I am not able to print from iPad with a hp photosmart c4795

I do not know if my printer has airprint. When I select printer from my iPad it says no printer found. It is a wireless printer and we currently can use it with our desktop Mac. Any help appreciated.

Hi,
Your printer is not an Airprint printer (not in the following list) therefore iPad can't see it using AirPrint:

Please use the following app on iPad to print:

I'm not able to print from my iPad. Any suggestions?

    1. Buy a AirPrint enabled printer; see list below
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
    2. Run the CD provided and setup as network printer; this will setup your printer to the same network as your iPad

  • User not able to print from SAP

    Hi guys,
User is not able to print from SAP. The printer is directly connected to his PC. It is not a network printer. The user is able to print at OS level perfectly. IN SP01, it shows in green and the print job has been completed successfully. I can see the output request. Its all fine in SAP. I am not sure why it is not printing from SAP. Please help ?
    Thanks

    hi venkata,
did you already defined your printer on SAP Server using tcode SPAD ?
What kind of printing you're using ?
My suggest for simplest one is create new output devices.
    Type tcode SPAD
    Give simple name
Choose SAPWIN for device type (if you're using WIndows clients)
    On Access Method tab
Choose Host Spool Access Method F : Front end Printing or G :
For Host Printer fill with __DEFAULT (remember double underscore)
    save and test it.

  • I used to be able to print from ipad and iPhone and now it doesn't why?, I used to be able to print from ipad and iPhone and now it doesn't why?

I used to be able to print from my ipad and iphone5 but can't now. Why?

does it not show a printer when you use airprint? were you using airprint or a thirdparty app to print? Some basic steps would to be power cycle your iPad and iPhone and also the printer, and make sure they are all on the same wireless network if you are using air print.

  • Can't print from iPad to brand new Photosmart Prem eAIO C310 - says "No AirPrint Printers Found"

I spent 70 mins on the phone with Apple.  They couldn't get it to work.  Have ios 5 on the iPad and have reset it to brand new settings twice.  Have both the ipad and the printer sitting within 3 feet of the router.
The printer  works seamlessly with a laptop using Vista and another laptop using Windows 7.
It is only with the iPad that it won't work - and that is the only reason I bought this printer, so I could print from the iPad.
I have followed 5 of the 6 steps in order on the "The Printer is not Found,' 'No Printers Found,' or 'Printer is Offline' Message Displays on the iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch" HP help document.
The only thing I haven't done is verify that my router can forward Bonjour packets. (we are doing that right now)
The bluetooth setting on the iPad is off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello suesheldon,
I’m sorry to hear that you are having and issue but here are a few questions/suggestions:
Does the printer have the most current updates
Have you ever been able to print from your iPhone before?
Try a AdHoc Connection Test.  This connect the Ipad to the printer bypassing the router.
Start by restoring network defaults on the printer-go to setup-wireless-restore network defaults-yes
Once defaults have been restored turn on the wireless connection on the printer. -  do NOT connect it to your wireless network at this time.
On you Ipad got to Settings-Wifi-Choose a network-  look for the network that starts with HPC310 and select it.
Wait about 3 minutes to make sure the ad hoc connection is established.
Once this is done try to print.  If it prints, then the issues is most likely in the router.

  • I'm not able to pair my iPad with my Logitech mini-Boombox. I was able to do this on my original iPad. I was having a problem on an unrelated matter, and the Apple store replaced it with a new device. Previously, all Bluetooth devices worked fine;

I'm not able to pair my iPad via Bluetooth with my Logitech mini-Boombox. I recently brought my iPad to the Apple Store for an unrelated problem, and they replaced it with a new device. The old device had no problem pairing with any of my Bluetooth devices. I'm only haveing the problem with my new device. I was able to pair it with my Apple wireless keyboard, but not the mini-Boombox. I think I've done everything that I've read in other forum posts: I've toggled the Bluetooth setting on and off; I've reset the iPad a couple times; I've turned off and on the mini-Boombox; I've recharged the mini-Boombox. What am I missing here, and how can I fix this?

  • 32bit windows client PC not able to print from TS server 2008 64bit

I had a HP M1216NFH printer install at branch office. The branch user will need to remote connect to Terminal Server to access the stock program and print the order back to M1216NFH printer. But none of the branch user are able to print remotely.
The Terminal Server is running on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64bit version, and all the branch users are using 32bit Windows 7 and XP version. The printer redirection is created during remote session, and user is able to select the printer to print, but is nothing come out from the printer.
I had install x86 printer driver, but is still not working. Server is auto using remote desktop easy print driver when printer redirection in remote session.
I did try connect branch user PC to another Terminal Server running on WIndows Server 2003 R2 Standard 32bit version, and tested is no problem to print.
Can anyone guide me what is the step that i was miss out for Windows Server 64bit configuration in order to allow 32bit windows client to print?
    Thank you.

