I am trying photoshop cc but I cant open psd files.
I cant get it to open files that I am able to open on another PC using cs6. I am using windows 8 with a dual monitor setup.

What happens if you select a file in the File > Open dialog?

I have no idea to what is going on, but I did all this work and now that I try to reopen the psd file, I can't.
I don't see anything, no layer, no photo nothing.
I am using window xp. got the scratch setup on an external drive with plenty of space. got 4gof memory and plenty of processing power.
once again I can see the thumbnail but can't open the psd file.
Thank you for your help.I got it to work. I think my main problem was since my psd file crashed I was using existing pdf to save as psd. well that didn't go well with photoshop. Plus the fact my scratch was in an external location. Once I recreated the drawing and installed an additional hard-drive where I relocated the scratch file I was set to go. I now can save and reopen the file with no issues.

Sony NEW RX10 & iPhoto Cant open RAW files
Hey Guys, I know that not ALL RAW files are equal! I just picked up a NEW SONY RX10 and its shooting RAW files in Sony's ARW format.. I see that the NEW a7's are updated in OSX updates, Im assuming that the a7's and the New RX10 are the same ARW format, but I cant open these files in Preview and Iphoto wont see them either! Im using OSX 10.8.5 (ML) and Iphoto 11 (9.4.3) (720.91) Is anyone else having this issue with a RX10 or newer Sony camera with ARW files... Please reply! I really would like to shoot in RAW and use iPhoto to edit! I guess not ALL SONY .ARW are equal????

There you go - that is an incorrect assumption (as most assumptions are - as you know when you assume you make an ***ume out of ***ume & assume) - every RAW format for every camera is different and requires specific support for tha tcamera - notice in the support list that many different cameras in the same family are listed seperatly
Usually Apple releases Sony RAW support pretty quickly since Sony is a major manfactuer of consumer and professional cameras
Tell Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback
The Sony software that came with the camera may help (although my experiance is that Sony has poor to non-existance support for Macs) and possible the Adobe RAW converter can help until Apple releases the required update
And it is very possible that the update will only apply to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.x so it is possible that you will have to upgrade your OS and iPhoto (both free) - when you do be sure to backup first

I have an old version Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. I uninstalled it from my old computer and was trying to install it on my new computer. It copied all the files but I cant open them and it doesn't ask me for my registration info, which I have. What shall I do to get Adobe up and running?
when you were install your cs3 you should have been prompted for you serial number. were you?
if not, you probably didn't properly install cs3. copying/migrating/moving etc is problematic.
if yes, did you see any error messages during installation?
if yes, attach a screenshot of the error message.
if not, check you install logs, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC -

I don't have a large library of music on my iPhone 4s since I've only had it since Oct 2012, but since the update to iTunes 11 in early December, my album artwork has been all messed up. Everytime I would try to add new music, it would assign the wrong album artwork to anything new coming in. And in addition to that, it would also mess up album artwork of music already on my phone. I finally came across your simple solution (at least for me because of my small inventory of music) of just deleting all the music through the settings, and then re-synching to add back my music. Now all of the album artwork is correct again. I'm almost afraid to add new music for fear the artwork will get mixed up all over again! I still think my issue is somehow connected to the iTunes 11 update because up until then I had no issues whatsoever. Anyway, thanks for an easy solution that worked for me. -

Error 3194:
This device isn't eligible for the requested build
It means that Apple has stopped signing the version of iOS that you have, try downloading the latest iOS version, then try Restore again.
