I was able to get window open from the help "window" and open sites from there just not from new: window tab or bookmarks those stay invisible? I tried the help suggestions, safemode,etc.

I can hear sound but cannot see anything on my iphone

I was deleting apps so I had enough room to run the new update, and the screen just shut off. I can hear when I get phone calls, texts, etc. but cannot see anything. Anyone know how to fix this?

Music plays fine in itunes but starts at the middle of songs on ipod touch4

I hope that someone can and will help me... I have had several problems getting this itouch to work. I had to convert all music to mp3 files from AAC...that got the songs to "play" on the itouch but now they start in random places and all the sudden jump to the beginning then jump to the end. I DO NOT want to have to restore, that freezes my ipod touch and I have to take it to someone to get it straightened out. We updated itunes and that seemed to help, but I am terrified to have to start over for the 7th time in the 4 days I have owned this ipod!
Is there anyway to work around itunes? That seems to be my main problem. I have a 2nd gen Nano that works perfectly fine with itunes and plays all songs correctly.
ANY help would be REALLY appreciated!!

I am operating windows 7 on a Toshiba laptop (new in Dec)...if that helps.

Well, since the iPad doesn't use Flash (it's incompatible with iOS), the video is probably HTML5... or you're using SkyFire on the iPad, and it uses "Server side" rendering fo Flash content if the video ISN'T HMTL5.
Usually, video problems are caused by outdated or corrupted video drivers. Check them and update if necessary: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/945765

hi wondered if anyone can help I have had my iphone for 4 weeks and when the battery went dead i had plugged it in to re-charge. On doing so the phone has just frozen ona white screen. I have tried turning it on and off and i can hear when messages arrive but i can see nothing.

That happened to my iPhone once. It seems that a connector had come loose. No amount of resets or restores would help. It required a trip to my local Apple Retail Store where they replaced the screen and had me on my way in 10 minutes at no charge.

Have you tried deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-trying the photo sync and see if they all then copy over (you need to select and sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go, as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad) ? Don't know about the Facebook photo emailing, but there are a number of apps that allow to upload photos to their site (e.g. the 'official' Facebook app).

Good point BDAqua, the Escape key helps get me back to reality in Lion.
While I've only dabbled around a little in Lion since it's release (I upgraded a 10.6 Clone to Lion on one of my FireWire Drives) now I'm currently downloading Mountain Lion (to upgrade a Clone of that Lion Clone) so that now I can continue to move forward in madness.

If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar on it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - when connected (and if your computer's iTunes is up-to-date) your iPad should then appear on that sidebar under a 'Devices' heading :
If you select the iPad on that sidebar you can then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync that film to your iPad's Videos app.

The username and password for the share on your attached drive can be anything you want them to be. I assume you set up a share on the attached drive? That's where you need to add a password for the share, although for ease of use I never did assign a password to the shares.
You do know that the firmware for the Storage Link is buggy, right? File size limitations as well as file corruption issues? Connectivity issues also rise up, with the only workaround that I have found is a script that you have to run every time you boot up your computer. As far as I can see the Storage Link function is a poorly implemented idea. No firmware in sight to fix the issues, and no idea of when.
