I am skekptical abou buying a mac, please help.

I want to buy a macbook (version 2 when it comes
out), but i am worried i wont like it. Now, i know i
am gonna use bootcamp to use Halo PC, or someother
games i have for PC. With a PC, I know all the
keystrokes, i.e.- screen shot "Prt Sc" and copy
highlighted line is "crtl+c" and with a mac its a
combination of keys. I am also worried about Safari,
because i have seen pictures of it and it looks
really confusing. Is it just me having these
questions when switching to a mac, or does everyone
else have then as well?
Some basic keystrokes on a Mac aren't really too different from Windows ones. For example, to copy it is command-C and to print it is command-p most of the time. Safari is NOT confusing, it is most definitely simpler than IE and it has some nice features (RSS, SnapBack). If you really want to, you can use the version of Internet Explorer for Mac that (I think) comes on your machine. Safari is better and faster in my opinion. Lastly, you can use MS Office for Mac if you are used to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Entourage. I think that the Mac version is actually much nicer looking than the Windows one. Hope this helps.

Hmmmm... would appear that you need to be actually logged in to enable the additional menu features.
Have you tried deletting the plists for MAS?

What version of iPhoto are you using? 9.6 is the current version.
Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.iPhoto.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Make sure airport is turned on. There should be an icon in your menu bar that looks like an antenna or fan. Most of the bars should be black. Click on that and select "broadband" from the menu.

You got ripped off. You bought a hacked/jailbroken phone. That's what error 1015 means. Return it and get your money back if possible and buy a phone from a legitimate source.
Discussing jailbroken / hacked phones is forbidden by the terms of service. Jailbreaking / hacking voids any warranty and forfeits your right to support here or from Apple. You can not get help here.

Apple has a site for new users. Use it. Also, David Pogue is an excellent tech writer who has penned a series called the Missing Manual. I assume you've come to the Mac from the Windows world and he's written one especially for switchers. I've linked to the version for Mavericks (10.9) but if you have an earlier version of the Mac OS he's written a similar book for them as well.

Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

First Mac PLEASE HELP...Reformatting/Erasing HD

I am bought a used macbook from a friend and now I am trying to erase the HD and all the personal files from the previous user. I also want to update the software to the new snow lepord OS. The problem I am having is I do not have the software/disks that came with it, but can buy snow lepord no probelm. PLEASE HELP!!!

No, you must have at least 1 GB. That's the minimum -- more is better!
Most likely will be buying another 1GB of memory in the next couple months.
Until then, you can't run Snow Leopard.
You can (and should) get copies of the discs that came with that Mac. Call AppleCare and give them the serial number, they'll send a duplicate set for a nominal charge. Then do an +Erase and Install+ via the OSX disc -- that will erase everything, install a new version of OSX, and when your Mac restarts, it will look just like a new one, so you can set it up as you please.

MacBook Pro keeps crashing...I'm new to Mac please help?!?!

On several occassions everything I had saved on my MacBook stopped working. All the icons I had once placed on my dock disappeared and my settings were changed. Some of the programs I had previously downloaded were no longer available and I lost all the information that was on it. In addition, my Idisk was removed from my desktop, the songs on my Itunes lost, and I wasn't able to even download all of the songs from Itunes (my friend downloaded the same album on his Mac and all songs downloaded). Now I tried to download AOL and it says "no mountable file system" and it works perfectly on my friends MacBook.
I've had this computer for 3 months...so I have NO IDEA what this means or what to do?! Can someon please help me? I use my computer for school and now I'm scared of using it because I might lose all my work.
To top it off (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint decide to operate and show me my documents whenever they want. I lost a midterm and had to redo the paper )

Did you by any chance, ever change the Short Name, of the Home account folder?
If so, all of the info, may still be on the drive.

I got an new iphone5 ...Am not able to delete photos which are transferred from my Mac book pro to my iphone...

You need to do it through iTunes, by unsyncing them
Wtih your iPhone connected, open iTunes on your computer, and click on your iPhone's name.
This should bring up the Overview Page, then click on the Photos Tab.
From their uncheck the folders that have the images you want top remove from your phone. Then sync the phone. itunes will remove the pictures during the sync process.
