I am creating an multi provider from 3 ods. how do i got about in creating dimensions using ods. Can anyone let me know how to create dimensions using ods.

Dear Haritha,
You can create dimensions.But you will not be using these dimensions while running query. As you know multi provider doesn't hold any data.
When you create multiprovder using info cubes.While running query based on multi provider in turn it will use info cube's dimension...
As there will be not be any dimensions in ODS.
So while creating Multi provider based on ODS only, you need to create "ZXXXX" dimensions.. just for the sake of creating the dimension ...because if you dont create dimensions in will not allow you to create MP.

Unable tp create multi provider for ODS objects

Hello Gurus,
I want to create a multi provider or an Z ods object. When I do the same it does not show me the Z ODS objects. But it shows me the Standard SAP ODS for creating multi provider.

Hi,
For the ODS that you are trying to use, check if the BEx reporting has been turned on in the ODS object settings. If it is not, then you cannot use it in a multiprovider.

Dear Mohan,
For creating a Multiprovider first you have identify what key figures you want to see and what characteristics are common in the both the infocubes , and then create a MP , with the two cubes, select the characteristics and key figures , then maintain the dimensions , Maintain the Indentification ( in the sense the common characteristics , how they should be picked from the base infoproviders ) and the last step is to select the key figures , from which target they should be picked in the query. if you require from both , select from both and maintain the restriction in the query with the help of infoproviders..

Error when trying to create a web service from a wsdl file using jdeveloper

I'm using the latest jdeveloper and jdk 6 update 20 on solaris sparc 10.
When I'm trying to create a web service from a wsdl on the java EE 1.5 platform i get the following error:

You are asking about an issue that was a pain in the nick for me few months ago. The problem is that you won't find mych help here as I figured out that Apex geeks here either did not do much webservices or ended up hating it as i do :) . This is an error that can be due many different reason, let me ask you this:
1- Does your the other system you are trying to call through webservices using HTTPS ?
2- If yes, did you create a valid oracle wallet for that https connection ?
3- Make sure you are using the correct URL ( am sure you do, just double check )
4- If using a proxy, then you have to define that in the web service reference creation page

Trying to create PAL SD DVD from 23.98fps 720P project

I'm trying to create a PAL DVD from a HDV 23.98fps 720P project and am having a few issues. All the footage is PAL and I am converting it to an SD file as it is for an SD DVD however exporting through FCP gives me black frames, using DVD studio pro to convert gives me a freeze frame effect (both of which I assume is through converting 23.98 to 25 fps) so I was told to use Compressor. I tried this but can only seem to render out a 23.98fps file as NTSC, whenever I switch it to PAL it automatically changes to 25fps as my only option.
Any help would be much appreciated as my deadline is looming.

Are you sure that your footage is PAL 23.98 fps? I'm not involved with HDV but that sounds like NTSC frames.
What is the source of that footage?

Probably best if you could post screen shots of the Inspecror window in extended view with a couple of the clips you using for the 2 angles.
If you have audio from both cameras and have identified them separately, the sync is usually pretty reliable.

An infoprovider is an SAP BW object you can use to create and excute queries . Info providers include objects that physically contain data , for expale ... data target like info cube , ods onjects , and info objects ( char , att, text or hier ..)
They also include objects that do not represent physical data storgae :
Remote cubes , sap remote cubes . and multiproviders.
info providers are objects or views relevant to reporting ..
info providers can include
info cubes ( basic cubes and virtual cubes )
ods
char obj ( with attt or text )
info set
multiproviders

I assume you are talking about Numbers. If you launch you are presented with template chooser. Highlight your template and in the lower right hand corner-->Choose.

I was previously able to generate a types jar just fine from the web service's WSDL. Recently, I made some changes to the web service. Apparently, these changes to the web service now cause the WSDL to be unparseable when trying to generate types jars.
Any ideas?

The WSDL is generated from my web service. I made heavy revisions to my web service which, in turn, affected the resultant WSDL. The changes I made to my web service were almost exclusively related to object substitution. For example, prior to the change I was referencing object A from my web service; after the change, I was referencing object B. The objects that I'm referring to are XMLBeans, if that matters. I can't really describe it more than that without actually showing you the WSDL.
I would post the WSDL file here to allow you to try to create a types jar out of it, but the WSDL exceeds the 30000 character limit for this field. There is no way for me to attach the WSDL to this post.

Trying to create dynamic inset Stmt from Hashmap

Hi,
I have a string A=1,B=2,C=3,.... etc and based on the values which I check for, it has insert these values into different tables. The way I thought for this output was to put these values into a Hashmap. so A is the columnName and 1 would be the value into it. Let us think the table is already created with the column names A,B,C. I am thinking of a way to create a dynamic insert statement by passing the variable values Hashmap and tablename, something like using method insertIntoTable(String tablename, Hashmap logValuesMap).
I was looking for some kind of insert statement to match the column names and values like
String insertStmt = "insert into "+ tablename + " (A,B,C) values (1,2,3)
I had been thinking of a way to achieve this for the past few hours with no luck.

Trying to create round LED effect from ellipse -- what tools to use

I need some direction. I know what I want to do but can't find the right tools in the photoshop toolbox to accomplish the task. I want to create a top down view of a single green LED. I want it to have the illusion of a rounded dome and some sort of highlight like the room light was bouncing from a point in the rounded surface. I've played around with the ellipse tool to create the green circle and several attempts using the blend modes, bevel emboss and inner glow. Nothing seems to come close to what I want.Thanks for directing me to the right tools to be using. Jim

You are trying to make it too simple and complicated in the same vein. No need for layer styles add all. You need just a bunch of circles layered on top of each other using blending modes. Start out with the darkes color, then add feathered circles on top of it using Screen, Multiply and Add blending modes. Scale them in size, and place them correctly. They colors should all be along the base color, but with slight variations in brightness and saturation. Use a very bright samll one placed out of center to create a specular highlight...

Okay so I want to create a RSS feed with these two links:

I have checked out different widgets and what not but I want to create this from scratch.

So I created a button on my home page, and it is linked to this XML file. Everything works great except it only shows the item that I coded in...I want it to show ALL items.
Can I do this without having to input each item individually?
Is this how I should do it anyways with a button linking to this xml file?
I really want to have like 3-5 of the posts to auto update on my home page but I dont know how to embed the RSS into my HTML home page file.
Also, the way I have it coded, will it automatically update the new posts?
or do I have to wait for the new post and input the item into the xml file?
I am very new to the RSS feed so please help.
