I am not able to use Magic Bullet Looks with the After Effects trial

I am having troubles with downloading a trial. I am currently trying to find ways to edit videos using Magic Bullet Looks. I have found many ways, but when I go to download the Magic Bullet looks, it says After Effects cs6. For some reason it does not install even though I have the trial version of After Effects. So when I open After Effects, and go to the effects tab, it does not show up. I have looked on tutorials and many other ways.
I also tried downloading the trial of After Effects at, http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.htmlrfer

If you're having difficulty installing or using Magic Bullet Looks, then I recommend asking the folks who make that plug-in, Red Giant:

I didn't get this issue when i was using Adobe After Effects CC (Version 12.2) instead of After Effects CC 2014 (Version 13.1.13)
Here is the issue:
When i add Magic Bullet Looks onto my clip and then press edit:

After i hover over or click on a preset from the "Looks" tab and then after effects says "Not Responding" and I also get an error message saying "After Effects error: crash occured while invoking effect plug-in "Magic Bullet Looks.":

Why does Magic Bullet looks crash my After Effects and computer when I open it?
I don't really know how else to explain. I've tried re-installing both. I don't know what else to do. I'm on After Effects CS5.
Just updated my display drivers.
Then un-update them. MBL is, after all, driven by OpenGL and may frown on the slightest variation there. Also inquire with Red Giant Software what driver versions they support.

i dont know what the problem is everything else works my photoshop runs really well its just when i try to use magic bullet looks then it gives me the error message
Contact Red Giant and see if they have an update to the plugin that fixes the bugs in the plugin that are preventing it from working correctly.

64 bitsI did a quick google search for "Magic Bullet Looks plugin" The first one I found does not even seen to be a Photoshop Plug-in Is this the plug-in your trying to use in Photoshop? Seems to be for video editing software. Photoshop can do limited video editing but is not listed as supported by this plugin.

I just updated to the new final cut pro x 10.1.1 and i am also on mavericks so but on my editing timeline i was trying to color grade using magic bullet looks but i am having problem with it. When i send a sample to MBL and color grade it , it comes back to final cut pro x all black even after render. By the way on the MBL i am using the GPU rendering, I used before like 4months ago and it was fine. And i don't like to use the CPU because it very slow.
What is the frame rate of the project? At what frame rate was the media recorded? What frame size?
What are the audio settings?
What are the specs of the machine, in particular how much RAM, how is the hard drive connected, etc.?
If possible, post screenshots of the inspector for the project.
It could be related to the audio frequency? -
I have the old airport express but my iPad 3 is not able to connect to it even with the app downloaded. What can I do?
Use a windows computer.. or ask a friend to bring a windows laptop and use the 5.6 version windows utility.

FCP Crashes while using Magic Bullet Looks
Hi All,
We have recently installed Magic Bullet Looks onto our main edit machine. However, using it causes FCP to crash with really annoying regularity. It seems to be related to either auto save or thumbnails (opening a sequence with Looks applied and it will crash while loading the thumbnails onto the timeline for example - that could be a coincidence as it crashes in many other situations as well but always when working with MBL))
I've tried the usual preference trashing things but can't stop it happening. Anyone had any similar issues that they've been able to resolve? We aren't yet running Snow Leopard but I may try that as a potential solution.
If it matters - the machine is dual 3.2 quad core with 6GB of RAM running FCP 7. It also has a Blackmagic Extreme card (tried turning external video off - no difference)

RichardCouldn't agree more Jim - hence why I'm not using Snow Leopard yet as I had a nightmare in the early adoption of an older operating system. As for MBL, there seem to be many using it without problems so I don't think it's an issue with the product per say and it really is a very good plug-in. (That view will change to excellent once the problems go away) I just need to get to the bottom of which square peg is destined for which round hole and I'm hopeful that all will be well. I've also submitted a support question to Magic Bullet so will update if I get a solution. I like the CleanApp idea. I'll try that as well. (and I may even give Snow Leopard a go!)

Quicken Essentials 2010 has less features than Quciken 2007. Keeping track of investments is one feature I need and Quicken Essentials does not include that function. I may have to consider others financial software, such as iBank4, Money4, iFinance, and Money Well.

Sign out from your pple Id on your Device and Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and then Sign In with your Apple Id here and Under your Primary Email Address click on Resend Next to Verification Email Sent. Now Go to your Email Account and Verify your Apple Id again by clicking in the Link inside the Mail that you might have received from Apple. Now Sign In on your Device and try to make a Purchase and if it is for the first time then you will be asked to Review your Account and if you have entered your Credit/Debit card in your Account then you will have to just Enter your 3 Digits CVV Number and then click on Done. And then you can try downloading any Application from AppStore or Music from iTunes Store and check if its working. -

You can't remove the Passcode if you can't remember it.
You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.

