I am suddenly not receiving my voicemails in a timely manner.

My voicemails stopped then 1 day i had 18 of them all past. now i am not getting them again. i am frequently in areas of high reception so that should not be an issue and the fact that i had no problem until about 3 weeks ago has me confused.

I know that this would concern me just the same and we definitely want to make sure you're receiving your messages when they arrive. You stated that this has been going on for about 3 weeks, have there been any recent changes since that time? Any new applications, software updates, or any physical or water damage to the device? What's your primary zip code? Having troubles with any other services such as calling, messaging, or data connectivity?

No, I don't work for Apple. I've been in IT for over 20 years including telecom and consulting.
I'm on AT&T. The problem is not universal or even necessarily widespread on AT&T. If you're having issues, it is not a system wide problem. There can be interchange problems between networks from time to time and there can be problems within the AT&T network. If you have a phone, iPhone or otherwise that works today, there is no reason it shouldn't work next week if you don't make changes to it. The only reasons it wouldn't would be a hardware or software failure on the handset or problems on the carrier side. If there is 1 person with a problem. It's the handset. If there are 10... depends on the sample size. If there are 100, then you can bet your boots it's the carrier.
I've worked with AT&T a LOT during my career. Believe me, if you don't know the tricks, the person you get on the phone when you call about a problem like this has absolutely no idea what is wrong or if there is even a problem to begin with. Their sole purpose in life is to give you the warm fuzzies and make you go away.

Suddenly not receiving emails

I've had my Blackberry Curve 8330 for about 6 weeks. Suddenly, today, I am not receiving my emails. I have checked everything I can think of - even got my husband's curve and looked at options on each and they are set up the same, yet he is still receiving emails. Our email provider is the same. AIM mail suddenly not received by mac mail

Hi-
I have been using my new AIM account on my Mac Mail for about 6 months now with few problems.
The other day Mail decided to not send out any of my AIM mail although it was able to receive them. This lasted for a day and a half and then corrected itself.
Last night Mail is not receiving any of the AIM mail, although it is able to send it out (although VERY slowly). It is still trying to receive mail but cannot as of this morning.
I have checked the Mail settings and they seem fine. Mail is still able to be sent and received without a problem on the AIM mail site.
How can I see if the problem is with Mail, AIM, or even just me?

I discovered the problem. I had tried to send some photos that made a very large file. Mail tried and tried to send it but I finally stopped it. In the meantime it had copied the 44.1 M email 260 times! I deleted and emptied the trash and now all is well!

Why is my Droid Mini suddenly not receiving all texts sent to me?

It doesn't matter if the sender is iPhone, Blackberry, etc. or Verizon, AT&T, etc. It started with picture messages. I had to send a text to whoever was sending me a picture before the picture "pushed through". Now I am sporadically not receiving regular texts. I am missing important messages - this is unacceptable!
I have service during the missed messages. I routinely get a "Messaging has stopped working." warning. Sometimes I'm on WiFi, sometimes I'm not.
Any ideas?

We don't want you to miss any messages AMKrieger, I know how important it is to receive and send them. Please make sure your wi-fi connection is turned off, then reset the messaging application (make sure it's the stock application), http://vz.to/1hSEebv . Test your messages again and keep us posted.

IPhone 3G suddenly not receiving or making calls.

I have full bars, I reset my settings, turned on/off - nothing. Voicemails are appearing, but no calls are being received. If I try to call myself from another line, I just get silence. If I try to call out, the screen says "Calling XXX" but it's silent. Not even static, just dead. Everything was fine early this morning and suddenly at about 10:00 it went dead. Help?

Remove the SIM and put it back and then try..

My iphone4s suddenly not receive or call from my house.

I have iphone 4s and 5. Suddenly I cannot make or receive calls with iphone 4s from inside of my house. ( iphone 5 is working very well and no problem.)
I tried resetting network, turn on and off, update software to IOS 7.1.2, *228, and restore.. nothing is working.
Funny thing is if I go outside of my house, my phone is working..
Does any body has same issue?

I am all of a sudden not receiving photos in text form, anyone know why

People are trying to send me pictures through iMessage and they are not going through on my end. It is not just happening from one person. Both people trying to send are using iPhones but one is verizon and one is AT&T. Not sure if one of my settings needs adjustment or what??

Make sure you're connected to the internet of course if you both are using imessage. If you're attepting to send images via text, it requires your data to be on.

Mac E-Mail Not Receiving Incoming Mail From ATT/Yahoo Mail Server

Recently "upgraded" to ATT U-verse. My Mac email client (3.6) suddenly not receiving incoming mail from the web-based ATT/Yahoo. Settings-all are correct: Telephone talk with Tier 1 and Tier 2 ATT reps confirmed "unusual" problem, and that the settings (ports, ssl, etc.) are indeed all correct. Tier 2 supervisor referred ticket (F23576784) to the brilliant minds at Yahoo for help. I've heard nothing for five days. Some emails do get received on my client, from (Apple, ATT, for example). Others languish on the web-based mail, with no push to my iMac. Tests of sending myself e-mails continue to confirm problem, with test emails sitting at Yahoo server, no push to my Mac client.
I am able to send e-mails successfully from client. Interestingly, a couple of incoming e-mails from friends did manage to slip through the lines and arrive in my Mac client a couple of days late. Brave little souls, they're not talking.
I've tried all sockets, all other settings possible, but no luck. Why is there no straight-forward answer to this proliferating problem? Odd e-mail behaviors? No documented or shared answers by the big outfits to Mac users? Mac mail virtually disabled and useless? Has anyone found a path to resolving the varied but similar problems in this area yet? Thanks in advance for any help offered beyond adjusting preferences over and over and over. That ain't working.

Geez, some emails are getting through, most are not forwarded to my client MacMail. They are also marked as read, which could mean that Yahoo is forwarding them somewhere...(?) Can't get ahold of Yahoo, ATT forwards me to Yahoo, Yahoo has no method of emailing real, technical questions, ATT supervisor actually called Apple and there is nothing wrong with the OS or my set up requirements.
Does anyone know a workaround for setting up smtp requirements? Can't switch email clients at this time, would take a lot of changing existing contact info for bizz.
At this point all I would like to know is, where is the problem? Why does a server (ATT/Yahoo) send some mail to my account, not send others, and marks all messages on the webmail as read? Thanks for the one response, I do believe the problem is some minor error set at the isp's server software for Macs, but who knows?

Using Mac Mail, I am suddenly not receiving messages in a POP account. The gmail account I use is working normally. Under connection doctor both accounts are green. Help, please?

Same problem here since upgrading to Mail 7.1 (1827). All the settings are seemingly correct. The emails are marked as 'Read' on the server but are not downloaded.
The emails are also deleted a week later as set in preferences.
Thinking the emails may have gone elsewhere I used Spotlight to look for them. No success there.
Real puzzle and yet another glitch on the latest Apple Mail.
Come on Apple, get your act together.

TS3276 Mail account set up. Can not receive mail-Everything is green in Connection doctor but when checking activity it shows stop signs. Was able to receive mail until last week then all of a sudden stopped receiving mail but no changes were made.

My mail account has been set up and working to send and receive mail for several months. All of a sudden I can not receive mail. The connection doctor shows all green lights. No changes have been made and nothing has been changed on preferences on IMAP and SMTP. I can send mail. My other accounts all send and receive mail. When you click on activity the list shows stop signs. All accounts show that they are online.

UPDATE:
I deleted all the messages off the server of the offending email address and everything works fine now.

All of a sudden I can not receive text messages on my MOTOX. Does anyone know how to solve this problem. I can send them, but can't receive them.

My MOTO X was working fine, then all of a sudden, I can not receive text messages. I have checked the settings and they look correct to me, and I have done everything the web site recommends, except wiping the phone and starting over, to try and fix it. Wifi: my Cell phone will remember 10 wifi connections. So delete any you don't use often and your home wifi and try to enter home wifi again.
if it still won't connect to home wifi, call your internet provider for help. You may need a newer router or different settings Or upgraded service. Your phone seeks the best connection and will refuse lesser connections.
last resort. Backup the phone. Do a full reset, then restore as new with the backup.
if still not fixed, go back to apple and insist on repair or replacement.
HOWEVER. voicemail is not a wifi issue, it's a carrier function, which is why the SIM card is a suspect.

Create a UM mailbox that does not receive mails and doesn't record voicemails

I want to create special UM mailboxes that only serve as announcements. These mailboxes should NOT receive any mails but more importantly, should not offer to record any voicemail.
I found several resources online to achieve part of what I want, but I can't find a way to create a mailbox (or auto-attendant) that does not accept to record voicemail.
Could any one help me out with that? Is it possible at all?
I'm running Exchange 2010.

Let me clarify my request.
I want an emergency announcement number. I have an internal number, let's say 950. I want to be able to forward calls to that internal extension, and when people call it, I want them to hear an announcement that says, for example "office is exceptionally
closed today", then does NOT offer to the caller to record a message. It can hang up, or simply stay silent until the caller hangs up, that doesn't really matter.
This was a very easy thing to do on the old Cisco Unity voicemail system I am used to. Now that I'm discovering Unified Messaging, I have been struggling with that for hours.
I have found this article on technet blog which goes exactly in the direction I want:

It says in the opening paragraph: "This scenario also needs to be configured so that the Mailbox which is setup for this is not setup to accept any voicemail messages."
