I am not happy with the GUI changes in Firefox 4+ versions

Please consider not making incomprehensible changes to the GUI. My "Home" icon has been in the same spot for 20 years. I had to revert to 3.6.4 to move it back.
While I'm in rant mode, rejecting any suggestion from a user who isn't using the latest version suggests complete idiocy.
Oh, and I'm still waiting for one of my first half dozen requests for my "confirmation" email to arrive. I had to register again to get here.
On the bright side, FF support rivals that of the largest corporations in the US.

You did not need to go back at all, Firefox is customizable, and you should have taken care of that part yourself. But you can do a lot more than what you mentioned -- here is how to make the current Firefox 5.0 look like Firefox 3.6.19 or Firefox 3.6.4 for that matter though you should not have gone back earlier than 3.6.19.

Hey everyone, since we didn't really get to physically see the phones and their sizes in person yet, I ordered the Plus and am sure I will end up being happy with the large screen size.
However I am a man who likes a few options, and at least one to sleep better at night.
If for some reason in the 14 days I receive the phone and am allowed to return it, can I exchange my phone (I paid upgrade rate), a 64gb plus 5.5, can I exchange this for a 4.7 64gb?

If you purchased the phone at the store, simply bring it back to the store. If you purchased online and had it delivered, it comes with instructions on how to return.
You can simply go back to your previous phone until the phone you want is in stock.

Have you noticed that the vastest majority of Firefox users
are looking for ways to return the interface to the one they know and love. Clearly this has been ignored. The changes have taken away all of the features people have been used to using for yonks, just to make it more geeky and user unfriendly to newbie's & 'old folks' like my 86year old mum.

I am not happy with the changes in Firefox 4+ versions.

Why do you keep focusing on HTML5 and CSS3 and browser speed improvements only? Firefox 4+ [5,6] crashes randomly! And what about the memory leaks? What about all of your users who want you to go back to the 3.5 setup? What about focusing on improving on what we liked instead of degrading your browsers like so?
This used to be my favorite browser but now it crashes so often and the interface is so ugly and then there are the memory leak problems. I am pretty sure I am not the only one disgruntled by your browsers now. I am leaving and so will many others.

The only way for you to upgrade is to return it and bring it back to Apple in 14 days and get your full money back.
The only way to get a better video card is to order a 27 inch iMac with the custom graphics chip option.
I am not sure if you can order this in an Apple store or not. The iMac options are listed on their online ordering site.
The custom GPU is a 1 or 2 GB VRAM GPU. It is only available in the 27 inch screen models.
If it has really been a full two weeks, you need to return this iMac like tomorrow.
Apple won't do the video upgrade for you as this is a non-upgradeable part by Apple standards.
If you attempt to upgrade/replace this GPU yourself, you void your 1 or 3 year AppleCare warranty with no hope of ever getting any free warranty work ever done on this iMac if anything should go wrong.
If your time for a full refund has passed, you need to sell this iMac so you can purchase an iMac with better specs and options.
Other than RAM, iMacs are not user upgradeable and you need to order the right iMac and combination of options options at actual time of purchase.

I asked a question about organizing bookmarks in my toolbar bookmark. I'm not happy with the "help" I got. I'm very frustrated. I need to talk to a technician. How can I get in touch with one? Do you have contact information?

