I am receiving an error message stating "Creative Cloud Server error."

I have tried numerous solutions that I found on these forums and have wasted plenty of time with Adobe's cust. service...which is pretty lacking when it comes down to these kinds of issues.
I do not understand why file sync was functioning perfectly when I used it the first couple of times, and now it NEVER works. What did I sign up for?! Please help

  • Creative Cloud Server Error

    Creative cloud says my sync is turned off. I resume syncing and comes up with a Server error. I select more detail and I show all green arrows.
    First of all why does it says it's tuned off because I never turn it off in just about a year now and second why does keep erroring out.
    I called yesterday and was put on hold and waitied 15 min before hanging up because no one answered the phone.

    Thank you for responding. Its up and running now, so I can't get a screen
    shot. All it said at the top when it tried to sync was, "Creative Cloud
    server error". When I click "get more info" everything was checked green.
    This has happened before but it usually shows me where the error is and
    then I can correct it with a different file name ,etc... Yesterday it
    didn't, It was the entire server that couldn't connect. I would say it was
    down for about 9-10 hours on my end. FYI. Disconnecting modem, rebooting,
    checking files names was done in the process of figuring it out.
    One thing I will note. When the Creative Cloud came up later this morning,
    All of my adobe applications, when launched, asked that I register the
    product.
    I am currently working from my harder drive, I'm not totally convinced
    it'll stay synced. I'm a owner of a graphic art company and I lost a couple
    of hours of work yesterday, so everything that the Creative Cloud usually
    saves, didn't.

  • The dreaded 'Creative Cloud server error'

    I'm getting the dreaded 'Creative Cloud server error' when trying to sync from my Mavericks MBP. I have reinstalled Creative Cloud's app, I deleted 'opm.db', made sure my file and folder names fit their guidelines, yet the error continues.  It has worked fine since I began using it a long time ago and I've not made any changes to my laptop except adding a couple of new files to the Creative Cloud folder.  I hope this is a temporary issue.  I don't like dragging and dropping into the Creative Cloud via browser window because of the 'no folder' issue.

    What's going on with Adobe?
    No reply on forum, no fix over the phone, useless chat...
    That's how long I was with Adobe yesterday on the phone, and they still didn't help me to fix the problem.
    Oh, not to mention they answered the phone after 1 hour and 26 seconds!!!
    Very frustrating!!!

    My creative cloud files have all been deleted on my machine, all put in the trash (not by me!) I've recovered some but I want to download everything from the creative cloud server before I sync again.  is there anyway to do this? or do I have to download every single file individually, which would take hours......
    I can see all my files on the cloud server but can't figure out why it has dumped all my local files in the trash.

    Just to add that, I had exactly the same issue this morning, so it is certainly a more widespread problem rather than an isolated case.
    For Adobe's benefit, here's a summary of what happened for me:
    All cloud files automatically moved to trash on turning my computer on and auto syncing. All folders remained, but empty.
    Files still existed online through the browser, in the Files section and had not been put into Archive.
    When I got home to my personal Mac, the exact same situation happened as above. Though I made sure to do a backup before connecting to wifi and allowing it to sync!
    Tried signing out and deleting the Creative Cloud files folder, then signing in again, hoping it would re-sync and create all my files again to match what was online, but it just created the directory of empty folders again.
    Was on a call with support for an hour which was painful, with them taking control of my screen but having no idea what to do to fix it.
    As with you guys, I'd like to download all my files again (not including Archive), but as a batch and not one by one online! Hopefully the sync will fix and download the lot again automatically.
    Have you worked out what's wrong yet Adobe?

    This morning when I tried to open my CC2014 Photoshop, it started to open, then quit suddenly. Same with Dreamweaver and InDesign. I am a professional and do not have the time to screw around with this. When I tried to run CC app, I get an error that says "Adobe creative cloud is needed to resolve this problem.
