I AM NOT ABLE TO OPEN ANY APP ON MY IPAD,DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW AND WHY THIS HAD HAPPENED?
I am not able to open any app on my ipad2..while trying to open an app it just shake the screen and it does not get open...
can anyone tell me how and why this is taking place?
if anyone knows how to recover this then please reply.

When opening the Coloursync utility and pressing the verify button, I received an error message (copy below) stating that the Tag 'cprt':Text tag has an incorrect length which could not be fixed as the file is locked. Does anyone know how to rectify this?

I followed the steps to unlock the .icc file in the "getinfo" screen then went on clicking repair in colorsync utility.
This is the message i got:

Repair done - 1 profiles fixed.
However, when i hit verify again it shows up like this:

when i open the .icc file it shows up like this:

New to mac so I really don't know what to do.
I didn't get this message so far. What i did before getting this message was to open a jpeg file. I wanted to edit it so when i did right click on the file i went to open with, and colorsync came as an option; so i chose it.
Then this message started comming up.
Is there anything i can do?

My UR12 Steinberg interface is recognized by Yosemite but I can't get any output from the device, does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance
Apparently it's related to the Firefox plug in.
This isn't exactly a solution but more of a way to avoid opening PDFs with Firefox's plug in.
1. Highlight "Tools" from the Menu Bar in the top left of the screen (or click "Options" if using the Firefox Compact Menu)
2. Select to "Options
3. Select "Applications"
4. Look for "Adobe Acrobat Document" under Content Type and to the right under Action select "Use Adobe Reader (default)" instead of the using Adobe Acrobat in Firefox
5. Open a test PDF. It should open in it's own window now.
Again, not a complete solution but something that'll at least let you scroll with PDFs open.

I used to see the "Private" in the bottom left cornor of the Bookmarks function when I would go to select a bookmark or retrace my history in Safari. Now I cannot find it anymore. I also am not able to "Clear" my safari history unless I go through several steps, instead of being able to just hit the "Clear" on the bottom right hand corner in Bookmarks, which is still there, but I cannot select it. Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

I have an iPhone 4 with 7.1, but I'm seeing the same Private indicator for both the Reading List and the Web page list.
When you say you have to go through several steps to clear your History, are you talking about doing it via Settings>Safari? If not, then that would at least be a fairly quick way to do it.
Since Private is not showing for you on either the Reading list or the Web page list, try a reset on your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, go back into Safari and see if anything has changed.
In the mean time, I'm going to continue to look around to see if there is something that controls that (like enable "Private Browsing"....or something along those lines). I'll post back if I find anything....

I not able to connect the remote to new iMac, does anyone know how it's done?
I have a new iMac and am unable to connect the remote. I have done a search and can find nothing so far that will help me, it's like the new iMac has no IR receiver.

I was able to use the remote app I had on my phone, however I had to home share. I think it is much better this way anyway I am able to see what I want from my computer on my phone. I'm happy again

I just update my ipad 1 to software version 4.3.3. I am not able to use any apps on my ipad now. What do i do ??
You could close all your apps on the taskbar and then try a reset.
To close apps completely, from your homescreen double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar; press and hold one of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds so that they start to shake; press the '-' symbol in the top left corner to close each app; touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to close the taskbar.
To reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try restoring from your backup. -
My wishlist is not working in the app store on my ipad it is woking fine in itunes store so i can add films and music but the icon "add to wish list" is not available on the app store so does anyone know how to fix this
The wish list only works on apps you have to pay for. To get it tap the icon of the app you want to save. After it opens at the upper right corner is a box with a arrow. Tap that then tap add to wish list list in the box that opens.

I just got a new white iphone 4. When I try to take a video using the camera app, there is only a muffled sound. I never had this problem with my old iphone. I tried to restore it and that didn't help. I checked over all of the settings. Does anyone know how to fix this?? Thanks for any help you can offer!
There is a good possibility that your trimming of the SIM card could have damaged it some way. If the SIM was working in the old phone, then you cut it and the first new phone didn't work and now this phone doesn't work, it leads me to believe it has to do with the SIM card or the account. You are sure there is no problem with the account. Did you check with the provider when you got the iPhone 4 to make sure there was no problem with the account when you could not send or receive SMS? Why can't you just get a micro-sim? The iPhone should have come with one when you purchased it.The iPhone 4 is designed for a micro-sim. I don't believe this is a hardware problem unless the phone has been hacked or modified in some manner.

I can't delete apps on my iPad does anybody knows how to fix it. Also I can't open any iWork apps ,they open but won't show anything.
If the whole iPad freezes then something else is going on. Try this next. Close all apps in the recents tray and restart your iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
my ipad screen is black and will not reset and does not come back after restoring, the info is still on internal because i can see it on itunes in the apps catagory it's the display is not working, can see backlight but black...does anyone know how to fix, other than take it to apple.

I recently bought an Epson Artisan 837 printer. I installed the driver and now Photoshop from CS3 will not open. It closes every time it gets to the point where it is loading the Twain portion. Does anyone know how to fix this so my printer and Photoshop will work together? Thanks for any help I can get!

But, no, don't look to Epson for fixes to their driver in newer versions, and Adobe has deprecated the TWAIN plug-in. Hoping for a solution there is futile. That has not happened and it's never going to happen. The consensus is that it's pretty foolish to tie up Photoshop to scan. Honestly.
Any improvement in the behavior of newer versions of the Epson drivers in that regard would be pure coincidence.
You need to understand that you never, ever scan "within" Photoshop, as Photoshop has no scanning capabilities whatsoever. When you use the Import > Twain plug-in all you are doing is blocking Photoshop while you call up the stand-alone Epson scanning software. If you think about it, its most inefficient.
VueScan has a pretty powerful scanning plug-in that can be called from the Impost menu—if you insist. VueScan is not free, but it's a pretty good value, IMO.
As for the Epson CD printing software, I have no clue. Sorry.
