If you are using the old Firefox Start Page - http://www.google.com/firefox - Google has something messed up on that page. I'm starting to wonder if they are charging Mozilla for the click-thru's to the Firefox download page??
The new default Firefox Start Page / homepage - '''about:home''' - doesn't give users that incorrect message.

    I requested to receive a refund for Helvetica on 1/28/15 after I uninstalled, deactivated, and deleted the font from my computer. It has been almost a month and the order status still states "Return Requested" and in the Open Cases tab it states "Open- Pending Adobe Response." I would not think it takes this long to process a refund. Is there any way to fix this problem? Thank you.

    If you can't remember and you can't get an email (are you sure where this email is going and do you have access to the account) and don't remember your secret question answers you need help.
    Go to https://expresslane.apple.com/ select More Services and Products>iCloud and follow the prompts.

    i would like to change my iCloud email address e.g.   change from: [email protected], to: [email protected]
    I do not receive verification email for changing my iCloud email address, even though it says verification email sent.
    I also tried the "forgot apple ID" option to change it that way, i received an email but it was for resetting my password.
    is there anyway i can change it?

  • I want to prevent MyDay from starting up when I switch on.  I have followed all instructions for doing this, but to no effect.  I have unlocked and relocked.

    I use an Macbook from 2006 with OS X 10.7.5
    MyDay starts up every time I switch on.  I don't use it, so want to remove it from the list of programs which start automatically.  I have followed all instructions for doing this, and have of course unlocked and relocked the relevant page in Systems Preferences, but the instruction never 'sticks', and MyDay still starts every time.  Anyone know what to do?

    Check StartupItems...
    Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
    Type or copy paste the following:
    /Library/StartupItems
    Click Go. If you see any reference to MyDay, delete it. That does not delete the app Just keeps it from launching when you startup your Mac.
    Just to be sure, you checked System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items   ??
    Unlocking or locking the padlock icon only prevents other users from changing your preferences.

    I imagine that would be frustrating, to not be a able to redeem an iTunes Digital Copy with the Digital Copy code and disc. Did the movie come with more than one disc or has the code been used already?   • HT5538 iMessage Q -- won't activate - even after following all instructions via Apple site

    Trying to get iMessage to work on husband's iPhone 5.
    Followed these instructions. http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4268 All attempts failed.
    Image on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5538 shows that the phone number needs to be checked also.  Mine is grayed out so I cannot check it.
    I have already activated (months ago) my phone number and email with Apple, but only reason I am questioning how to activate iMessage is because someone tried to send me a message and I never received it.  They had to call to find out why I didn't respond.
    I've followed all instructions on the links I've listed above, but still does not activate.

    About this iPhone: V 6.1.4 (10B350); carrier AT&T 14.0.
    iMessage under settings > waiting for activation; send and receive: email correct and verified; phone number does not have a check after it like the image shows at the above link.
    On my iphone 4, the phone number is checked along with the email address.
    So I'm thinking there must be an issue with the phone number in order to get iPhone iMessage to work.
    Not finding anything about that on the Apple site or Googling either.

    Found answer.  One does NOT have to do all the suggestions I've found everywhere on Apple forum: reinstall, reboot, reactivate, delete Apple acocunt, reinstall Apple account, reinstall email, reinstall phone number, restore, clean installs, reinstall previous backup, reset to factory settings, on and on and on with a nightmare of information to try.
    All it took was TOGGLING the auto date/time settings on iPhone.
    The phone number then was checked automatically.

  • Not receiving imap email after ios6 upgrade

    I have an iPhone 4S which I upgraded to iOS6 2 days ago.  Prior to the upgrade, I had 2 imap email accounts and one pop account set up on my phone that were all working fine.  Immediately after the upgrade one of the imap accounts stopped receiving emails (I have tested sending from that account, and it works fine.)  When I attempt to retrieve new emails, after the phone tries to download messages, I get the following error message:
    Cannot Get Mail.  The mail server "mail.[my mail server].com" is not responding.  Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings.
    I have checked my settings and they appear to be unchanged (a parallel line of inquiry is to see if my server is actually having problems.) I even changed one, to see if that would make any difference either with the new setting, which I doubted, or once I returned it to the original setting.  I have also turned the phone off completely and turned it back on. 
    Any suggestions?

    I'm trying to place an order and needing to change my address, but in order to do this I have to enter in a verification code that should be emailed to me.  I have tried to do this the last few days, however, I'm not receiving the verification emails.  This has been attempted from several computers and my mobile device.  Each has had the browser temp files, cache cleared, and reset, but nothing is working to generate these emails.  What else can be done?

    Not being able to access your account would certainly make placing an order difficult, so I can imagine how anxious you must feel to find a resolution.
    I've had the chance to look into this situation, but wasn't able to identify any reasons why you wouldn't receive account-related messages. I've reset your BestBuy.com account's password to see if this resolves the issue, so please make sure to keep an eye on both your inbox and junk mail folders for additional communication. Gmail users should also monitor their Promotions tab/folder if they have this option enabled -- messages from retailers may sometimes end up in this area, effectively bypassing the primary inbox.