I believe the only way to print client side from a web app would be to use the ActiveX print control off of the viewer (disregarding the ugly way of using the browsers print button).
If there is another way I am sure someone will correct me

  • Not able to print from an "online" source

I have set-up my HP Officejet 6500 a network printer on my home network and shared it.  When I try to print from an "online" source (webpages, AOL mail) the printer does not print.  However, when I print from a program on the computer (adobe, word) or do a test page, it prints just fine.
Is there a setting for explorer 9 that limits printing to a network printer?

Have an HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One. Can not get it to print from online sources. Test print works fine.Have disabled fire wall and no improvement.

  • Printing from iPad with no wi-fi?

I've been researching this for a while and have found some ideas, but nothing satisfactory. My grandmother lives in the country where only dial-up or satellite internet access is available. Dial-up greatly limits her, and satellite is too expensive. I got her an iPad for her birthday and I think the 3G connection will be a happy medium, and less expensive for what she does. However, she prints things sometimes, but her printer is several years old and does not have wi-fi capability, nor does she have a wi-fi network set up in her house. Here's what I've come across so far, and I'd like some suggestions on the best route to take.
    1. Use her existing eMac (running either Panther or Tiger) and create a wi-fi network, and use printer sharing. I'm not sure if the older versions of OSX allow you to do this, or even how to set that up in the Network or Sharing Preferences. Also, if she needs to print, she'd have to switch from 3G to wi-fi, which is a hassle and a burden for a 79 year-old.
    2. Get an Airport Express and set up a local wi-fi network, plug the USB printer into it, thereby making the printer wireless. Again there's the problem of having to switch between 3G and wi-fi.
    3. Find an HP printer that supports airprint and can create it's own network without wi-fi, such as the Envy (which is too expensive for me). I don't know if HP makes less expensive printers that create their own network. Also, I don't know if she has to switch between 3G and wi-fi to do this, or if the iPad will pick up the printer without leaving 3G.
Lastly, this needs to be a permanent connection that doesn't have to be set up everytime she prints. I live 2 hours away, so whatever is easier for her is better. Thanks so much!

With the AirPrint application/utility, mentioned earlier, you should be able to keep your existing printer attached to your eMac (running Tiger 10.4). The mLabs website mentions configuring your existing printers, and the existing printer will be advertised over AirPrint (WiFi).  This should help you save from having to buy a new printer.  If the printer still works, I say use it!  Try to keep the total advertised AirPrint Printer combined network path and printer name to less than 63 characters total.
With regard to the Airport Express, I suspect that you may need to get one.  They serve as a central point, i.e. communications hub.  I'm new to this and not real sure about following. I suspect that the computer and iOS device, with respect to WiFi, will use the same frequency to transmit and receive. Since they are both clients to a router/switch/hub I suspect both (iPad & eMac) would use the same WiFi frequency for transmit and receive.  If both use the same frequency to transmit then there will be a communication problem when trying to talk directly to one another.  Same for the receiving.  I suspect the Airport Express may service as a transition point and the computer must advertise the AirPrint printer over the network (in your home) via the Airport Express.
Your eMac, when purchased, could have been installed with an airport card providing WiFi with 803.11b protocol.  If no airport card then your looking at connecting your eMac by way of 10/100Base-T Ethernet to the AirPort Express via wire cable.  Lets assume you'll be using a ethernet cable for your computer connection.  This would make your connection look like an eMac with a direct connected printer, AirPrint software application, and the preferences set to allow the printer to be a network shared printer.
On your #1 line item, you probably won't have to switch from 3G to WiFi.  You will just supplement the 3G with the addition of WiFi to allow printing from the iPad.  The iPad will normally operate on the 3G, but when it comes to printing, the iPad will kick-in the WiFi.  The iPad has the ability to use both WiFi & 3G.  To the user it will appear as if both are working at the same time (seamless).  Remember the iPad does not and will not contain specific printer drivers, it only has a printer address to sent a job (image) to. The print job will be received by the AirPrint application on your eMac (computer required to be on, up, and running), the AirPrint application will then, using the appropriate printer driver within your eMac, convert the printer job (image) to the printer binary and send it to the printer directly.
On your #2 line item, unless the printer you connect to the USB port is AirPrint ready (or "ePrint-enabled" for HP printers), it will not properly serve as a printer for your iPad. Remember the printer drivers, or lack thereof, is the issue here; the iPad doesn't and won't have any.  With your existing printer the AirPort Express will only serve as the hub to your home network. Print jobs will go from your iPad via Wifi and then to the computer via 10/100Base-T Ethernet... Don't get me wrong here, if you did get a non-AirPrint (non-e-Print enabled) printer connected via USB to the AirPort Express, it could serve as a network printer for other computers; other computers that utilized their own printer drivers. But it would not serve as a solution for your Grandmother's iPad.  If your going to connect a printer to the AirPort Express it has to be Airprint or ePrint-enabled.
If the printer you connect to the Airport Express USB port is ePrint-enabled, then you would not need your eMac to do the translating of the print job image to the printer binary.  When checking HP website titled:
HP AirPrint Compatible Wireless Products - How to Use Apple's AirPrint Over a Wireless Network
Frequently asked questions (FAQs) about AirPrint
    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&task Id=115&prodSeriesId=4073853&prodTypeId=18972&objectID=c02623193
This is where you have to decide. If you want to use your existing printer, then you will have to have the eMac on,up, and running whenever your Grandmother wants to print.  Otherwise, for the convenience, you will have to purchase an AirPrint or e-Print ready printer.  If you do decide to get an HP e-Print ready printer, HP recommends updating its firmware-Indicated in above HP web site.
On your #3 line item:  I see 3 options:
    1. Use existing eMac, existing printer, and purchase AirPort Express. This is probably the cheapest alternative (in materials) but requires the eMac to be on, up, and running to print.
    2. Purchase an e-Print ready printer, and purchase AirPort Express. Cost is a bit more.
    3. Purchase AirPort ready printer. Cost?
For now, option 1 looks good.  If your Grandmother is unhappy with keeping the computer on, then add an e-Print enabled printer via USB or Ethernet cable. But you decide on what your needs are and stay within your budgets.

