iTunes gift cards are only valid on accounts based in the country in which the card was issued - so if you have a US account then you can only use US gift cards. Do you know anybody in the country where you bought it from that you could sell or give it to ? Or you could try selling it on a site such as eBay.

    The article below will walk you through the troubleshooting steps for email on your iPad:
    iOS: Unable to send or receive email
    If you are unable to send or receive email, try the following steps:
    Restart the iOS device.
    Tap Safari and attempt to load a webpage to ensure that the device has Internet access. If you're unable to load a webpage, try the Wi-Fi assistant.
    Try an alternative Internet connection.
    If your email is provided by your Internet provider, try connecting from the home network.
    If your iOS device has an active cellular data plan, try to disable Wi-Fi:  Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn off Wi-Fi.
    If not, try a different Wi-Fi network.
    Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
    Delete the account from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then add the email account again on the iOS device.

    To to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud ID. A new password will be sent to the associated email address.
    It this doesn't work, go to https://getsupport.apple.com ; click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.

    I've been trying to make Icloud backup for my date in order to change my Iphone 4 to a new one Iphone 5
    However now i gave before my apple id nd password to someone , so i need to change them so i can do the backup...
    I do all steps right and it tells me that an email will be sent to me .. to change security questions since i don't remember them,
    however i am not receiving this reset email...

    If you know your present password you don't need to use the security questions: just go to http://appleid.apple.com , click on 'Manage your Apple ID', click on 'Password and Security' and you can change the password. Of course if you've already managed to reset it then that won't work since you now don't know the password.
    If you are unable to change it by this method and haven't received a reset password you will need to contact Support. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'All Products and Services' in the first column, 'More Products and Services' in the second column, then 'Apple ID' in the third column. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' in the first column then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password' and click 'Continue'. You will be offered options to contact Apple.

    The adware comes in on my sub account (almost hourly), it is always on top of my Inbox. It's funny I can send and receive from my sub account, just not my main account.
    I am able to get Safari. I see one previous suggestion to delete account, but I'm afraid I would then lose my email address. I tried on another wi fi and still had the same problems. I also saw it may be a password problem, but if that is so how do I get Safari? I also rebooted. Any suggestions?

    If you delete your mail account from your iPad you won't lose your address. I've deleted and re-added my mail account several times.
    It'd be the same as.....I have a favorites list for a website. I can delete that favorites list, but the website is still out there. I just need to retype the address. Same thing with the mail.
    The worst that'll happen is that you'll have to redownload your mail onto your iPad.
    Who is your mail provider? Are you accessing it via their app (for example the yahoo app) or are you accessing it via safari or via the iPad's mail app?

    and i use my icloud account (@me) for Mail.
    When i receive mails from especially Apple (for example, some one comments on this question) then i only receive a mail on my hotmail account,
    which is bad because i dont check it often, since ive almost totally moved to icloud.
    My question is: What do i do, to (also) receive these kind of mails on my icloud(Mail) ?

    I'm on a late 2011 MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8.5.  (yes, I will be upgrading to Yosemite soon - just need to back up my stuff)
    My email was working fine, then all of a sudden it just stopped receiving emails.  I'm trying to connect to Yahoo and I've configured the various settings to the suggested ones per a link from Apple https://www.apple.com/support/mail-settings-lookup/ (settings listed below)
    What's strange is that i can SEND emails, I just can't receive them.  I've plugged the settings again and again and nothing seems to work.  Please help.   Below are some screenshots.  Thanks!

    Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
    Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup),  it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
    Move this Folder to the Desktop...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
    Move this file to the Desktop...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
    Reboot.
    If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup
    Note, in 10.5 & up /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/ may or may not exist.

    I purchased this phone in December of 2010. It has worked perfecty since then. I recently deleted a GMail account that I was not using a couple of weeks ago. Since this morning my phone has not received any emails. I  have just deleted both of my email accounts and will attempt to set them up as new accounts to see if this will rectify the problem. Any suggestions are welcomed.

    IPad2 is not receiving emails sent to my robcat734@**** account. The software, iOS 8.1.3 is up to date. The last email I received was Friday, February 27. Email account states, updated Friday. Tried deleting the account and reopening it, also rebooted the iPad several times with no results. 11.5GB is used with 1.5GB is available.
