I am trying to buy more icloud storage and am putting in the correct password. everytime i do it it says completing purchase and then keeps asking me for my password as if it wasnt correcr and wont let me buy the storage.
I AM TRYING TO BUY MORE ICLOUD STORAGE. I PUT IN THE CORRECT PASSWORD AND SAYS COMPLETING PURCHASE. IT THEN GOES BACK TO MY PASSWORD AND I HAVE TO PUT IT IN AGAIN. I CANT GET ANY FURTHER SO WONT LET ME BUY IT. ANY IDEAS?

i thought i did but when i go to actualize the app it keeps asking me for his password cuase his apple id shows ....

- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account. -
I am trying to update my apps using a new user ID. I have changed it and I can't get it to change in the App Store. It keeps asking me for a password for my old ID??
YOu can't update your apps with the new apple id. All apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchased it, you will need to enter your password from you old id to update.

I create my apple id from my boyfriend macbook and its says that I have to review my itunes information , when I get to the credit card number info etc. Its keep asking me for that I dont have any credit card and I dont want to put any , what should I do?
You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.
Read this before proceeding.

Outlook 2003 and my modem connection keeps asking me for my password!
And it's getting REALLY annoying to have to type this in everytime.
Modem keeps asking me for my WEP, which is already saved in the settings.
Outlook 2003 (Vista) keeps asking me for my password for receiving and sending email everytime. This password is ALSO saved in the settings. Oh, and then I get an error message stating it cannot perform these functions.
This never used to happen during dial-up when I had it. This is excruciatingly annoying.
With outlook, it was happening on and off, but now consistently.

Apple Mail keeps asking me for my password ... over and over
Hi,
I am having an issue that is driving me crazy on my macbook.
I have set up my mail password without issues and was accessing this until a month ago on a regular basis. Now, when I access it, it asks me for my password every 30 seconds - I have tried entering it, validating it, changing it, deleting past the message, resetting the entire account from the preferences ( including deleting the account and re-adding it ) but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have any what I need to do to get this to work? I'm wondering if I need to start deleting keychains but surely the system should use the latest version and I should not need to. This is driving me crazy - all I want to do is write a mail and I spend 30 mins tryingt to get past this message.

on the left, for Keychains, select login
for Category, select Passwords
use the search box to search for all keychain entries related to the passwords in question
delete those entries
in the Keychain Access menu, scroll down to Keychain First Aid
enter your password, select repair, and start
I don't know if a restart is needed at this point but it wouldn't hurt.
you will have to enter your passwords again but this time they should stick. -
ITunes wont let me download music it keeps asking me for a password

I can't get on line with out some keychain request for a password but it will not accept the one password I have. I really hate this. I have tried to unlock the local items but it want's a password and it will not take my password... PLEASE PLEASE genious MAC people fix this. I loved my MAC until i downloaded OS X maverics and now i am wanting a PC.....

What OS are your running? If you can access your user library, you can go to Keychains/login.keychain and move it to your desktop. Restart and a new login keychain should be created. If successful, delete the one from your desktop. -

However, new Apple ID password works through Icloud. Have tried signing out of Icloud and then signing back in, in the hope for ID sync with Mac but Mac system pref still asks for old password in order to set up the new. Any advice??

I have just updated my mcbook pro to OS X Mountain Lion. Then Mail hasn't worked properly. Before I updated it, I could use Mail and it worked properly. I have been trying to fix it by stting my e-mail account but it didn't work

I thought that my MacPro is 64bit? Well that is as far as I remember the salesman telling me, back when I did the B.T.O spec.
I am running 64bit apps [in full 64bit mode] as far as I understand. Like the CS suiite.
If I look at "About Photoshop…" it says — Version 12.1 x64
Doesn't that mean that it is running 64bit apps?
Or are you saysing that the "entire operating system" / "bios" or whatever it is called in Mac language, is not actually capable of running as 64bit?
I need to find my box, that came with the MacPro, ans just have a look at the info that is detailed on it. As as far as I can remember there was even a big "64bit" flashy thing, somewhere on the outside of the box.
But in the meantime, if you can perhaps help with the earlier questions.

Where woudl I find the info / persons that I could investigate that "Hack", as I may need to investigate that a little. If anything just to be better informed, for the future. At the end of the day, if I have to scrub the entire Mac to the beginging, and reload everything, so be it, at least it will be a learning curve in the process.
I have all the legal software installers etc, so all that it will cost me is time, if it does "kill" the operating system … -
I just got a Linksys router (WRT54GS), and when I get to step 8, it keeps asking me for a password?
I recently got a Wireless-G Broadband Router modele WRT54GS. When I get to step 8 on the setup disk, I press "Next", and it starts to check my computer's settings. It then asks for a password, so I enter "admin" like I've been told. It starts to check my computer's settings again, and then asks for the password. It keeps happening. Am I doing something wrong?

It keeps asking me to re- enter the password. Is there something that I am doing wrong, the account has been verified but as soon as I exit out of settings it will ask me to re-enter my password.

If you mean you mean you need to change the iCloud ID, you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
