I am suddenly no longer able to pick up wifi...Please help!
Ever since I added a 4th gen ipod to my family, my 2nd gen ipod no longer picks up the wifi signal in my house. It wont pick up any wifi signal on my street where as the other ipod, as well as my cell and laptop pick up 5 or 6 networks! I had an appointment at the genius bar and he updated my firmware with a restore and thought once I was home it would work but it does not! He suggested resetting my network settings and I did, as well as simply turn my dlink router on and off, and nothing has worked! I also tried switching channels on my routers homepage and nothing! I have a very sad daughter who cant play any online apps and I would greatly appreciate any suggestions at all!

If not this:
iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

PCs suddenly no longer see Airport Express wireless network - please help!

I am new to this forum and I need help. Two days ago - without me making any changes to settings etc. my Airport Express wireless network at home was no longer visible to any of my devices except to the Powerbook (G4 OS 10.3.9) which controls it. From one second to the next two Vista laptops and my cell phone (Nokia, Symbian OS).
My Powerbook has no problem connecting through AE to the internet. The two laptops are both able to connect to other wireless networks so they don't seem to be the problem. I just don't understand what caused this sudden drop-off/invisibility.
I have already tried the following: resetting the base station, changing the channel on the base station (from automatic) removing the network security altogether (from WPA2). But none of the devices except the powerbook can now see or detect my network.
Please - if anyone knows what the cause of this problem could be or how to fix I would be very grateful!!you name it : com.apple.airport.adminutility.plist
delete it and do as advised.
This isn't harmful, because it is only a preference list, so it will be created brandnew as soon as you re-setup the Airport stuff.
Mac OS X ( especially Jaguar ) has a tendency to corrupt some plists out of the blue, it is more or less harmless and can be fixed with recreating them plus permissions-repair.
Hint : repair permissions more than one time, it ALWAYS finds something to fix in Jaguar.
You cannot destroy something with these actions, because it is Unix maintance so usual routines.
A tool like cocktail or Onyx ( google them, onyx is freeware ) can help you run such ( and more ) routines on a scheduled base.
Always remember that OS X is no longer "the Mac OS", it is Unix with a nice Desktop, the critical things run hidden in the background, so it has to be treated like any Unix/Linux sort of OS, even if from the outside everything looks nice and kosher..

Router suddenly no longer works with my iMAC. Please help, I'm desperate.
SSIA, pretty much. One day, after a few years of working fine, my Linksys BEFSR41 Vers. 3 router just stopped working with my iMac. I've dtermined through process of elimination that it is indeed the router since I can access the internet by plugging the cable modem directly into my Mac and thus can write this to you guys now. I tried just hooking up the Mac and the router directly and trying to access it through the http://192.168.1.1 address. Didn't work. So I thought the router just crapped out for some reason. Then I went out and bought a brand new Linksys BEFSR41 Vers. 3 router. Considering I had no problem with the first one for a few years it seemed reasonable. Now that one won't work either. Although I can access it via the 192.168.1.1 address. However once I do that, I no idea what to do. I tried to upgrade firmware and that was only supposed to "take a few minutes" but it said that for 3 hours so I stopped it. The thing is, with the first router I didn't need to do a thing. All I had to do was plug it in and it worked beautifully with my iMac and TiVo. Maybe something in my iMac wigged out and that why it won't work with these things anymore. I don't know. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to get my iMac and TiVo back online again via this router? I truly appreciate any help and the patience it must've taken you to get this far in reading long post.

ScottOh my God thank you so much. I spent the last week trying to figure this **** thing out and that's all it took. Sometimes the most simple explanation is all that's required but last looked at. Thank you for pointing out the obvious. I kinda wish Linksys would've pointed that out to me when I exchanged a total of 25 e-mails with them. Oh well. Thank you again. I am so grateful.

iCloud changes my calendar colors. I am no longer able to pick my own calendar colors. This is due to some bug on iCloud. FIX THIS PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY APPLE!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS. iCloud should not force us to pick calendar colors. We should be able to pick our own!!!!!

In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?! -

Adobe did not develop Flash for iOS devices and has ended all Flash development for all mobile devices.
You could try a different browser from the App store such as Skyfire or iSwifter. -

I have iPad 4th Generation with iOS 6.1.3 Since my iBooks was updated to version 3.1.1 I cannot open pdf file attachment in my email. When I tap of the attachment, the iBooks icon no longer show itself. Can someone please help?

Reset the device did not help me but it does triggers me to attempt to resend the PDF file attachment on email--and it works the 2nd time. My problem is now solved.
The Adobe Reader is very helpful--it allows me to scroll through the document easily, unlike iBooks, where I cannot scroll straight up or down. -

We have recently upgraded our instance from 11.5.9 to 12.0.4 in Windows 2003 server.
We are unable to login to forms after upgrade, however we are able access self service responsibilities without any issues.
We are getting APP-FND-01496 when we access any forms responsibility. We have tried all possible metalink notes with no luck.

you can change the page orientation by selecting the menu item "File > Print..." then adjust the orientation in "Page Orientation" section, then click "Done" (or "Print", if you want to print).
