Hi ...
According to the site > http://www.apple.com/finalcutpro/trial/
The trial version is only good for 30 days. Perhaps yours has expired.
"Final Cut Pro X requires a Mac with OS X v10.6.8 or OS X v10.7.2 or later (for broadcast-quality monitoring), an Intel Core 2 Duo processor or better, 2GB of RAM (4GB of RAM recommended), and an OpenCL-capable graphics card or Intel HD Graphics 3000 or later. See minimum system requirements for details".
Trial versions start from the first day you used the software.

Unable to open firefox - get message that " a copy is already open and only one copy can be open at a time. I have dragged the app to the waste basket and downloaded another firefox app. However same result". I have a IMAC , V.10.6.3.
I get above message when I click on the firefox icon. This worked, I used the method described in this link http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=365156, and opened the Mozilla profile screen with the terminal on my mac, using the language given in the links. Then I duplicated my original profile to save the bookmarks, etc. Put them in a folder listed Duplicate profile with the date. With the open profile screen, I deleted my original profile, created new profile folder and then a new profile. Note that profile cannot be created in the system library, it must be created on the disc, because the library will not allow writing into it. After I created my new profile folder, I dragged all my old information into it, and it worked. Firefox closed and the error disappeared. You must be VERY careful to make sure Firefox is closed anytime you are doing anything with the profile folders. I think that is what caused my original problem.

Hi prubright, '''try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if you can start firefox with that way. [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode|Firefox Safe Mode]] is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows onWindows: Hold the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".

'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the [[Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems]] article to find the cause.

THE PHOTOSHOP ICON 64-BIT DOESN'T OPEN ANYMORE THE PROGRAM. I GET A MESSAGE THAT IT CAN NOT BE FOUND IN THE DYNAMIC LIBRARY. WHAT TO DO TO RESTORE IT AND OPEN THE PROGRAM?
Urazurrutia which operating system are you using? I would recommend removing and reinstalling Photoshop to restore the application. What specific version of Photoshop are you facing difficulties with?

Changed pinned Firefox icon, but it returns to default when opening. Help?
I have two different profiles of Firefox pinned to my Win7 taskbar. I changed the icon on one of them to distinguish between them, but the change is only visible when FF is closed. Once I open the Firefox with the changed icon, it switches back to the default icon, the same as the other pinned profile.
I tried deleting the icon thumbnail database, no change.
How do I make the icon stay changed when opening Firefox? This sounds rather like it is a question relating to the Windows Operating System rather than Firefox itself. You may get an answer faster on some Windows forum.
Or maybe do websearch e.g.

The only way I can get Firefox to open is if I right click on the shortcut icon and select "open as administrator"

Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:

I am running Mac OSX 10.6.6. After running Firefox with no problem, it now won't open. When I attempt to open Firefox a "Close Firefox" dialogue box says " A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time".
I searched my computer, threw out all firefox related items and when I download a new Firefox App. the same dialogue box still appears. How can I find the hidden application, close it and successfully open Firefox?Have you deleted the original files you copied? Deleting means moving to the Trash and emptying the Trash.

My website:
http://www.backwaterstudio.com
Windows XP, latest Firefox
Weebly website
Facebook social plugins stopped working and G+ Plugins stopped working - actually stopped showing up in Firefox, but working just fine in Internet explorer.
Here is the Facebook plugin Discussion Forum - not showing up in Firefox:
http://www.backwaterstudio.com/discussion-forum-and-feedback.html
Updated Flash and Java: No change
Cleared Cache: No Change
They worked fine for two years and just quit a few days ago. That was exactly the problem.....an issue with the add ons
I followed your instructions to the nth degree and, bingo, it was "fixed".
Interesting that I had not uploaded or changed anything prior - I am so careful about that. Something had gone corrupt though.
Your the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
I have gone to 'options' many times to set it to always open with my home page, but it continues to open with the tabs I had open when I closed Firefox.I there a problem with Firefox 30.0?
You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once pref to true.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

The problem occurs on every opening of the Home Page, either on opening Firefox or opening a new tab with the home page. Link is: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/How%20to%20set%20the%20home%20page
By the way, what is the getplusadobe16287 plug-in for?Solved it. Turns out that when I set my homepage, I inadvertently set myself 2 home pages. By going into "Options", on the General tab, I simply deleted the second home page. Figure I'll work out what the plugin is as well.

Every time I open Firefox 4 a popup box keeps trying to get me to run setup again. The box always reads: "Opening Firefox Setup 4.0.1.exe, Binary File from...." followed by a link address, which is different every time. Recent addresses: http://mirror.umoss.org.......also http://mozilla.mirrors.tds.net....also http://mozilla.ussg.indiana.edu
and so on.
Help! Thanks!I am having the same problem and it seems to have just started (6/15/11). I have tried reloading the program several times and even the first release of the 4.o with no success. The same scenario also occurs when I click to open a new "tab" after the browser is already launched.
-
This happened with 4.0 and previous version.
You could try Ctrl - Shift - Esc to open the Task Manager. Click the Processes TAB. Click the Image Name column header to sort the list. Locate firefox.exe. Right click it and click 'End Process'. Then try opening Firefox again.
No need to reboot.
