I am running 6.1 and want to upgrade to 7.1 then to 10.1. I understand this is a two step process and can find where to upgrade from 7.1 to 10.1 but cannot find 6.1 to 7.1. Can anyone head me in the right direction?

Where can I find the pathway to upgrade my 6.1 iMac to the Lion 7.1 and then to the Montian Lion 10.1. I think I have to update to Lion before I can update to montian Lion but cannot find the upgrade to take me from 6.1 to 7.1

What are we talking about here? You've posted in a Windows forum, but seems you are referring to an iMac. But you are not referring to OS X version numbers. Maybe you should make clear what you want.

Standard or Pro would be licensed through your serial number, the download link and downloaded file would be the same for both of them.
Pro or Standard would be determined after you put in your serial number.

If you are using File Vault, turn it off. To find out where all the extra space is use any of these products - Disk Inventory X
OmniDiskSweeper
WhatSize
SpaceControl

Seriously. I have been charged over £200 for supposedly free apps. I need to report this and cannot anywhere find how I can do this. In UK. Please can anyone point me in the right direction.

There is no subscription section in my account.
I am paranoid after reading the above post but it seems there is no way to turn off initial purchases, only renewals can be turned off.
1) Do all apps explicitly ask if you want to purchase a subscription and give the price?
     Is that required and controlled by Apple?
2) Or is it possible an app will just charge and give you a subscription when
    a) the app is installed or b) when it is run the first time?
If # 2 is a posibility then:
We should be able to disable initial purchases so we don't wind up spending 100's by accident.
Then if they are disabled we would have to re-enable them to get a subscription
and after we could disable them again. If #2 can happen that would be the only way to
stop an accidental purchase from happining.
Why - because I know from other places on the internet it ir Real Easy to miss
   something in the fine print no matter how dilligent you are about reading the Terms.
Can someone answer the questions 1 & 2?
And if 2 is possible - can anyone offer any advice (besides read carefully - I know that)?

I have been to customer support and redirected to a Greek site then a Dutch site!!! Strange but true. I have also gone to the support link for my registered products clicked on the iPod nano I have and the support says it is out of support and I would need to pay xxxx to have a new warranty. Interesting to know about 10.8 and Flash. I'll hold off upgrading until they work together. Currently using 10.6.8 at home and same on the Universtity's computers.
Haven't verified on Windows but shall do later in the week if I can get access to a Windows machine.
Both the Flash player and the Projector come up not full screen, and if I leave it that way then things work OK as long as I don't make the video full screen (using the full screen button on the skin).
However if I make the swf or projector full-screen (by using CMD-F or the menu option) then when I click on the menu item to take me to the page with the video on it, instead of a page with a smallish video and back button I get a black screen with no obvious controls. If I then press Escape I get my normal screen back and I am in the page that should have the video but there is not video and the back button does not work. So something wierd is going on here.
If I make a file without any videos with a similar navigation structure everyting works ok except that when I go full screen I lose the finger cursor when I roll over my buttons (which is also wierd).

Firefox 4 download will not start after the download is complete. It just doesn't run (Windows Vista), and can't be found in the program list. Solutions?

I have tried to open it both as the original user and as administrator. Nothing happens after I indicate that it should open

I was able to work the problem out by logging in as administrator. When the download was finished and extracted, a choice was offered to save rather than run. So I saved it on the desktop, and then right clicked on the icon, and selected "run as administrator". It then ran and installed with no problem.
