Why do people keep trying to fix things that are not Broke. Will someone please tell me how to fix this.

You're probably aware by now, but this seems to have been a brief glitch and appears now to be resolved. If you haven't tried again yet, you should do so now.

I was refering to the "sample rate", normally 44.1 KHz, the iPod might not be able to play tracks with a non-standard rate. Otherwise I'm not sure what the issue might be.

Is this on your computer or on iPad/iPhone ? If you are on an iPad or iPhone then it should have downloaded into the Videos app - iTunes on those devices is just the iTunes store, and if you just see the Ts & Cs link on the Downloads tab then that means that there are no outstanding downloads waiting.

No longer able to purchase anything in the iTunes store

As of yesterday, I can no longer make purchases. Pressing the "Buy" button just doesn't do anything. Any word from Apple about this problem? I can see others are experiencing the same issue.

I have the same problem. Looks like the latest iTunes upgrade will not work on older operating systems. Can't understand why they would make a change like this and lose many loyal customers. I was renting movies and buying music regularly right up until yesterday and now I can't buy anything. My latest iTunes version is 10.6.3, I hear the most recent iTunes is 11.1. I'll need a new computer to run that.

I can no longer see my files in apps in itunes anymore

Before I updated the current 6.0.1 version, I was able to see the files in the apps on iTunes. After I updated it, the whole interface under Apps has changed. Now it is only to remove or install. Before when I clicked on the app, it listed the files and I was able to copy it into my computer and vice versa but now it only gives the option to delete the apps.
What is terribly wrong with Apple these days??!! The experience is really getting frustrating!

Are you working from the same user account as yesterday?
Have you tried to find your Aperture library with Spotlight? Type ".aplibrary" into the searchfield in the upper right corner of the screen. Does that show your library?
What did you do yesterday, after you closed Aperture? Did you run any other program that uses photos? Did you install or upgrade software?
Where should your Aperture Library be located? In the default location in the Pictures folder?

IPod Video = no longer recognizes/updates purchased videos

I purchased a video from iTunes a while back and have since enjoyed it no my iPod. However, when I plugged my iPod in to update it last night, ALL of my videos/movies no longer appeared on my iPod. Sooooo, I updated it again this morning, and now it won't update a couple purchased videos. What gives?
I had to reset AND restore my iPod to even try to bring it all back. But still - no luck. SOME videos show up - but not a few others. Why is this?

I changed my email address. Logged into the iTunes Store and changed my address - which is also my Apple ID. The change was applied. I can now low into the iTunes Store with my new email address. But I can no longer update my purchased apps. The iTunes Store claims I don't own the originals and suggests I purchase them. ***? I used their site to make the change. I did not simply open a new account, though that's how the store seems to be treating me. How do I get this reconciled?

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account. You may have already done this.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

Purchasing Music From Foreign iTunes Stores

I had just recently discovered the option of "My Store" at the very bottom of iTunes which enables customers to view other iTunes stores all over the globe. When trying to purchase music from the Österreich iTunes store, I found I wasn't able to do so. I received an error message, as shown above, stating that I was only valid for purchases within the US iTunes store. My question is simple: Why are US iTunes customers not allowed to purchase items from foreign iTunes stores? I do know that you must register to one country in order to begin your iTunes experience (when you first download the program) but does that choice of a country really limit you to your range of music? Is this due to various licensing laws or problems with converting currency? Also, if customers are not allowed to purchase items from foreign stores, why are they allowed the option to view these stores? Answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated. Yes, it's all about copyright and licensing. Currency conversion isn't at issue. In order to purchase music from a particular store, you have to have 1) a valid billing address in the country and 2) a credit card billed to that address or purchase gift cards in that country. It is quite possible that one person could have valid residence and billing information for more than one country. My parents, for a long time, maintained residences in both the U.S. and Canada, so if the iTunes Store had been available, they could have had two accounts, one U.S. and one Canadian.
