When I try to download and install itunes

When I try to download and install intunes it gets to after it installs quicktime and then says it cant go any further because the itunes.cab file is corrupt, what do I do I need my itunes.

If you haven't already, try downloading the iTunes installer again from Apple and give that new copy a try. You may just have a corrupted or incomplete download.

I receive an Exit Code 34 when I try to install

I have too!! Having spent 6 unfruitful hours over the telephone today with 3 Adobe technicians I am now awaiting a call back scheduled for tomorrow with a "more experienced technician"! I have Windows 7. Error message "FATAL EXIT CODE 34"

I have branched this out to a new discussion. Caereinion what Adobe application are you trying to install? Which operating system are you using? When do you receive this Exit Code 34? Can you provide a screenshot?

Instead of downloading one by one simply download the 10.6.7 'combo' update from Apples support site, it contains all previous updates in one package.

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

The file is too large to download via 3G. There is a 20MB limit with 3G. The purpose of having 3G is that you have internet access everywhere and do not need to be near a WiFi hotspot or network.
Not every single thing that you do every single minute of the day on the iPad involves downloading files larger than 20MB. You can surf the internet all day long sitting out in a park somewhere with 3G - but not with a WiFi only iPad - unless you use a hotspot with it.
Try turning off your firewall and anti virus software while you try to download the iOS update.
