I am trying to activate my microcell and I got an error message 102

I have reset and hard reset as suggested on this forum and waited hours and continue to get flashing red network indicater. All other lights are solid green. This is my correct address but I am in the country. How do I fix this

Ok. You have either FTTP or DSL. Both of which have no problem with the MicroCell because the MicroCell is designed for land-based internet service, not satellite or WiFi.
The address error (locational database doesn't match the GPS coordinates sent by the MicroCell) seems to be a common problem right now. We have two other posters who had existing service and now are unable to re-establish connectivity due to address errors. My guess is that the database is corrupted and can't resolve received GPS coordinates. This happens every now and then.
What I would suggest doing is sending a pm to CustomerCare (link in my sig) with your issue, your account information, any troubleshooting you have done, the best way for them to contact you and your location. The more complaints that AT&T gets via pm the more likely they are to look at this as a possible regional-wide problem with the database and not just an isolated instance. Rural addresses are a real problem because E911 information is not always updated correctly to the database but it sounds like this is not your problem. I will link your post to the Admins and we'll see if we can get some traction internally as well. This could take a while especially if AT&T has to get IT involved.

I used Terminal to change the permissions on the folder in question. I followed the instructions in this article:
iTunes: Missing folder or incorrect permissions may prevent authorization
In my case, the folder was there, so I needed the command to change permissions on the folder, not to create one. I was hesitant to use Terminal b/c I know that if I made an error I could wipe out my hard drive or render my computer unusable. So to be SURE I didn't make an error, I carefully copied the command from that page and *pasted* it into Terminal. Also, before I could do anything in Terminal, I had to go change my admin password (it had been a blank password before and that's not acceptable for making changes in Terminal). I was just super careful when entering my password or doing anything else while Terminal was open (making sure I didn't accidently hit the spacebar or another key, etc.) And it fixed the problem right away.
What was confusing for me was that the iTunes error message said to change permissions in the FINDER, which is what I was trying to do. It didn't mention Terminal. What would really be helpful is if Apple included a link to a page like this in their error message.

Since you never changed the settings in the advanced section of iTunes preferecnes, you have to chech that your music is really in the location setted in the folders reported in the advanced section. If not you have 2 ways: reset the position of this folders or in the actual disk organisation or in the pointing on the preferences.
If you press the reset button you just give to itunes its default setting as for the position of the music files: probably this will be a good choice if you have never changed any default preference.
But before I would check the folders and see if the songs are really there

Reports are that this is a problem with the iTunes Store that they're working on. Some people have had success after signing out of their account and back in. If that doesn't work for you, wait a few hours or perhaps until tomorrow and by then they may have the problem sorted out.

Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

Tried to instal an auto update this morning and I got an error message

I got the usual auto update message this mortning, so I clicked install!
Now all I get is the error messages.... Program:C\program File(x86)iTunes\iTuneshelper.exe
Error 6034
Then I get another popped up stating. Windoes error 7
Windows error 1114
I deleted iTunes and started to reinstall :-(
Half way through I get an error message saying something about unable to instigate Mobile device (or simnilar)
Eventually, after clicking twice to retry and getting the same message, I clicked ignore???
Now each time I try to open iTunes I get the two messages reappear in quick succession???
I tried to 'ring' support... what a flippin' joke?
Even though it related to me PC I was asked to imput my device serial No.???
I did so, went through their process to call... and eventuall got told (by message), that they couldn't help me????????

Trying to download older podcasts and I get an error message

I'm trying to download some older podcasts from 2 podcasts that I subscribe to and I receive an error message saying I do not have privilege to download it. It says the URL has changed.
1: how does the URL change effect the download?
2: how do I fix this?

What exactly is the message you get?
Can you get to the front page of the iTunes Store?
Can you get to individual pages in the Store (i.e. a Podcast or a music artist)?
Is your firewall stopping you download anything?
Can you download anything from anywhere else?

Does anyone know how to open an old AppleWorks document: Address DB.cwk is the name of the document. I've tried Pages, iWork applications, Word and keep getting an error message.

As of Lion (10.7) the PowerPC compatibility "Rosetta" utility is no longer supported by Apple. So PowerPC programs such as AppleWorks no longer work.

If your Mac came with Snow Leopard or and earlier OS you can run Snow Leopard (10.6) on an external drive or on a partition on your internal drive to continue running PowerPC programs under the Rosetta utility.
