I am running Firefox 17.01 and Ad Block stopped working; tried downloading again 3 times and it still doesn't work.
It was working perfecting for months and stopped working just tonight.
In order to uninstall a possibly unwanted extension, please do the following:
#From the Firefox window click the Firefox button at the top left and select ''Add-ons'', or, if the Firefox button is not shown, click the ''Tools'' menu and click ''Add-ons''.
#Once the Add-on Manager has opened in a new tab, click the ''Extensions'' button on the left side of the window.
#You should now see a list of your installed extensions on the right side together with buttons on the right side of each extension.
#To remove an extension from Firefox, simply click the ''Remove'' button. You should see a message that informs you about the successful removal of the add-on.
#Note that some add-ons require a Firefox restart to be removed completely. To perform a Firefox restart after the add-on removal, click the ''Restart now'' link in the message.

Please explain what you mean by '''all of firefox'''. You're either running in the Firefox SafeMode or you're not. There's no "all" or partial SafeMode.

I keep getting error message, "can't open application PACE because PowerPC applications are no longer supported." I've run Clean My Mac and I still get the error.
Use the Finder "Go" menu while holding down the option key to expose your User / Library folder.
Look in the Application Support folder for PACE items and delete them. -
I downloaded norton internet security and it says I need firefox 4 to opperate correctly. I went to your site and downloaded lateset version and Norton still doesn't work . How do I get version 4 so that my computer and I are protected?

Sorry to hear about this problem. What site are you trying to log in on? Is it a Mozilla site? Usually you don't need to register or sign in to a Mozilla site to use Firefox. Usually you can just go straight to where you want to go.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I am currently running 10.7.5 on my macbook. I tried downloading Mountain Lion application...but it says 'error'',,,is there another way to upgrade my OS?
First we need to know which one of the 9 different models of MacBook you have. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you’re running 10.7 Lion). When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
The Early 2006 model 1,1 Core Duo can only run a maximum of 10.6 Snow Leopard.
The models Late 2006 Core 2 Duos 2,1 through Early 2008 4,1 can only run a maximum of 10.7 Lion.
The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody through the Mid 2010 White Unibody model 7,1 can run 10.8 Mountain Lion. -
I read all of this, and did each step and mine still doesn't work. It still says "iTunesSetup.exe is not a valid Win32 application". What's next?
Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

I updated photoshop cc but I cannot see the updates when I launch photoshop? I have restarted the computer and that still doesn't help.
Installing the "Update" installs a totally new version. The old version of Photoshop CC is still installed. It is likely you are running the old version.

I cannot backup my iphone, it keeps telling me the backup is corrupt and not compatible. All forums have suggested I delete the last backup but that was months ago and I'm afraid if I do that and it still doesn't work, I won't have anything saved. Can anyone help?
