  • So, I can't open iTunes - get a WerFault.exe - Application Error

OK.  Two days ago, iTunes worked just fine.  No updates between then and now.  Nothing new installed on my computer.  I tried to open iTunes today to listen to my music, and get this:
It pops up at least 3 times, and one time somewhere areound 15 or 20 times, and iTunes doesn't open!  I am a certified computer tech, so went through all the troubleshooting I know - even redownloaded iTunes, ran it, and choose to "Repair" iTunes.  I even removed iTunes and completely re-installed it, and it STILL does it!  What the **** is going on?

...the screenshot didn't stay there... the error window has the following:
    WerFault.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x703120e0 referenced memory at 0x8ead6a78.  The memory could not be written.
Click on OK to terminate the program.

  • Concurrent Manager gives FNDLIBR.exe - Application Error in Windows 2003.

    Hi,
I upgraded our Oracle EBS 11.0.3 on HP-UX to EBS 11.5.10 on Windows 2003 (Oracle Financials and Order Management)
We have one issue which I am not able to resolve for a long time.
    1) 2-3 times a day Send Notifications for Purchasing Documents concurrent program Complets with Errors and this is causing FNDLIBR.exe error.
    2) This causes a pop-up window to appear in the Servers Console with FNDLIBR.exe - Application Error and they have to click OK to get rid of this pop-up window.
3)Send Notifications for Purchasing Documents concurrent requests usually completes in less than a minute but one or two these requests run for 2-3 hours and these are the ones that are causing FNDLIBR.exe issue.
    4) Patch 5567785 was applied but still we are getting the same FNDLIBR.exe issue.
    5) If we don't click OK in the FNDLIBR.exe popup windows on the server's console and if it accumulates for 2-3 days, then all the concurrent requests go to Pending and starts Running only after click OK to clear all the FNDLIBR.exe pop-ups.
    5) The event viewer shows:
Faulting application FNDLIBR.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.4455, fault address 0x0002a413.

    6) Send Notifications for Purchasing Documents concurrent requests runs POXWARMG.sql
    7) This documented in Bug 5841575 - SEND NOTIFICATIONS FOR PURCHASING DOCUMENTS FAILING INTERMITANTLY
Please suggest a way to workaround this issue.Upgrading to 11.5.10.2 is ruled out by the users. I opened SR but not very useful.

    Hussein,
All Conc Rgsts are working fine. Only this one is failing 2-3 times a day. This is scheduled to run every 10 mins.
Is it really required to relink and give a try?

  • Error code 16- I re-installed Design Premium CS5.5 with no luck

    Hello,
I can no longer open any of my Adobe applications. I am getting an error 16 message that reads "configuration error." I have uninstalled and re-installed the full Adobe Design Premium CS5.5 with no luck. When I re-instlled it I also got an error 213:5 message about resetting the SLStore and the Adobe folder.
    Nothing works.

Unfortunately that didn't work. After pasting the command in the window I
    got this:
sudo: /private/etc/sudoers is mode 0644, should be 0440
sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting
    MAC17-2:~ MAC1$
    Any suggestions??

This issue has been covered extensi'vely in this forum and I?m currently waiting to Creative Labs technical to give me ?some instructions on this issue but in the meantime I found this article about this issue which said this:
    <i></i>?
<i>?Remote Control System DLL Module Loader. Task installed by the drivers for Creative Audigy Pro 4 and X</i><i>?</i><i>Fi range of sound cards. This startup task enables support for the Remote Con</i><i>trol which comes with those sound cards.</i>

<i>Those of you who have followed our Task List pages since 2000, or those of you who have bought? The Ultimate Troubleshooter, will recall how once we came across a great quote on the web about the Creative Development Team ? here goes :Rumours that Creative?s driver team is composed entirely .... have not been confirmed !?.</i>
    <i></i>?
<i>Well, the rumours refuse to die away. Creative Labs unparalleledcreativity? and ability to produce either useless (in our opinion) or downright destabilizing background tasks down the years, continues unabated. DLLML.EXE is the latest incarnation. We?re in 2006, eight years on from Windows 98 and, still, we continue to get these occasional nightmares from Creative !
This task?s achievements :? 90% to 00% CPU utilization on some PCs, freezes, extreme slow-downs, incompatibilities with other devices, high memory usage, sound problems on X-Fi cards (!!!), shutdown or boot</i><i>?</i><i>up errors, inability to shut down, and th</i><i>e list simply goes on. <i>If you are lucky enough not to experience any of the above problems (some versions of the drivers are actually problem free ? also, the problems do not occur on all PCs), then do nothing.</i>
    <i></i>?
<i>If, on the other hand, you are one of the unlucky ones, then disable this task as follows :</i>
    <i></i>?

<i>c)? Reboot your PC and check if the task stops coming up. If it does, then all is fine, otherwise make the disabling process more comprehensi've by first right</i><i>?</i><i>clicking on this task on the Tasks? tab of TUT and terminating it.</i>
    <i></i>?
<i>d)? Next, switch to the Startups? tab, right</i><i>?</i><i>click on this task and choose? Rename the file that this Startup points to. All you will be missing is the ability to use the Remote Control. </i>
    <i></i>?
I honestly remove some of the comments about Creative Labs technical team due to fears that I would get banned from this forum before I even posted one thread ? laughed out loud.
If anybody from Creative Labs or any other knowledgeable persons are reading this particular post can you confirm whether these steps mentioned above a), b) or c) are the right things to do in the case of this issue?
    Thanking you in advance Optical0

IIRC the problem was there were two of the same files and it was trying to read both causing an error.
Renaming worked in solving the problem. Forgive but it's been awhile since I fixed it. From what I remember renaming fixed the problem though.

