Due to some issue in posting GR/IR clearing through MR11 ,SAP has suggested to post zero value through miro
for the default qty.(SAP NOTE 708649)
I am trying post this system is throwing error message
You are not allowed to have zero lines only
Message no. M8278
Diagnosis
You entered zero in all document lines. This is not allowed.
Procedure
Check the amounts entered and make any necessary corrections.

M8278 is a hardcoded error in function module MRM_INVOICE_POST. Even customizing would allow maintenance, the program would not check this customizing.
You must not have all items in the invoice zero, that is what the message is telling you.
So it is contrary to the info in the mentioned OSS note.
I would open a message at SAP and tell them that the solution provided in this OSS does not work, or is not explained well.

Sender File Adapter not able to get file via FTP from an external system

I have a Sender File Adapter using FTP which polls a server every 10 seconds looking for a file ".xml". The adapter will connect and pick up the waiting file, but sometimes the adapter not able to get file via FTP from an external system. The file is on the server, but despite the polling, the adapter does not pick up it. There is no return error.
The connect mode is Permanently and the transfer mode is Binary.
Can you help me?

does this case appears with a file size higher the others?
Personally, I do not recommend to have a polling under 1min.
10s could be too just, if the file is not small and/or if the file server is far (several kilometers) to where the Adapter Engine is, and/or this file server is beside a firewall. Do not forget also that, with previous points, you could have like a conflict, betwen the 1st polling and the 2nd polling, if in less 10s PI adapter has not enough time: to connect to the FTP server (several Km), find the file (perhaps among 100 other files in the directory), go back to the file to Adapter Engine server (several Km again), convert your file to XML message (with a complex Content Conversion), then check the XML structure, and when all that is done, return back to FTP server (several Km), to archive the source file... Well It's my understanding of a FTP exchange with FILE adapter...
If you really need a 10s polling, that's mean your have a pseudo real time interface. In that case, in my mind file should not be used! but we should use a Web service, JDBC JMS (any exchange without a physical object like a file). For me, it's a non-sens to have a file in that case.

Try to change your Apple ID back to your old email address (http://appleid.apple.com) in order to set up and activate the phone. After the set up please sign out of iCloud and turn off "Find My iPhone" (Settings > iCloud) - do that on all your devices -, then change your Apple ID to your new address again and then add your iCloud account on you devices again.

Every time I try to purchase a song, "session has timed out" shows up after I click "agree" to the terms!? I seem to be in the exact same scenario as 'SportsBarn' above: Itunes support have replied repeatedly with the same "solutions" but nothing has helped or even been applicable. I have an older laptop, 2005 Powerbook running OS X 10.4 Tiger so it's not compatible with the latest iTunes 10.5.2 which requires minimum OS X 10.5. I've been using the balance already in my iTunes account (from redeemed giftcards over the past few years) with no problem, until recently (my last successful purchase was October 2011). First of all, you need to check the hosts file on your client system.
hosts file has to include some information such as "host/ipaddress" and so forth..
In my case, I found out that the issue is related to OS System.
If I installed IQ16 SP08 on window 2008 R2 (English version) or added a package of english language.
And then I changed display language from korean to english.
I succeeded to log in to cockpit console.
And the cockpit related log files are helpful to investigate the root causes.

Using the instructions posted, I am not able to customize the add-on bar. I cannot move or remove the elements there.

I went to the instructions about how to customize the add-on bar. These were basically the same as for the other bars which appear on the top of the browser which I've done many times before. I wanted to move some items to the left of the bar and I wanted to remove some items. I was not able to do either of these things. The icon which is the moveable hand would not appear when mousing over the elements on the bar. I was able to add and remove a separator element but it would place only to the left of all the elements. I was not able to place it in any other spot.

Some (possible) bug reports have been filed on the inability to rearrange all of the icons on the Add-on Bar. There may be some involvement of other add-ons causing that problem, but that is yet to be determined.
I have not tried the latest version or Organize Status Bar (OSB) that '''silkphoenix''' pointed to in the post above. The note on that page indicates that the only update was changing the <max-version> to 4.0. I had already done that in the previous version of OSB that I have installed and doing just that did not solve the problem. In my case, some of the add-on icons are grouped together with a gray background in Customize mode and those seem unmovable.
To move items to the left, you can try inserting Flexible spaces (or spaces) from the Customize palette.

