I am not able to download adobe reader

I receive an error message saying that there is another download in progress, but I am not able to find another download, and I have not idea how to stop the other download if there is one. I have tried restarting my computer, using another browser, and looking to find another download.

You can try using this tool to first remove all traces of Reader from your computer:
http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Then, you can download the full offline Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

I see that your Acrobat Standard subscription order is still pending. But you should be able to download your software. What happens when you log in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com/acrobat? If you can't get it from that page, you can download it directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X - Adobe.
Once your subscription order processes, you'll be able to log in and use Acrobat.

Not able to use Adobe Reader all the time

I have a coworker who gets PDF documents in her email all the time (multi times daily). These could be POs, they could be requests, they could be most anything.
Here is the troubles ... For the last few weeks to a month she has been able to open and save as for most of the documents she gets. However, this is not the case with all the files. Some will open but not allow her to save. When she tries to go to save as, the computer freezes up on her.
I've checked all her windows updates, adobe updates, etc.This doesn't seem to help the issue any. We've uninstalled adobe reader X (which is what she had most recently with the issue), removed ALL adobe products off the computer, restarted the computer, and then re-downloaded & installed adobe X again. However, when I got back to my desk, there was a message saying that it had happened again.
Computer is running Win XP. Adobe X. All windows updates were completed as of this morning.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't worry about the 20 questions thing ... I didn't know what else to put that would be helpful at the beginning.
As for what file(s) - it is always PDF docs, but not always the same doc, some small in size, some not so small. For example, if she opens file A, she can view/save. Then opens file B, which will not save. Go back in and file B opens/saves.
As for what program created the PDF, that I don't know.
We use Lotus Note as our email client.

i have problem with adole reader 9. if i installed on PC i can able to use only PDF file but can not able to use any other executable file.
all other executable flogo show icon of adobe reader.
For using other executable file i need to remove adoble reader installer from operating system and then only i can able to use other application on my PC.
Kindly sugest me as i facing this problem since long time. your prompt revert would be appriceated.

Not able to open adobe reader 8.1.2, upgrade or uninstall

I am using Windows 7 operating system. My adobe was working a couple of months ago, but now I get an error when I try to open it. It is not able to find the network location (?) and gives me a repeated fatal error. I have tried to uninstall the original program but it won't allow me to do that either, the same if I try to upgrade. I need this for both school and work. Any ideas?

Every time I try to download Adobe apps for which we pay automatically every month...I cannot get anything but a response from adobe apart from the 'TRIAL' site.
What is Adobe doing to direct this traffic to the proper request site to solve the problems? I have had to employ the PC instead of the much preferred Macintosh to do adobe work. the subscription works on PC...but the subscription does not function on the Mac....the original platform on which I installed and used it...updated it ...etc. for over a year.

I have followed all instructions about changes to IE settings. I unistalled the old version of flashplayer. I turned off the firewall. Turned off the system mechanic malaware program. I am using IE 10. Could this be the problem?

I'm running windows xp SP 3 with I.E. 8. The download site does not present me with the pop-ups during the download process. I press ctrl to allow pop-ups when attempting to download.