    Hi SUBRAMANIAN,
Are you still facing this issue? It seems to be conflict to me.
Are you using any third party plugins with Acrobat? Try disabling and to use it again.

  • Firefox.exe +application error +the application failed to initialize properly (0x0150004) +click on OK to terminate the application.

    Win XP Home SP2
Installed Firefox, but receive the following error message:
firefox.exe +application error +the application failed to initialize properly (0x0150004) +click on OK to terminate the application.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but same message. Firefox won't even open.

Usually someone has been down the track before and occasionally they post some useful details which may help others to investigate and/or eliminate factors in their particular case.
This AccessibleMarshal.dll error seems to have a long history --- posts from 2006 with early Firefox versions had issues similar to yours.
There is a link and an excerpt below which could be worth checking in your case,
particularly since it mentions the problem would occur on a clean install (no previous instance of Firefox on the system and Windows before Vista --??)
    Have a look here:
    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=712960
    and the post to read:
    '''Mark Banner (:standard8) 2011-12-22 12:55:21 PST'''
"Created attachment 583905 [details] [diff] [review]
Add the Win32 redistributable directory to the mozconfigs"
"Somehow we missed shipping the Win32 Redistributables from Visual C++. We didn't detect this as it would only show on Windows versions less than Vista, and you'd probably only see it if you had a completely clean install, and you didn't have the dlls installed elsewhere (as it appears my XP system does)."
"If you're seeing this then you want to copy the following files from a Firefox installation:
    Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest
    msvcm80.dll
    msvcp80.dll
    msvcr80.dll
The patch I'm attaching updates our configuration files to specify the Win32 redistribution directory, which will then cause the build system to include the files in the build."
    .... ends....
The earlier 2006 instances also had the same issue in some cases:

Hope this progresses the search and resolution.

  • Jinitiator - SysFader: iexplore.exe – Application Error

I have installed 10g Express edition. I am taking a class and have a book, which came with Oracle Developer Suite 10g. I have installed the software. I am trying to follow the book and when I try to open a form, location.fmb file I receive an error message.
    SysFader: iexplore.exe – Application Error
The instructions at “0x0504e348” referenced memory at ‘0x000000c”. The memory could not be “read’.
I am not sure the Jinitiator is the cause of the error but that was the last piece of software that was installed. I have look all over the Web and maybe I am not looking or searching correctly but the only thing I can find that seems reasonable was about the Jinitiator. I have downloaded what seems to be a later version, 1.3.1.29. The version that installed during the opening of the form was 1.3.1.22. For some reason I am unable to get the program to use the new Jinitiator which I installed. I did uninstall the older version, I did start OC4J, I did login. The program still wants to install the older version. Not sure where to go from here. Any advise would be appreciated.

Sorry, I forgot to give more info: The book I am using is Guide to Oracle 10g by Course Technology. I started OC4J. Once OC4J initialized I started Forms Builder. Once Form Builder loads, I select Open then select the file Location.fmb. Now I try to run the form by selecting Run per the instructions in the book. It asks me to login, which I do, then I select connect. Now iexplorer loads automatically and give me the error message:
    SysFader: iexplore.exe – Application Error
The instruction at “0x04f9e348” referenced memory at “0x0000000c”. The memory could not be “read’.
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
I have no idea how to debug the program and I am not sure this is what I should do anyways.
I have two entries in Outlooks Manage Add-ons: JInitiator 1.3.1.22 and 1.3.1.28. I removed version 1.3.1.22 hoping that it would use 1.3.1.28 but when I try to open the file, it tells me that I have to install JInitiator. I say yes, and it installs version 1.3.1.22 again. I get the same error message. I do not understand why it will not use the new version 1.3.1.28. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Labview.exe - Application Error

While running VI in Labview 7.1, I receive the following error:
    Labview.exe - Application error
The instruction at "0x05791a4b" referenced memory at "0x00000034".  The memory could not be "written".
Has anyone seen this error?  Does anyone have an idea of the cause?
For reference, this is a new computer, XP Pro, 4G ram.  I did not get the error on the previous computer running the same code, but the old computer had other issues that required it be replaced.

This looks like an error popup from windows.  Those hex values are going to be different depending on where the problem is in memory, and that could be different every time.  It might have created a Dr Watson's error report, but that usually isn't enough to determine the cause.
I agree with John's direction -- is it reproducible?  Is it only one VI?
Do you ever get another type of error message from LabVIEW?  If fatal, it will appear when the error occurs.  If a warning, it will appear at LabVIEW's next start-up.  Please refer to:

  • Clscfg.exe - Application error during 10g install on W2K3

I get 2 installation errors when installing 10g (software only install) on Windows 2003. Both appear to be directly related to the fact that clscfg.exe does not execute. I receive the pop up titled "clscfg.exe - Application Error" containing the text:
the instruction at "0x77bd4ece" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory
could not be "read'. Click on "OK' to terminate the program.
Has anyone encountered this? Know a workaround?

I have exactly the same problem under Windows XP. There seems to be a bug that looks very simular to the error we have, and there is a patch for it (bug 3555863), but the patch does not work, because you need to execute clscfg again during the patch execution, but clscfg craches whenever I try to execute it.
So, I do not know a workaround yet. Did you find out anything in the meantime?