Can't find out how to organize my bookmarks. can't do it after updating. Person tried to help, we had long conversations, I sent lots of images, it got to where I think the answer given were not related to the problem. You say you have a lot of duplicate bookmarks, and want to know how to organize bookmarks, but from the pictures shown, I really only see a news subscription, some sample bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar that you don't display on the toolbars so I don't see point in deleting anything there most of it are reports from the database or from a news subscription nothing of much concern, really. I would dump the news subscription if you don't use it.
How do you want to arrange your bookmarks, but you must keep within some boundaries of what was expected of the three major folders.
Bookmarks Menu -- this is your folder categorized bookmarks, originally all bookmarks were in this folder and the bookmarks toolbar was one folder within -- that has changed.
Bookmarks Toolbar -- intended to be visible on the toolbar with main bookmarks and folders spread out horizontally to save one level of drilling down into folders, with very few bookmarks and folders visible on the toolbar but quickly accessed. You can use the bookmarks showing essentially as buttons a few primary bookmarklets. You can have folder structure there so you could actually have thousands of bookmarks there within folders.
Unsorted Bookmarks (no folders within by intent not by restriction) -- new concept to not categorize bookmarks into folders because of bookmark tagging. Delicious.com will show you what they intended where you have lots of people. I think the concept of tagging breaks down with one person. The other reason bookmarks no longer had to be put into folders was the "AwesomeBar" feature of Firefox that is a great feature it will find bookmarks whatever folder they are in -- I hope you are familiar with it. You can throw bookmark separators into any folder but they are especially useful in the unsorted bookmarks folder, especially if you sort the folder. In other words a group probably within a date range.
So how do you see yourself categorizing your bookmarks ?
I'd like to get an idea of '''how many bookmarks '''you have altogether and how big your places.sqlite file is. To find out how many bookmarks you have all together bring up the Bookmarks Library list, place a colon (":") into the search field this will do a find on all of your bookmarks. At the bottom of the library window you will see the total number of bookmarks you may have to nudge the vertical scrollbar down, and as long as no bookmarks are selected you will see an '''item count'''.
Open your profile folder Help > Troubleshooting information... then click on "Open containing folder" then looking in bookmarkbackups folder and report size of last .json file in there -- hope you can see the extension the filenames have dates.
From the library list you can see if you actually do have a lot or any duplicated by eyeballing the list sorted by the location. You don't want to delete anything yet until you know what you want to do and what folders the bookmarks actually in, as you would not want to delete a categorized bookmark for an uncategorized one.
I have 1256 bookmarks, a bookmarks backup file (.json) is 1849 KB.
I have 750 of those bookmarks have a keyword shortcut -- most of my bookmarks may not actually be bookmarks to webpages.
Install the "Show Parent Folder" extension, it would be important for manually categorizing and deleting bookmarks.

The columns in the bookmarks library list that I show are
:Name, Location, Parent Folder, visit date, visit count, Keyword, Description, Last Modified
The important columns for eliminating duplicates are
:Name, Location, Parent Folder, Keyword, Description
:if you have Tags then that column would also be important not to delete the bookmark
Sort on Location look for duplicates, expect you won't find as many as you thought you would, because Firefox makes it difficult to create duplicates if you use the bookmarks star. I wouldn't delete any until you really know what you want to do, if you have duplicate you would not want to delete one a primary location based on parent directory or the one you use with a keyword.
I don't really think you have much to delete in your toolbars list, they are basically examples. Would highly recommend you keep something in the bookmarks toolbar even though you are not displaying it.
The only case of having major duplicates are if you have imported bookmarks at the bottom of your bookmarks menu also named bookmarks menu or something similar. You would see that in the parent folder column -- you cannot sort on the parent folder column.

Verizon, I am not happy with the note 3 reception

I am dripping calls everywhere! I had a RAZR Maxx prior to this and never ever had an issue. It's been almost 7 months since I got the note 3, I drop calls everywhere even in walmart! I have no reception many places in school where I did with my RAZR. What am I supposed to do if my family has an emergency and they can't get in touch with me because of this reception issue?
Engineers have escalated it, replaced my Sim and factory reset. No fixing the problem. I even swapped my phone with my wife's note 3 and the same thing happen! I have 3 little kids at home and need to be in touch with my medical community, I need a phone I can depend on. Not this type of garbage. What is going on with the note 3?!

Samsung Galaxy smart phones are great for so much---except for making calls. Its worse for call and sound quality. Get use to it.
But there are a few things you can do to improve drop calls, fading in and out, static and poor call quality.
1) Turn off all your bloatware applications that you are not using. Remove SIM card for a few minutes and then restart the phone.
You can turn off these apps yourself thru the App Manager, or you can use a security app like CLEAN MASTER to identify which apps you can turn off without harming your phone and walk you thru the steps. Steps are to a) Remove updates b) Turn Service Off c) Stop the Service. If your phone is Rooted, well you know what to do.
2) At least once a month or so, remove your SIM card for at least 5 mins and replace to refresh network connectivity.
3) Monitor your downloaded apps that you install. Certain apps with permissions can affect Network connectivity. I have had the Epic, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4...these tricks will help with your calls. If it gets too bad, use your warranty and get another phone. My experience is that every replacement I get from Verizon is crap, but my Assurion or Samsung replacements are great.
4) After you have done all the above, Dont hesitate to change your SIM card every so often. Pop into a Verizon store and get a new SIM Card or have them mail you one for free.

