I am receiving incoming emails but all of a sudden, I cannot send any outward emails
I am receiving emails but all of a sudden, I cannot send outgoing emails. Any ideas why?
Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Log out and log back in. Launch Mail and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

You can go back into the mail account settings and scroll to the outgoing mail server and see if you can enter a password, same one as your incoming mail server. -

Tools-> Clear Recent History -> [v] Cache
or Firefox->Preferences->Advanced->Network -> Offline storage -> [Clear Now]
Try clearing the Youtube cookie in Firefox->Preferences->Privacy
refresh page.

Reboot your iPad:
To reboot your iPad, hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If, during this process, a slider appears on the screen to power it off, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.
Rebooting your iPad can solve a lot of problems. If this doesn't fix it, report back. -
HOW COME I CANNOT /SEND RECEIVE MESSAGES, BUT I CAN RECEIVE EMAIL?
Sending and receiving messages has absolutely no relation at all to sending and receiving email.
Your iPad is not a cellular telephone. It cannot send or receive SMS text messages. It can only send or receive iMessages, which are messages to/from other Apple devices (only) on a WiFi or a cellular network that supports iMessage. -

Since Monday, 8/8, I cannot open any of the incoming emails. I can click on it, but nothing is there to read. When I use the Explorer, I can read them and send replies.
Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

woke up this morning could not connect to my email. Message just says unable to connect to server, hopefully someone can help me resolve this issue.
Cannot connect to the incoming server, or were you trying to send mail? Who is your email provider? Have you checked email settings? Try a reset first, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, check again. Are you showing a signal for cellular data, or a wifi signal if you are on wifi?

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -
please help me, I just bought an ipad 3 yesterday and was able to download a few apps and configure my email but all of a sudden it no longer recognize any press i did on the screen. i already did the hard reset as advised by the technician in the App Store and advised me to send the unit in the Service Unit.

Are any of your other applications going wonky, or is it just Logic?
I'm afraid I've never heard of this particular problem before, but if it were happening to me the first thing I would do is delete my "com.apple.logic.express.plist" file in Library>Preferences, then repair permissions in Disc Utility, and finally restart my computer. Then I would launch Logic and see if the problem has been corrected. It's amazing how much these two steps can accomplish.
If that doesn't resolve the issue I would launch Logic and go to Preferences>Audio Units Manager to see if all my plug-ins are properly validated. -
Why do I all of a sudden have no send button on any email I compose?
When I write a new email, I all of a sudden have no send button on said email; the only way I can send is by clicking on file and then send now. Yes, I have an addressee. This is the case for all emails from all providers including google and our business email @mcselections.com.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?I do not know what you mean by the main menu bar of the compose window. I have a mac, so maybe the layout is different. i usually am in my inbox-there is no compose window, only a new email when i click on write. When i click on "view" on the thunderbird toolbar, and then click "toolbars", the only options i have are "mail toolbar", "status bar", "quick filter bar", all of which are checked.

I cannot send or forward email but I do receive mail OK. All of the same settings work on my wife's IPhone and our Ipad. All are running on IOS 5.0.1. I get a message of your email has been put in your outbox because the receipent "%@" does not allow relaying.
Try deleting the mail account and setting it back up again.