100% cpu AE7 using Magic Bullet Look Suite 2.0
Hi
My pc is over 2Ghz and has 2 gigs of Ram and a high speed hard drive. My video is onboard but usually does very well with video rendering.
The only problem I seem to have is with Look Suite 2.0. I dont bother trying out the latest because it doesnt work with onboard video.
Anyway, 2.0 used to work perfectly fine for the 2 weeks I was rendering. But, recently it started giving me the "unknown exception caught by look suite" error. There does not seem to be a real fix for this.
But I monitored task manager for awhile while compiling projects. Loading effects filters like Curves, Twixtor and others didnt phase the CPU a bit. But after loading Look Suite and going through the presets, all of suddent the cpu went 100% and never came back down as long as AE7 is open. Even if I disable the plugins nothing changes.
So I tried saving the project with the plugins disabled in the composition. Then closed AE and reopened the project. Instant 100% cpu. Next, I deleted the Look Suite plugin from the composition. Reopened the project and everything was perfectly fine.
LOOK SUITE has some kind of incompatibility issue either with AE7 or another plugin that was running. I cannot be sure.
But the bottom line is this. Who's responsible? Adobe or Red Giant?
Red Giant doesn't seem to have a clue what to do. I dont want to upgrade to a version that works only with higher end graphics. I tried changing memory settings in AE and it really isnt needed. I am guessing the "unknown exception" is caused from the CPU overload because it pegs out the cpu while rendering and uses more and more of the page file as it runs, until it finally fails. But if Looks Suite wasn't already loading up on the cpu I would not have a problem. And, a week ago it wasn't hogging the resources. SOmething went snap.
Sorry for the long rambling.Nope, CPU usage and RAM usage are more or less unrelated. CPU usage is merely dependent on the number of threads/ sub-threads/ handles fired by a program and since the Celeron D only handles a limited number of them, it is quite predictable that it will frequently peak an queue requests it cannot process immediately, when e.g. on a Xeon the same operation would barely register. Updating the processor may improve performance, but it mostly depends on the kind of effects you are using. If they are not particularly computationally intensive like several color correction effects, the benefits will be minor. if on the other hand you use a lot of Blurs and Glows for instance, the speedup may be considerable. Regardles of this, having lots of RAM and processing power is never a bad idea ;-)

Not able to use HANA Online Scenrios with PAL algorithms
Hi everybody,
I just created a scenario using SAP PA 1.15 and SAP HANA SPS7 Rev 73.
I wasnt able to use HANA Online scenarios except of HANA Apriori. I always get the same error:
Funny thing. I did the same thing in a different landscape. Same PA version, same HANA revision --> Same error message!
Another aspect is that all the R algorithms are working fine!
I created a lot of scenarios using HANA online algorithms a couple of month ago with the old version of PA and HANA SPS6 and it actually worked out find.
Any thoughts, any ideas or same problems?

I'm not able to create a iphoto calendar with the correct birthday entries.

I use the latest Iphoto version and OS X 10.9.
I tried to create a calendar in iphoto that includes all birthday information of my family. Unfortunately I'm not able to do this.
I tried two differnt ways to get the information into the calendar.
First of all I' tried to use the option of the calendar to get the information of my contacts and it partly worked. Some dates were missing and I was not able to modify or add additional birthdays in the calendar. I checked my contacts and the information was there but not shown in the Iphoto Calendar.
Therefore I have to get the information into the calendar in a different way. For that I created a new calendar in ICal and created for each Birthday entries.
I select the option in the Iphoto calendar to show the new calendar in iPhoto. But the result was worse than with the first solution. Only few entries was shown in the calender.
Do anybody have an idea how can I solve this issue.

Do the birthdays (from Contacts) show correctly in the Calendar app? Sometimes there is a formatting problem with the date string in the Contacts. If the Birthdays do not show correctly in the Calendar.app, try to delete them from Contacs and enter them again, and check, if they now are showing correctly in Calendar. Quit both Contacts and Calendar.
Then restart iPhoto, and in the "Settings" for your Photo Calendar disable the Birthdays option, and then turn it on again.
Any changes you do to the birthdays in Contacts may only appear in iPhoto Calendars after Calendar or Contacts wrote their databases, and iPhoto will read these databases, when you enable the "Birthdays" option. Toggling this option on and off will ensure, that the new Contacs info will be read.