Not able to display and search on CLOB attribute in default search screen

My requirement:
I have three VARCHAR attributes and 1 CLOB attribute. i need to search the values on these 4 attributes.
Created View crieteria on these 4 attributes and created default ADF search screen. but not able to add the CLOB attribute as search attribute.
is there any solution for this or we can't search on CLOB attribute.
FYI: i have created Converter using ClobDomain and and using this converted for editing the CLOB data.
If i try adding the CLOB attribute in view criteria with ClobDomain and not able to see that attribute on search panel.
Please help on this.

Madhu, please tell us your jdev version!
The search is done on the DB (query) so the converter is not used. To search clob columns you can use special SQL statements called contains or catsearch. These are using special index to find the data in blob or clob columns.

Not able to run adadmin adfter installing R12 Upgrade file system

Now we are doing 11i apps to R12 upgrade single node, before we did database upgrade 9i to 10.2.0.4,
I successfully installed R12 upgrade file system with out any errors, i have chagned the
new Installation creates APPL_TOP, COMMON_TOP, INST_TOP and 10g Oracle Home
i moved the new environment file into .bash_profile
mv .bash_profile .bash_profile_11.5.10
Iset the R12 environment , When ever i tried to run adadmin system manager password is not taking its giving error

after installing i am trying to apply R12.AD.B patch, do we need to apply this patch in 11i fiile system or New R12 file system, for 11i file system i am not getting any issue, but when ever i set the R12 new file system enviroment file then only i am not able to connect the database,i have changed new port numbers in R12 file system, is that causing any issues..?

Not able to change the name of the attribute of the Table operator.

We are trying to create OMB scripts to automate certain tasks. As a part of this, there is a requirement to change the attribute name of table operators (which by default gets the name of the column). It is possible to change the attribute name from the GUI. But I was not able to do the same using OMB Scripting. Here is the script I used.
OMBALTER MAPPING 'TEST' \
MODIFY ATTRIBUTE 'GEOGRAPHY_ID' OF GROUP 'INOUTGRP1' OF OPERATOR 'TEST' \
SET PROPERTIES(BUSINESS_NAME,PRECISION,DESCRIPTION) \

This script was to change the name of the attribute - GEOGRAPHY_ID of the table operator TEST.
From what I can make out from the Scripting reference, changing BUSINESS_NAME of the attribute should do the trick but it is not happening. The syntax looks correct as the precision of the column changes.
Am I missing something? Or is it a limitation or a bug?
I use OWB client 10.2.0.1.25 and OWB repository 10.2.0.1.0.

IPhone not able to customize calendars

MobileMe subscriber with iPhone.
When plugging device into MacBook, the INFO tab does not allow me to de/select calendars, contacts. It does allow mail customization.
iPod Touch gives me the options, and my spouse's iPhone has the options.

Once again - with a MM account on an iPhone, you can sync contact info and calendar events over the air, or direct with the Address Book and iCal on your Mac via the iTunes sync process. You can do one or the other, not both at the same time.
If Calendars is on with your MM account preferences on your iPhone, this means you are syncing calendars and calendar events over the air with your MM account on your iPhone. If so, you won't have any options available for Calendars under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences because you are syncing Calendars over the air with your iPhone, and you can do one or the other - syncing calendars over the air or direct with iCal via the iTunes sync process, not both at the same time.
If you want to make any major changes on your iPhone when syncing Calendars over the air, do so with iCal on your Mac. This will be synced with your MM online calendars, which will be synced and reflected with your iPhone calendars.

Reg..Not able to transfer items form MDM to SRM(Procurement System)

We are implementing SRM5.0 with SRM-MDM2.0.
We have done all the initial level settings in SRM-MDM2.0, and able to add items in shopping cart and view the shopping cart through web, but the moment we click on "Transfer Items" the next screen display the following error message
(404 not found. The request resource doesnt found)
Though we have enter all the details in SRM > Master Data> Define Web Application Server Call Structure area and maintained the Catalog Id in the Org Structure Attributes link too.
But still we are facing the same problem.
Note-: Please help me once we create catalog in MDM how these catalog to be used by SRM users, what are the importent settings/configuration required for the same.
Points will be awarded for the help.
