I am running Firefox 6 but cannot find "Organize Bookmarks" under the "Bookmarks" tab.

I am trying to export my bookmarks to Internet Explorer and the Help program says I should have "Organize Bookmarks" as a choice.

"Organize Bookmarks was renamed to Show All Bookmarks in Firefox 4+ versions."
Should be real simple to change it back or change it to something meaningful ;)
No way would I have realized this w/o reading this post. What happened to intuitively user friendly Firefox ?
I prefer it the old way.

I think the confusion here is you appear to be following along some resource for DWCC while using DWCS6.
There are many changes between DWCS6 and DWCC. Actually, there are quite a few changes between DWCS6 Disk version and DWCS6 Cloud version with even more between both of those and DWCC (and now DWCC 2014).
With the speed that Adobe applications are changing with the Creative Cloud delivery system, you really must make sure you are using the correct resource version for your program version.

After installing latest update cannot access "messenger options" under the options tab

You can hold the Shift key and click the left mouse button a link to open that link in a new window.
The setting in Tools > Options > Tabs is only for links that specify a target window and you can divert such a link to a new tab instead.

Rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) in the Firefox Profile Folder in case there is a problem with the file.<br />
You may have to rename cert8.db (cert8.db.old) as well.<br />
Firefox will create new files.
The file cert8.db stores user certificates and intermediate certificates send by websites, so if you have certificates that you want to keep then you may want to export them now and import them after having removed cert8.db.

You can usually find the imported IE Favorites in a folder ("From Internet Explorer") at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks).
If you can't find them in the "From Internet Explorer" folder then try this:
* Export the favorites in IE to an HTML file (bookmarks.html): File > Import and Export
* Import the HTML file in Firefox: Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML: From File
