I am trying to buy an episode that is only offered on the Canadian Itunes, I was offered" to change store" in a pop up window in Itunes and when i go to buy it then tells I can't so why waste my time??

Is ther a way to purchase on another country's itunes store with US account? why would there be a pop up making the suggestion to" change store" and then decline the purchase.. how circular, maddening..hope I am not wasting even more time writing this...

You can ONLY buy from the country of your residence ( as proven by your credit card billing address), AND ONLY while physically in that country.

Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

Need to know your Mac model. If it's a PowerPC, the max OS is Leopard 10.5.x. If it's an Intel procesor, you can upgrade to Snow Leopard (for $29) & later to Lion.

Not unless you have them sign into the Canadian store. However, unless you have a Canadian Apple ID, iTunes account and Canadian bank-issued credit card, and Canadian billing address you won't be able to get a thing from the Canadian store. If you meet these requirements anything you buy will be tied to your Canadian Apple ID, not your US one.