Who do i email if i am not happy with the repair service i have been given?

i sent my phone back for repair because it had something wrong with the sound/silence buttons, it was covered on my warranty and apple have done nothing to reduce the problem and have sent me back my phone which still has the problem with it, they said they would repair it and they haven't, how do i contact apple with this problem?

unfortunatley i don't live close to an apple store and contacting them via telephone or email is the only option

I'm not happy with the new Arch changes

Besides the KISS principle that Arch adheres to, what kept me with Arch for the first couple of weeks was the speed of updates (1.5MB/s for North America) from ftp.archlinux.org. I used to be able to install a full KDE system from the network in under 30 minutes. I have been an avid Arch user and advocate for at least a year now.
Then came the slowing down of my updates because of bandwidth throtteling on ftp.archlinux.org and having to change to a different mirror.
Now comes the announcement of moving to a kernel-based ISO release. This means more space needed on the mirrors and slower repos because of people downloading these new ISOs every time a new one is released.
As much as I love Arch and it's community I don't like the new direction Arch is taking.

I actually think it all makes alot of sense myself..... New iso matches new kernel .... that's pretty freakin simple The install iso's are just snapshots of the system at a point in time anyway..... at least now it's not a totally arbitrary point.
As for the mirror system, I like that alot now too, took me a while to rework my private mirror to the available rsyncable mirrors, but with Dale's help, it's working like a champ This makes sense too...... the archlinux.org mirror was being overrun as more members signed on and started running arch.... so "something" had to be done obviously.
However, DTW "It is not the job of the Arch team to babysit or account for the minority of idiots who mis-use/mis-understand the distro and its facilities. " ...... please don't forget that archlinux.org was/is set as the default repo for pacman in ALL new installs (even the most current iso, i checked) ....... seems like that might need to be changed in the next iso release. It was last time I looked, also the default server to mirror in the ArchLinux wiki tutorial on setting up mirrors...... so, the dev's shouldn't be to taken aback by some frustration on the part of normal users when this comes up. I guess I'm saying, no one's perfect, and the whole throttling down archlinux.org and shutting off rsync mirrors could have been handled a little better, but hindsight is 20/20. As more than one person stated in the other forum thread +1 ftp.archlinux.org should not be default (for pacman) if its usage is discouraged ......... kinda makes sense to me.......
raymano, anyone running a mirror isn't going to be bothered with downloading a gig or so of iso's when they come out, it won't be that big of a deal. If they are bothered by it, they can block the iso's from rsyncing and not mirror the iso files.

Verizon Wireless stores do not carry Droid X replacement - not happy with the service.

My Droid x screen went out, I took it back to the Verizon Wireless Store do not carry replacement and they will have to mail a replacement to me, since it is Friday I will not get the phone until Monday or Tuesday. I asked the tech person what do I use in the meantime, he said to use an old phone. The other option was to pay $100 to get a new replacement phone off the shelf. I explained to the tech person that I pay good money for the insurance and they should keep replacement phones in stock.

I have replaced phones under warranty through Motorola before and once I had one shipped to me from Motorola themselves, another occasion I had one sent by Asurion. I was a bit suspicious about the insurance replacement phone and talked to them directly. I had not been charged my deductible but my insurance did indeed show one claim, so I spoke to the carriers 800 number and had to get it all sorted, they sent me my replacement phone and I sent insurance their phone back.
So if you ever get a phone sent by the Insurance company, I'd call and ask them how many claims you have used.

So support tells me that my version is no longer supported and have to use creative cloud, that is not my way of doing things, To resume I have a few thousand bucks of programs that are obsolete? All the way back from the great Macromedia days, Flash, Dreamweaver, P Shop, Fireworks...etc..
