I am not pleased with firefox 6.02. How do I uninstall and re-install the 4.0?
I want the google tool bar restored!!
The keyboard and mouse still work, but when I click FILE, EXPORT, MEDIA, I get the spinning circle icon for several minutes. When I change the format in the export settings, that has a minute or so delay. When I click "export" or "Queue" I get another delay of several minutes. The encoding appears to be working fine, so I'm only concerned about the delays. Also, if I need to reinstall the entire CS5 suite, do I deactivate and reactivate and should I run the cleaner tool?

The receiver app has a specific list of servers it's compatible with, if the server is not on the list the app won't work in OS X.

whenever i try to download a rather large file i continue to get the "could not read source file" error. Tried new profile, uninstalling and looking for the compreg.dat file to delete nothing is working. Please help
Did you reinstall CS3 after CC?
For that matter, doing an in-place upgrade on the OS is always a gamble with Adobe programs. Reinstalling all the versions you need, in order, would probably solve your problem.
And you shouldn't need to save as IDML after opening the .inx in CC. -
I am encountering crashes with Photoshop Elements 12. If I uninstall and then reinstall the software, will I jeopardize the 100s of photo images I have already moved into the Organizer? Any cautions for me?
If the app is designed correctly, the no, you won't. However, you'd have to ask the people who wrote the software, Adobe.

I have just been having problems with my Canon MP250 printer and decided to uninstall and re-install the printer and everytime I try to re-install the printer trough preferences and all I keep getting was a message saying "preparing to queue"...... I then decided to try and reload the Canon printer drivers and for some silly reason I deleted the existing Canon printer drive. Now I cannot load them from the CD provided with the printer or from downloads through the Apple store. If anyone out there could help me I would be greatly appreciated......
These Canon printer/scanner drivers from Apple - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL899 - should work. The MP250 is listed on the support page. Try downloading and installing them.

When I try to reinstall any of my toolbars I am told it is not compatible with Firefox 5. I really hate to go back to IE but I may have to if I can't get this fixed.stumbleupon is compatible as the version you have may just be old.

Norton has actually tried to get a update patch out for Firefox 5.0 back on Tuesday (versus taking some six weeks) when Firefox 5.0 was released. However I think some say the toolbar may not work if patch was installed before Firefox 5.0 and not after.

I am a U.S. citizen who works over the internet at home for a man in the U.K. My boss in the U.K. ordered CS3 from the U.K. and shipped it to the U.S.
For almost a year, I was able to use the CS3 products until all the sudden, I get an error message that says, "You cannot use this product at this time. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the product or contact Adobe for technical support." Every time I try and talk to a customer service representative from Adobe, I am either put on hold for about 30 minutes, am asked to contact the offices in the U.K since the product was purchased in the U.K. or am told I can't get any support because I don't have an order number or a serial number or whatever these people are asking for. I do not have that kind of money to be making long distance phone calls to the U.K. only to receive no technical support at all. My job is very important and if my boss paid over $1,000 for the product then either he or I should get the support we need before I end up loosing my job over it. I was once promised a very new clean CS3 CD along with a new serial key for all the trouble I went through with technical support and never received it in the mail. I can give you my boss' contact info, but I refuse to quit until I get the support I am looking for. My boss' number is

Localhost not working with firefox 7. How do I get it to work with wampserver
used to be able to access localhost via wampserver but firefox 7 just shows a blank page??? I looked at control panel->internet properties but local host is set as exception. Running XP Pro OS.
Chrome 14 works fine with localhost but not firefox 7. I have tried the suggestions I found about:config change a few settings but nothing worked (fixup filter, browser filter). Firefox is showing correct url - not adding a www prefix - but still getting blank page???drum160 wrote:

Your statements don't seem to go together. To the best of my knowledge `lpadmin` will not run as a command unless cupsd is running. You can either use `lpadmin` or stop cupsd and then manually edit the Printers.conf file. I would recommend using `lpadmin`.
I am not sure what you put in for "command". I presume you specified the page limit. Did you also specify the job quota period?
I had no problem settin a page quoto as a test. I set a page quoto of two pages each hour. My command was:
lpadmin -p EPSON_Workforce_1100 -o job-quota-period=3600 -o job-page-limit=2
I then restarted cupsd to make in case the lpadmin command did not cause it to restart:
sudo launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.cups.cupsd.plist
sudo launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.cups.cupsd.plist
I was able to print two pages. The third page gave me an error while printing message.

I wanted to watch CNN live Tv on my computer and I was asked to download "The Radio TV 1.3 Community Toolbar". When I did that, a "Conduit Engine" was attached to the toolbar. I couldn't click the "finish" button because everything seized up. I could do nothing. I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed it...the Community Toolbar and Conduit engine screen popped up just by clicking anywhere on the Firefox homepage...and of course it seized up again. I tried to get help from Bell (my ISP) but they were unable to solve. Any ideas???

Tried to download latest i tunes version. After install, I can't bring the program up. Keeps telling me MSVCR80.dll missing. Un installed and then re installed but same message.
Got it done. Uninstalled all apple programs. Did a complete defrag. Downloaded itunes and went to completion.
Go to HTTP://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 for procedureGo to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour

Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I cannot open emails in my university's Outlook Web App. I cannot re-open Firefox after I exit because it doesn't really close down (parts still in Task Manager which I have to end before firefox reopens.). When I installed Firefox4 although it was quicker then firefox 3. I didn't like the button layout. I couldn't increase the Search Bar width.
I know you don't make the delicious plugin. But seriously I use it every hour of everyday. So I had to go back to 3.6.1.6
And hopefully 4.1 will improve things somewhat.
Also what is with the square stuff everywhere. I really like the style of firefox 3.
Very Unimpressed…Everything time I quit firefox4 it didn't save my tabs either. I though it was a setting but I couldn't find that either.
Also I really like my RSS feed in the Address Bar. I apposed that decision when you guys made it and I STILL DON'T LIKE IT. -
