You will have to delete your rescue email address first, then go back and change your primary.

You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

One way would be took look at the address tables JGTADRA and JGTSADR to find the unique address number associated with the deleted address that is linked to the ship to address of the subscriptions. Once you have it, you have the option of re-creating it or changing one through JGA0 to correct the current one to the one deleted. Once this is done, your delivery viabilities should be valid again.

Several years ago I had an itunes account through my work email address. I have since let the company but when I tried to access the songs I'd already purchased, my password would not work because that account no longer existed. You can reset your Apple ID password via the steps in the first article below. I would try the option to answer your security questions. If those steps do not work then you may need to reach out to our account security team to reset this old Apple ID password. Once this is done you should be able to access your old DRM protected purchases.

I have a new iPad. I am using Comcast as my email provider but when I send a message, it pulls up the facebook email addresses for my contacts instead of the addresses stored in my comcast account. How can I get rid of the Facebook email addresses? The comcast addresses are stored in the comcast (xfinity) app. I do not use the "mail" or "contacts" apps ....I go straight to comcast (xfinity). I wish I could start over!!! thanks.
iPadI could be wrong, but it sounds like Facebook imported to your contacts. I have the Xfinity app on my new ipad, too, but none of my stored contacts from the online version are showing, only what I manually entered into the iPads contacts are there. When I did add the FB app, I did not grant it permission to push and pull from my ipad (not a fan of FB knowing every detail about me), so that may be where our difference lies. You could try to open the app and change your privacy settings, or delete it and then reinstall without granting permissions to integrate.
I'm sure someone here with a lot more knowledge then me can probably diagnose your issue better, though. Good luck! -

If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support. -

The only way to avoid the problem is to add two step verification on your email accounts.
It's a pain to set up, but it prevents anyone from signing in to your account on another device you don't authorize.

So you made a new Apple ID? Unfortunately that won't work. Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one ID to another and Apple does not merge Apple IDs. What should have been doen is mearely change the email address that was associated with the Apple ID.

That is rather strange. Attachments are attachments. The big difference between what will send and what won't is usually either who you are sending it to (wrong email address) or how big the attachment is (most email providers have a limit to the total message size between 10 MB and 20 MB).
-- What happens when you say you are "unable to email PDF attachments"? What error message do you get?
-- Are you sending these emails using the Mail program?
-- What is the file size of the PDF you are trying to send?
-- What happens if you compress the PDF before you email it (Highlight the PDF on the desktop and then go to File > Compress) ?

I received notice about a new cover art requirement (1400x1400 pixels) but can't find a way to change my existing art. My podcast has been updating flawlessly for several years, so I'd hate to have to remove the feed and start over.
Please note - this was not a personalized email - Apple is sending this out to ALL podcasts that are listed on iTunes.
If you are hosting with Libsyn or most any other "Podcast" host you should be ok.

If you are on a self hosted site or worse yet using some file storage service like Dropbox - then you are going to have issues.

with the bamboo fun have disk which has been registered under another old email account. This has compounded by the inability for the adobe photoshop element unable to install onto my pc. it continues to state, cannot install as your pc does not have the shockwave player. I have tried to download this and it states it is installed but cannot open the file.
