I am trying to add a video to my Keynote presentation on my iPad. Ideally I would like to be able to play the video in the presenation sream rather than switch between apps. Since I am 2 hours away from my computer to use iTunes syncing to move them there is not an option. Is there a way to move videos already on the iPad to the camera roll on iPad 2so I can use them?

Putting movies back into the camera roll on iphone 4s

Have some videos that I shot with the iphone 4s, after shooting them I loaded them on my macbook air to free up space on the iphone with iphoto. I now want to be ablt to reaload them to the iphone so I can edit them with imovie on the iphone. I am wondering what the fastest way is to get them from iphoto back to the iphone camera roll. I tried using Itunes, but the movie did not go in the camera roll so I could not open it up in the imovie app on the phone. Tried a couple of apps that use wifi to transfer from computer to phone but one of the videos will not upload. Is there an app that lets you transfer the movie back to the camera roll without using itunes?

Try to drag your videos to the iPhone photos folder in iPhoto. Should work.
If it doesn't help, you can always upload your files to dropbox or something similar and later download them on your iPhone.

Is there anyway to mark a photo as imported without actuall importing the photo? Some of the wallpaper apps on the iPad copy the image to the camera roll so you can make the image your background. I don't want to delete the image as I may use it later. Everytime I connect my iPad to my mac it launches iPhoto and wants to import the camera roll.
Another option would be to move items to another photo album and delete them from the camera roll bit I haven't figured out how to do that either.
Any suggestions would be great.

No - to have it imported you have to import it
why not import it and then delete it in iPhoto or ignore it

You should be able to click on the change themes button and go back to your original theme. If all of the text is currently in the book then make a backup before changing back just to be on the safe side. To do so just click on the book icon and type Command+d (Duplicate).

Yes, do not set it to automatic sync, and if these albums are purchases in iTunes, then you need to transfer them to your iTunes library. If you attempt to sync the device the music sync is one way, only from the library to the device. If this is music you did not purchase, but is on the iPod, you will need to get some 3rd party software to extract it from the iPod to put in the library. Touchcopy from Wide Angle Software is one choice. I have used it before and it does a lot more than music, and it works on both the Windows and Mac platforms.

I want to free up disk space on my Mac and assumed that the icloud would be a good way to do this, but having 'moved' 70Gb of files to the iCloud drive (I've upgraded to 200Gb storage) my Mac is still nearly full and I've realised that it seems to just Sync files just like dropbox.

I just want an online storage facility to back up my photo & music collections. I did look at Dropbox as they have a good deal going with their Dropbox Pro, however this is still just a sync service where the Master files reside on your local disk drive - although I have read that there may be a way to work around this. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
The music sync is one - way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases.

Photos NOT in your camera roll got onto your iPhone by synching from your computer. You need to synch those very same photos from your computer to your new phone. You don't move them from one phone to another.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.

Keep in mind, pictures showing in PhotoStream does not mean they will be there when a new device is added, only that they have been downloaded by the device they are displaying on.
In other words, if a new iDevice is added to the account, it will only download the last 1,000 pictures taken in the last 30 days, not every picture showing on other iDevices in PhotoStream.

The problem of tracks becoming de-linked between iTunes and the music files in your iTunes music folder happens for different reasons - this seems to come up fairly commonly in this forum.
The solution can be to locate each song in the iTunes library, as you mentioned - or, but wait, before I get to that...
trouble finding the original track in your iTunes music folder? maybe look for it under compilations, or if not using the 'group compilations preference' then look in the folder under the songs artist name, but what song artist name iTunes uses depends on what you have in the metedata tag spot for album artist or song artist. Any varyation in artist name spelling, in the menu item 'get info' metadata for any selected individual track will cause iTunes to create that as a separate artist folder in the library, even names like 'various' or any difference at all (even the word 'the' can change where in your iTunes music folder a track gets placed by iTunes). You can try to use the finder function of find file (finder munu item outside of iTunes) to locate hard to find items.
Back to how to re-link any de-linked tracks .
There may be scripts that can help re-link de-linked music files - or, at least provide you a list of such files, Scripts are easy to install and use...

Any way to sync pics to the camera Roll after restoring?

Is there any way at all to put pics I took with my camera and saved from online back into my camera roll to where I can delete pics on the phone?
Im gonna restore my phone and I copied all of my pics to a folder on my desktop, because I know the restore will delete them if I dont, after I restore I know in order to get those pics back on my phone, I have to sync the picture folder to the phone... But I wont be able to actually delete them and stuff like usual when you have them in your camera roll. Is there anyway?
I dont want to have to delete the pics from the folder and sync it everytime just to delete the pics..

I copied them, I just wanted to know if that was possible because itd be stupid to have to get on my computer, delete the photo I want, and sync it, every time I want to delete one.
I also was told before that I could use an app to email all the pics to myself and save them manually through my phone, but I have over 600 photos on the phone.

Downloading movies off of the camera roll into iTunes movie library

Has anyone figured out a way to automatically extract the movies off of the iPhone's camera roll and deposit them into the iTunes movies library when you sync? Once I get them in there, I will be able to play them with Apple TV pretty easily.

I use Win 7 and if I plugged (via USB) my iphone 4, windows can recognized the iphone as an external storage (just like flash disk) so I can browse through file manager (windows explorer) and can access the iPhone "Camera Cam" and make copy/delete files. I think this feature also works on Mac