  • Printing From iPad with iOS 4.2

Question about the following HP Q&A answer:
AirPrint will enable iPad, iPhone and iPod touch customers using iOS 4.2 to print wirelessly from select apps - no set up or downloads required. Customers will be able to automatically find a printer on their wireless network and print to it with one touch. HP's existing and upcoming ePrint enabled printers will be the first to support AirPrint from iOS 4.2 devices, making it easy for customers to print anytime, anywhere.
Does 'on their wireless network' mean the printer must be networked via a computer?  Or can the printer be stand-alone?
    Thanks.

    007OHMSS wrote:
The printer will do this stand-alone. It does not need a PC to interact.
Is this still confirmed to be the case?
I have spent the entire evening tonight trying to setup my friend's iPad to work with the C310a.  The printer seems to want to be connected to an existing network and everything I'm reading from other people seems to indicate the same thing.  (However, since Apple took out shared printing I would think that reinforce the fact it doesn't need to be on a network, but…)
The iPad cannot find the printer at all.  It doesn't seem like there is much help anywhere on this topic.

    Hi wigglyworld22,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are unable to print pdf documents from the internet to your Deskjet 1000 printer.
HP ePrint is designed to let you print from virtually anywhere to an HP printer that supports ePrint. If you are just printing from your computer at home I would download and install the full feature software and drivers for the printer.  I have included a document on how to install your printer using Windows 8.1.

  • Is anyone able to print from intel Mac using HP photosmart 7350?

I am trying to setup an intel 24" iMac, running OS 10.4.8 or 10.4.10, to print to an HP photosmart 7350. Printer works fine from an old PPC Mac, running 10.4.8, and other printers working fine from the iMac.
I'm moderately Mac-savvy, having had one or more on my desk for the last twenty years, and have exhausted my litany of workarounds, reinstalls, reboots etc etc etc.
Printer doesn't appear to be supported in intel OS install for 10.4.8+.
Has anyone actually got an HP photosmart 7350 printing from an intel Mac? If so i'd appreciate your advice on how you achieved this.
    Cheers
    Dougal

    Alas no joy.
I've installed and played-around-with the gutenprint drivers and I can 'see' and select them to drive the printer. I have not yet managed to get a half-decent print out of them. Either nothing happens, or the paper tractors right through the printer with no print added, or some of the image is printed compressed in on itself in the upper cm of the page.
At least they are communicating with the printer.
I think I'll plug the photosmart 7350 into the old PPC Mac and transport files over to that box for printing colour.
Thanks for the lead, an area I've not explored before.

  • Not able to print from Win 7 running in Parellels after upgrade to Lion

After upgrading to Lion it seems like the printing jobs submitted from Win7 running in Parallels is not working. Has anyone experineced something similar, and have a suggestion on how to solve this issue?

I just did, but it is still not working. I can see the printjob in the print queue, but it seems like it is not passed through to the printer in OS X.
