I am not able to answer talkatone app phone call when iPhone is in lock-screen mode. I miss all calls because by the time I unlock my phone the notification disappears and there is no way to accept the call. What can I do to be able to answer calls via the talkatone phone app from the lock-screen mode?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I have recently bought an IPAD 2 for my girlfriend and have encountered a problem with purchasing apps through my itunes account. It is requesting that I not only enter my pasword (which I know) but answer my old account questions, which I have forgotten the answers to. It had since locked me out of changing my questions for eight hours. Is there any number I can call to prove that I am the real owner of my itunes account so my girlfriend will be able to use her ipad to purchase new apps without having to go through the trouble of using one of my other apple devices? Random information: I believe my questions were set back in 2007 when I purchased my first ipod nano, since then I have used this same itunes account for my own ipod touch and ipad 2 and my girlfriends iphone 1st generation. Sorry, you cannot downgrade back to iOS 6. Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS software for a variety of reasons.
Try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds).
Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your issue is resolved.

I cannot receive coming calls. Calls do not go into voice mail and the greeting is not my voice or the default greeting. This appears to be a common problem, regardless of carrier. If Apple cared, they would monitor the forums and provide answers when possible. Several people I know are replacing their iPhones with other devices. My next phone WILL NOT be an iPhone. iPhones are not worth the price.

Go back and read the term of use you signed up for. There is no Apple here in this user to user forum.
The ability to make or receive calls fall on the phone carrier not Apple or iphone.
Suggest you contact your phone carrier to resolve the issue.
Also stating that your next phone won't be an iphone, doesn't mean anything here, we users don't care what phone you get next.

I have the same problem. I think that someone tried my iphone before me because when I want to reset it, I'm invited to enter a password that I didn't set. Also, when I go the Map application, the iphone indicate that I'm locateded in China while I'm in Tunisia. Now, I can't connect to my iphone to itunes, and I can't reset it because it ask me to enter a password that I didn't set.

What a frustrating experience I have had trying to get away from This phone and Plan. I just want to down grade this phone. What difference does it make to you here? All VZW will do is re certify the phone and give it to someone else. I just would like to down grade to a cheaper phone and do away with android os. I still have the same issues with the phone as I did with my other one within a hour of re activating it. I should have no issues with the os it is flawed and should not happen. I am sorry to say but The blackberry OS is a lot more stable. There may not be as many apps but it is more productive and being able to multi task is a lot more needed on a phone. I was told yesterday I would get a call back today at 7pm when this tech support lady would start her shift to give me my options and she did not call. Making me call at 930pm today and after talking to someone I waited for 45 minuets to be hung up on. That is a real great way to treat a customer and make things better. I just want away from the Andriod OS. What difference does it make to you as a company to make a customer happy who was with you since 08 and having a second device added on to the account? What Poor way to treat someone to make them happy with all the profits you have and can't give anything back to a customer.

Sir, your Apple ID can be used as an iCloud account as well. They are both the same thing.

If I am speaking to a person, if they hang up then I am back to the phone application. If I'm leaving a message, I am unable to return to the phone screen to end the call, and have to wait until the other phone hangs up. I'm also unable to switch back and forth to look at my calendar if I'm calling someone about scheduling. This has only started happening since the most recent iOs update. I run into situations similar to this about once per day during the work week, as I use my phone is this manner quite often. While not life altering it is quite frustrating. Can anyone here help me figure out a way to avoid this? If it helps, I have noticed a general downgrade in overall performance starting two system updates ago (apps opening more slowly, closing unexpectedly more often, etc.). I have an iPhone 3GS with the latest OS update.

I could be corrupted backup.
You can check the notification settings for message.
Settings>Notification Center>Messages>Alert Style
It should be on Banners or Alerts.
Settings>Messages> Turn on Imessage and send as SMS and below that "Blocked" to check if you have any numbers block might be blocking the message.
You can also do a hard reset by holding power and home till it restarts and release after seeing the apple logo.
Still doesn't work? Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings
