I am sure that my iphone 5 has a virus

In March 2014 my 16 month old iphone 5 suddenly went crazy and siri kept coming on and calling random people in my phone in the middle of the night and also random numbers.  At this time also I notice that if I held my phone flat in front of me with the screen unlocked and tipped it down towards my feet you could see a the camera roll and it said e.g. 68 of 788 or 702 of 788 etc and the battery drained really fast.  I took it to the apple store who couldn't fix it and I called apple who couldn't fix it and thought it was an issue with the button.  Apple were kind enough to provide me with a new phone (end of April 2014) even though it was out of warranty.
I didn't set siri up when I got the new phone and put all of my info back on that I'd saved on itunes.  A few days late siri flashed on once (despite not being enabled) and after a few more days my phone would call a few random numbers (not through siri however) the battery is much better and the phone has gone back to normal but I can still see the camera roll when I tip it up.
Can anybody help or tell me what it is?  ( I've not been back to the apple store yet either as I've just tried to ignore it).

It is unlikely for a hardware issue this unusual to affect two different phones in a row. Did you restore the new phone from a backup of the old phone? If so, you may have carried some kind of system glitch over to the new phone. Try restoring the phone to factory settings, without restoring a backup:
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
Alternately, it's possible that you could get an identical hardware problem if there's something in the environment damaging your phones in the same way - such as a defective charging cable or USB port, a hand cream that is interacting badly with the screen, excessive humidity, etc. This seems less likely, though.
