I am trying to apply for the FAFSA at a ed.gov/ site. They say that my foxfire 5.0 is not compatible . They want me to downgrade to foxfire 3.5 or 3.6 - so far I have not figured out how to do this.
Their site redirects me to a download page with links for many different browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, etc.) When I push the downloadable for mozilla, it redirects me to your page with the 5.0 upgrade. But my problem is that 5.0 is not compatible with their web page, i need 3.5 or 3.6 according to their techs. But they could not tell me how to do this.
You can install the portable Firefox 3.6.19 version to access websites that do not work with Firefox 5+.

I am trying to change my secondary icloud to my primary icloud. I've read several posts but can't seem to get any of those to work. It keeps telling me to change this I need to delete my icloud from internet accounts and sign back in. How do I do this though? When I go onto internet accounts, I don't see where I can manage this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
To change a secondary account you have to delete/sign out of both accounts. After doing so, you can sign back in with the secondary account ID in System Preferences>iCloud and it will become the primary account. To delete an account from System Preferences>Internet Accounts, select it on the left sidebar, then click the "-" icon at the bottom to delete it.

After 10.8.4 Update, I receive a series of capital A's in a box in some of the email signatures I receive. I can not figure out how to correct this.
Back up all data.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them, then boot in safe mode to rebuild the font caches. Boot again as usual and test.
Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions. -

If iMessage has become deactivated on your iPhone, which, apparently it has, the phone will need to send an SMS to activate it again. Therefore, you'll need a cellular connection.

Can someone please just help me figure out how to update this stupid phone(iPhone 4)without losing anything? I somehow have more than one Apple ID on this,but I just want my music and my pictures to stay and I'm terrified of losing these things. I have finally figured out how to export an iphoto album so that I can maintain the proper order of the photos after burning the file. How do I keep each individual photo title and description after exporting and burning? Presently after exporting and burning each photo is identified by the file name rather than each individual title description.
File name and Title are not the same thing.
Filename is attached to the Jpeg file in the Finder.
Title is attached to the photo within the Jpeg file - as is the description. These are written to the Exif and IPTC metadata on export.
So: File -> Export. Kind: Jpeg or Tiff and Check the box at 'Title and Keywords'. This will write the Title, keywords and descriptions (though not explicitly stated) to the metadata. This can then be viewed in any app that understand this material.
You can choose, if you wish, to also use the Title as a Filename - that's an option at File Name

My new nano keeps going into sleep mode every copy of minutes while music is playing. I can't figure out how to stop this. The user guide isn't too helpful. Any ideas?
This is usually a sign that your iPod's headphones are not plugged in all the way. Make sure that you cannot see any of the silver still showing from the headphone's plug. You should hear a sort of popping/clicking noise when inserting the headphones letting you know that they have been fully seated.

Create a contact for yourself either in the phone app or the contacts app. Then go - Settings > General > Siri > My Info > Set your contact.

I have an older mac and it wants me to update to itunes 10 but my mac is too old and I cant figure out how to disable the update so I can use the store.
If Software Update is offering the update then it would be compatible with your model. Unfortunately, you haven't provided us with any information on your hardware that would enable us to determine if it really is too old.
If you really wish to disable the update alert then the next time Software Update opens, select the update in the list then select "Ignore update" from SU's Update menu. -

I want to know if I can use my iCould storage simply to back up files. If so, I have not been able to figure out how.
Currently, only Apple apps (Pages, Numbers, etc.) can back up
data to iCloud. There is no way to use it to just simply backup any files.
There are some workarounds to get some data stored.
PDFs and any other document that can be read by Preview
can be backed up in iCloud. Load the document into Preview,
select Export..., click on the directory dropdown, then select
iCloud as destination. Not a drag and drop solution or an
all encompassing method, but you can get some stuff saved. -

did you try the PlayBack preset/template?
once you open the PlayBack plug-in you just load the tracks from the plug-in's menu. -

something I did find-and I still can't figure out why-is that download button was causing issues. I have NO idea why since it's an exact duplicate from another file.

I have the latest version and I tried updating anyways, but it still won't let me access the page to fill it out. This is what it says "An Incompatible Browser Has Been Detected Your Web browser is not supported by our Web site. You must use a Compliant Web Browser - Standard* to view our site properly.
